H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that I will shew אַרְאֶֽךָּ׃ H7200 2 And I will make of thee וְאֶֽעֶשְׂךָ֙ H6213 nation לְג֣וֹי H1471 a great גָּד֔וֹל H1419 and I will bless וַאֲבָ֣רֶכְךָ֔ H1288 great H4196 And the LORD לַֽיהוָ֖ה H3068 appeared הַנִּרְאֶ֥ה H7200 אֵלָֽיו׃ H413 8 And he removed וַיַּעְתֵּ֨ק H6275 מִשָּׁ֜ם H8033 from thence unto a mountain הָהָ֗רָה H2022 on the east מִקֶּ֔דֶם H6924 וְנָס֖וֹעַ H5265 And Abram אַבְרָ֔ם H87 going on הָל֥וֹךְ H1980 journeyed וְנָס֖וֹעַ H5265 toward the south הַנֶּֽגְבָּה׃ H5045 10 וַיְהִ֥י H1961 And there was a famine הָֽרָעָ֖ב H7458 in the land בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 went down וַיֵּ֨רֶד H3381 and Abram אַבְרָ֤ם H87 into Egypt מִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙ H4714 to sojourn לָג֣וּר H1481 שָׁ֔ם H8033 כִּֽי H3588 was grievous כָבֵ֥ד H3515 And there was a famine said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto Sarai שָׂרַ֣י H8297 his wife אִשָּׁ֥ה H802 Behold הִנֵּה H2009 now נָ֣א H4994 I know יָדַ֔עְתִּי H3045 כִּ֛י H3588 his wife אִשָּׁ֥ה H802 that thou art a fair יְפַת H3303 to look upon מַרְאֶ֖ה H4758 אָֽתְּ׃ H859 12 וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 כִּֽי H3588 shall see יִרְא֤וּ H7200 אֹתָךְ֙ H853 Therefore it shall come to pass when the Egyptians הַמִּצְרִ֔ים H4713 thee that they shall say וְאָֽמְר֖וּ H559 This is his wife אִשְׁתּ֣וֹ H802 זֹ֑את H2063 and they will kill וְהָֽרְג֥וּ H2026 אֹתִ֖י H853 וְאֹתָ֥ךְ H853 me but they will save thee alive יְחַיּֽוּ׃ H2421 13 Say אִמְרִי וַיִּרְא֤וּ H7200 the Egyptians הַמִּצְרִים֙ H4713 אֶת H853 the woman הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה H802 כִּֽי H3588 fair יָפָ֥ה H3303 הִ֖וא H1931 that she was very מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 15 saw וַיִּרְא֤וּ H7200 אֹתָהּ֙ H853 The princes שָׂרֵ֣י H8269 Pharaoh פַּרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 her and commended וַיְהַֽלְל֥וּ H1984 אֹתָ֖הּ H853 her before אֶל H413 Pharaoh פַּרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 was taken וַתֻּקַּ֥ח H3947 and the woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה H802 house בֵּ֥ית H1004 Pharaoh פַּרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 16 Abram וּלְאַבְרָ֥ם H87 And he entreated הֵיטִ֖יב H3190 בַּֽעֲבוּרָ֑הּ H5668 וַֽיְהִי H1961 ל֤וֹ H0 for her sake and he had sheep צֹאן H6629 and oxen וּבָקָר֙ H1241 and he asses וַֽחֲמֹרִ֔ים H2543 and menservants וַֽעֲבָדִים֙ H5650 and maidservants וּשְׁפָחֹ֔ת H8198 and she asses וַֽאֲתֹנֹ֖ת H860 and camels וּגְמַלִּֽים׃ H1581 17 plagued וַיְנַגַּ֨ע H5060 And the LORD יְהוָ֧ה׀ H3068 אֶת H853 Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֛ה H6547 plagues נְגָעִ֥ים H5061 with great גְּדֹלִ֖ים H1419 וְאֶת H853 and his house בֵּית֑וֹ H1004 עַל H5921 because of דְּבַ֥ר H1697 Sarai שָׂרַ֖י H8297 wife אֵ֥שֶׁת H802 Abram's אַבְרָֽם׃ H87 18 called וַיִּקְרָ֤א H7121 And Pharaoh פַרְעֹה֙ H6547 Abram לְאַבְרָ֔ם H87 and said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 מַה H4100 זֹּ֖את H2063 What is this that thou hast done עָשִׂ֣יתָ H6213 לִּ֑י H0 לָ֚מָּה H4100 לֹֽא H3808 unto me why didst thou not tell הִגַּ֣דְתָּ H5046 לִּ֔י H0 כִּ֥י H3588 me that she was thy wife אִשְׁתְּךָ֖ H802 הִֽוא׃ H1931
