priests וְהַכֹּֽהֲנִ֣ים H3548 and the Levites וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 The people מֵֽעַמֵּ֖י H5971 of the lands הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת H776 doing according to their abominations כְּ֠תוֹעֲבֹֽתֵיהֶם H8441 even of the Canaanites לַכְּנַֽעֲנִ֨י H3669 the Hittites הַֽחִתִּ֜י H2850 the Perizzites הַפְּרִזִּ֣י H6522 the Jebusites הַיְבוּסִ֗י H2983 the Ammonites הָֽעַמֹּנִי֙ H5984 the Moabites הַמֹּ֣אָבִ֔י H4125 the Egyptians הַמִּצְרִ֖י H4713 and the Amorites וְהָֽאֱמֹרִֽי׃ H567 2 כִּֽי H3588 For they have taken נָשְׂא֣וּ H5375 of their daughters מִבְּנֹֽתֵיהֶ֗ם H1323 לָהֶם֙ H1992 for themselves and for their sons וְלִבְנֵיהֶ֔ם H1121 have mingled וְהִתְעָֽרְבוּ֙ H6148 seed זֶ֣רַע H2233 so that the holy הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ H6944 themselves with the people בְּעַמֵּ֖י H5971 of those lands הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת H776 yea the hand וְיַ֧ד H3027 of the princes הַשָּׂרִ֣ים H8269 and rulers וְהַסְּגָנִ֗ים H5461 הָ֥יְתָ֛ה H1961 in this trespass בַּמַּ֥עַל H4604 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 hath been chief רִֽאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ H7223 3 And when I heard וּכְשָׁמְעִי֙ H8085 אֶת H853 this thing הַדָּבָ֣ר H1697 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 I rent קָרַ֥עְתִּי H7167 אֶת H853 my garment בִּגְדִ֖י H899 and my mantle וּמְעִילִ֑י H4598 and plucked off וָֽאֶמְרְטָ֞ה H622 כֹּ֤ל H3605 unto me every one that trembled חָרֵד֙ H2730 at the words בְּדִבְרֵ֣י H1697 of the God אֱלֹהֵֽי H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 עַ֖ל H5921 because of the transgression מַ֣עַל H4604 of those that had been carried away הַגּוֹלָ֑ה H1473 וַֽאֲנִי֙ H589 and I sat יֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 astonied מְשׁוֹמֵ֔ם H8074 עַ֖ד H5704 sacrifice לְמִנְחַ֥ת H4503 until the evening הָעָֽרֶב׃ H6153 5 sacrifice וּבְמִנְחַ֣ת H4503 And at the evening הָעֶ֗רֶב H6153 I arose up קַ֚מְתִּי H6965 from my heaviness מִתַּֽעֲנִיתִ֔י H8589 and having rent וּבְקָרְעִ֥י H7167 my garment בִגְדִ֖י H899 and my mantle וּמְעִילִ֑י H4598 I fell וָֽאֶכְרְעָה֙ H3766 עַל H5921 upon my knees בִּרְכַּ֔י H1290 and spread out וָֽאֶפְרְשָׂ֥ה H6566 my hands כַפַּ֖י H3709 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 my God אֱלֹהָֽי׃ H430 6 And said וָאֹֽמְרָ֗ה H559 O my God אֱלֹהַ֛י H430 I am ashamed בֹּ֣שְׁתִּי H954 and blush וְנִכְלַ֔מְתִּי H3637 to lift up לְהָרִ֧ים H7311 O my God אֱלֹהַ֛י H430 my face פָּנַ֖י H6440 אֵלֶ֑יךָ H413 כִּ֣י H3588 for our iniquities עֲוֺנֹתֵ֤ינוּ H5771 are increased רָבוּ֙ H7235 over לְמַ֣עְלָה H4605 our head רֹּ֔אשׁ H7218 and our trespass וְאַשְׁמָתֵ֥נוּ H819 is grown up גָֽדְלָ֖ה H1431 עַ֥ד H5704 unto the heavens לַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ H8064 7 Since the days כְּהַיּ֥וֹם H3117 of our fathers אֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ H1 אֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ H587 trespass בְּאַשְׁמָ֣ה H819 have we been in a great גְדֹלָ֔ה H1419 עַ֖ד H5704 Since the days כְּהַיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 and for our iniquities וּבַעֲוֺנֹתֵ֡ינוּ H5771 been delivered נִתַּ֡נּוּ H5414 אֲנַחְנוּ֩ H587 have we our kings מַלְכֵ֣י H4428 and our priests כֹֽהֲנֵ֜ינוּ H3548 into the hand בְּיַ֣ד׀ H3027 have we our kings מַלְכֵ֣י H4428 of the lands הָֽאֲרָצ֗וֹת H776 to the sword בַּחֶ֜רֶב H2719 to captivity בַּשְּׁבִ֧י H7628 and to a spoil וּבַבִּזָּ֛ה H961 and to confusion וּבְבֹ֥שֶׁת H1322 of face פָּנִ֖ים H6440 Since the days כְּהַיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 8 וְעַתָּ֡ה H6258 And now for a little מְעַ֖ט H4592 space רֶגַע֩ H7281 הָֽיְתָ֨ה H1961 grace תְחִנָּ֜ה H8467 מֵאֵ֣ת׀ H853 hath been shewed from the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 our God אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ H430 to leave לְהַשְׁאִ֥יר H7604 לָ֙נוּ֙ H0 us a remnant to escape פְּלֵיטָ֔ה H6413 and give וּלְתִתֵּ֛נוּ H5414 לָ֥נוּ H0 us a nail יָתֵ֖ד H3489 place בִּמְק֣וֹם H4725 in his holy קָדְשׁ֑וֹ H6944 may lighten לְהָאִ֤יר H215 our eyes עֵינֵ֙ינוּ֙ H5869 our God אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ H430 and give וּלְתִתֵּ֛נוּ H5414 reviving מִֽחְיָ֥ה H4241 And now for a little מְעַ֖ט H4592 in our bondage בְּעַבְדֻתֵֽנוּ׃ H5659 9 כִּֽי H3588 For we were bondmen עֲבָדִ֣ים H5650 אֲנַ֔חְנוּ H587 us in our bondage וּבְעַבְדֻ֔תֵנוּ H5659 לֹ֥א H3808 hath not forsaken עֲזָבָ֖נוּ H5800 of our God אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ H430 but hath extended וַֽיַּט H5186 עָלֵ֣ינוּ H5921 mercy חֶ֡סֶד H2617 unto us in the sight לִפְנֵי֩ H6440 of the kings מַלְכֵ֨י H4428 of Persia פָרַ֜ס H6539 thereof and to give וְלָֽתֶת H5414 לָ֣נוּ H0 us a reviving מִֽחְיָ֗ה H4241 to set up לְרוֹמֵ֞ם H7311 אֶת H853 the house בֵּ֤ית H1004 of our God אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ H430 and to repair וּלְהַֽעֲמִ֣יד H5975 אֶת H853 the desolations חָרְבֹתָ֔יו H2723 thereof and to give וְלָֽתֶת H5414 לָ֣נוּ H0 us a wall גָדֵ֔ר H1447 in Judah בִּֽיהוּדָ֖ה H3063 and in Jerusalem וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 10 וְעַתָּ֛ה H6258 מַה H4100 what shall we say נֹּאמַ֥ר H559 And now O our God אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ H430 after אַֽחֲרֵי H310 זֹ֑את H2063 כִּ֥י H3588 this for we have forsaken עָזַ֖בְנוּ H5800 thy commandments מִצְוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ H4687 11 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Which thou hast commanded צִוִּ֗יתָ H6680 by בְּיַ֨ד H3027 thy servants עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ H5650 the prophets הַנְּבִיאִים֮ H5030 saying לֵאמֹר֒ H559 The land הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת H776 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 אַתֶּ֤ם H859 unto which ye go בָּאִים֙ H935 to possess לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ H3423 The land הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת H776 it is an unclean בְּנִדַּ֖ת H5079 הִ֔יא H1931 it is an unclean בְּנִדַּ֖ת H5079 of the people עַמֵּ֣י H5971 The land הָֽאֲרָצ֑וֹת H776 with their abominations בְּתוֹעֲבֹֽתֵיהֶ֗ם H8441 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which have filled מִלְא֛וּהָ H4390 it from one end פֶּ֖ה H6310 אֶל H413 it from one end פֶּ֖ה H6310 with their uncleanness בְּטֻמְאָתָֽם׃ H2932 12 וְ֠עַתָּה H6258 not your daughters וּבְנֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ H1323 אַל H408 Now therefore give תִּתְּנ֣וּ H5414 to your children לִבְנֵיכֶ֖ם H1121 not your daughters וּבְנֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ H1323 אַל H408 neither take תִּשְׂא֣וּ H5375 to your children לִבְנֵיכֶ֖ם H1121 וְלֹֽא H3808 nor seek תִדְרְשׁ֧וּ H1875 their peace שְׁלֹמָ֛ם H7965 or their wealth וְטֽוֹבָתָ֖ם H2896 for עַד H5704 ever עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 לְמַ֣עַן H4616 that ye may be strong תֶּֽחֶזְק֗וּ H2388 and eat וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּם֙ H398 אֶת H853 the good ט֣וּב H2898 of the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 and leave it for an inheritance וְהֽוֹרַשְׁתֶּ֥ם H3423 to your children לִבְנֵיכֶ֖ם H1121 for עַד H5704 ever עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 13 And after וְאַֽחֲרֵי֙ H310 כָּל H3605 all that is come הַבָּ֣א H935 עָלֵ֔ינוּ H5921 deeds בְּמַֽעֲשֵׂ֙ינוּ֙ H4639 upon us for our evil הָֽרָעִ֔ים H7451 trespass וּבְאַשְׁמָתֵ֖נוּ H819 and for our great הַגְּדֹלָ֑ה H1419 כִּ֣י׀ H3588 אַתָּ֣ה H859 seeing that thou our God אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ H430 hast punished חָשַׂ֤כְתָּֽ H2820 us less לְמַ֙טָּה֙ H4295 than our iniquities מֵֽעֲוֹנֵ֔נוּ H5771 deserve and hast given וְנָתַ֥תָּה H5414 לָּ֛נוּ H0 us such deliverance פְּלֵיטָ֖ה H6413 כָּזֹֽאת׃ H2063 14 Should we again הֲנָשׁוּב֙ H7725 break לְהָפֵ֣ר H6565 thy commandments מִצְוֹתֶ֔יךָ H4687 and join in affinity וּ֨לְהִתְחַתֵּ֔ן H2859 with the people בְּעַמֵּ֥י H5971 of these abominations הַתֹּֽעֵב֖וֹת H8441 הָאֵ֑לֶּה H428 הֲל֤וֹא H3808 wouldest not thou be angry תֶֽאֱנַף H599 בָּ֙נוּ֙ H0 עַד H5704 with us till thou hadst consumed כַּלֵּ֔ה H3615 לְאֵ֥ין H369 us so that there should be no remnant שְׁאֵרִ֖ית H7611 nor escaping וּפְלֵיטָֽה׃ H6413 15 O LORD יְהוָ֞ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֤י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 thou art righteous צַדִּ֣יק H6662 אַ֔תָּה H859 כִּֽי H3588 for we remain נִשְׁאַ֥רְנוּ H7604 yet escaped פְלֵיטָ֖ה H6413 as it is this day כְּהַיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 הִנְנ֤וּ H2005 before לְפָנֶ֖יךָ H6440 thee in our
