which are at Jerusalem בִירֽוּשְׁלֶם֙ H3390 let it be לֶֽהֱוֵ֨א H1934 given מִתְיְהֵ֥ב H3052 לְהֹ֛ם H0 by day בְּי֖וֹם H3118 by day בְּי֖וֹם H3118 דִּי H1768 without לָ֥א H3809 fail שָׁלֽוּ׃ H7960 10 אֱנָ֗שׁ H606 דִּ֤י H1768 shall alter יְהַשְׁנֵא֙ H8133 word פִּתְגָמָ֣א H6600 this דְּנָֽה׃ H1836 be pulled down יִתְנְסַ֥ח H5256 let timber אָע֙ H636 Also מִן H4481 and let his house וּבַיְתֵ֛הּ H1005 and being set up וּזְקִ֖יף H2211 let him be hanged יִתְמְחֵ֣א H4223 for עַל H5922 and let his house וּבַיְתֵ֛הּ H1005 a dunghill נְוָל֥וּ H5122 be made יִתְעֲבֵ֖ד H5648 for עַל H5922 this דְּנָֽה׃ H1836 12 And the God אֱלָהָ֥א H426 דִּ֣י H1768 to dwell שַׁכִּ֧ן H7932 that hath caused his name שְׁמֵ֣הּ H8036 there תַּמָּ֗ה H8536 destroy יְמַגַּ֞ר H4049 all כָּל H3606 kings מֶ֤לֶךְ H4430 and people וְעַם֙ H5972 דִּ֣י׀ H1768 that shall put יִשְׁלַ֣ח H7972 to their hand יְדֵ֗הּ H3028 to alter לְהַשְׁנָיָ֛ה H8133 and to destroy לְחַבָּלָ֛ה H2255 house בֵּית H1005 And the God אֱלָהָ֥א H426 this דֵ֖ךְ H1791 דִּ֣י H1768 which is at Jerusalem בִירֽוּשְׁלֶ֑ם H3390 I אֲנָ֤ה H576 Darius דָֽרְיָ֙וֶשׁ֙ H1868 have made שָׂ֣מֶת H7761 a decree טְעֵ֔ם H2942 with speed אָסְפַּ֖רְנָא H629 let it be done יִתְעֲבִֽד׃ H5648 13 Then אֱ֠דַיִן H116 Tatnai תַּתְּנַ֞י H8674 governor פַּחַ֧ת H6347 on this side עֲבַֽר H5675 the river נַהֲרָ֛ה H5103 שְׁתַ֥ר H0 Shetharboznai בּֽוֹזְנַ֖י H8370 and their companions וּכְנָוָֽתְה֑וֹן H3675 according לָֽקֳבֵ֗ל H6903 דִּֽי H1768 had sent שְׁלַ֞ח H7972 to that which Darius דָּֽרְיָ֧וֶשׁ H1868 the king מַלְכָּ֛א H4430 so כְּנֵ֖מָא H3660 speedily אָסְפַּ֥רְנָא H629 they did עֲבַֽדוּ׃ H5648 14 And the elders וְשָׂבֵ֤י H7868 of the Jews יְהֽוּדָיֵא֙ H3062 And they builded וּבְנ֣וֹ H1124 and they prospered וּמַצְלְחִ֔ין H6744 through the prophesying בִּנְבוּאַת֙ H5017 of Haggai חַגַּ֣י H2292 the prophet נְבִיָּ֔אה H5029 and Zechariah וּזְכַרְיָ֖ה H2148 the son בַּר H1247 of Iddo עִדּ֑וֹא H5714 And they builded וּבְנ֣וֹ H1124 and finished וְשַׁכְלִ֗לוּ H3635 it according מִן H4481 to the commandment טַ֙עַם֙ H2941 of the God אֱלָ֣הּ H426 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3479 and according to the commandment וּמִטְּעֵם֙ H2942 of Cyrus כּ֣וֹרֶשׁ H3567 and Darius וְדָֽרְיָ֔וֶשׁ H1868 and Artaxerxes וְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֖שְׂתְּא H783 king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4430 of Persia פָּרָֽס׃ H6540 15 was finished וְשֵׁיצִיא֙ H3319 house בַּיְתָ֣ה H1005 And this דְנָ֔ה H1836 on עַ֛ד H5705 day י֥וֹם H3118 the third תְּלָתָ֖ה H8532 of the month לִירַ֣ח H3393 Adar אֲדָ֑ר H144 דִּי H1768 which was הִ֣יא H1932 year שְׁנַת H8140 in the sixth שֵׁ֔ת H8353 of the reign לְמַלְכ֖וּת H4437 of Darius דָּֽרְיָ֥וֶשׁ H1868 the king מַלְכָּֽא׃ H4430 16 kept וַֽעֲבַ֣דוּ H5648 And the children בְּנֵֽי H1123 of Israel יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל H3479 the priests כָּֽהֲנַיָּ֨א H3549 and the Levites וְלֵֽוָיֵ֜א H3879 and the rest וּשְׁאָ֣ר H7606 And the children בְּנֵֽי H1123 of the captivity גָלוּתָ֗א H1547 the dedication חֲנֻכַּ֛ת H2597 house בֵּית H1005 of God אֱלָהָ֥א H426 of this לְחַטָּיָ֤א H2402 for עַל H5922 all כָּל H3606 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3479 twelve תְּרֵֽי H8648 עֲשַׂ֔ר H6236 according to the number לְמִנְיָ֖ן H4510 of the tribes שִׁבְטֵ֥י H7625 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3479 18 And they set וַֽהֲקִ֨ימוּ H6966 the priests כָֽהֲנַיָּ֜א H3549 in their divisions בִּפְלֻגָּֽתְה֗וֹן H6392 and the Levites וְלֵֽוָיֵא֙ H3879 in their courses בְּמַחְלְקָ֣תְה֔וֹן H4255 for עַל H5922 the service עֲבִידַ֥ת H5673 of God אֱלָהָ֖א H426 דִּ֣י H1768 which is at Jerusalem בִירֽוּשְׁלֶ֑ם H3390 as it is written כִּכְתָ֖ב H3792 in the book סְפַ֥ר H5609 of Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4873 19 kept וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ H6213 And the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of the captivity הַגּוֹלָ֖ה H1473 אֶת H853 the passover הַפָּ֑סַח H6453 upon the fourteenth בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה H702 עָשָׂ֖ר H6240 month לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ H2320 day of the first הָֽרִאשֽׁוֹן׃ H7223 20 כִּ֣י H3588 were purified הִֽטַּהֲר֞וּ H2891 For the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֖ים H3548 and the Levites וְהַלְוִיִּ֛ם H3881 together כְּאֶחָ֖ד H259 כֻּלָּ֣ם H3605 all of them were pure טְהוֹרִ֑ים H2889 and killed וַיִּשְׁחֲט֤וּ H7819 the passover הַפֶּ֙סַח֙ H6453 לְכָל H3605 for all the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of the captivity הַגּוֹלָ֔ה H1473 and for their brethren וְלַֽאֲחֵיהֶ֥ם H251 For the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֖ים H3548 וְלָהֶֽם׃ H1992 21 did eat וַיֹּֽאכְל֣וּ H398 And the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 which were come again הַשָּׁבִים֙ H7725 out of captivity מֵֽהַגּוֹלָ֔ה H1473 וְכֹ֗ל H3605 and all such as had separated הַנִּבְדָּ֛ל H914 themselves unto them from the filthiness מִטֻּמְאַ֥ת H2932 of the heathen גּוֹיֵֽ H1471 of the land
