the years שְׁנֵ֖י H8141 of the life חַיֵּ֥י H2416 And Sarah שָׂרָֽה׃ H8283 2 died וַתָּ֣מָת H4191 And Sarah לְשָׂרָ֖ה H8283 בְּקִרְיַ֥ת H0 in Kirjatharba אַרְבַּ֛ע H7153 הִ֥וא H1931 the same is Hebron חֶבְר֖וֹן H2275 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנָ֑עַן H3667 came וַיָּבֹא֙ H935 and Abraham אַבְרָהָ֔ם H85 to mourn לִסְפֹּ֥ד H5594 And Sarah לְשָׂרָ֖ה H8283 and to weep וְלִבְכֹּתָֽהּ׃ H1058 3 stood up וַיָּ֙קָם֙ H6965 And Abraham אַבְרָהָ֔ם H85 מֵעַ֖ל H5921 from before פְּנֵ֣י H6440 his dead מֵת֑וֹ H4191 and spake וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 אֶל H413 unto the sons בְּנֵי H1121 of Heth חֵ֖ת H2845 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 4 I am a stranger גֵּר H1616 and a sojourner וְתוֹשָׁ֥ב H8453 אָֽנֹכִ֖י H595 עִמָּכֶ֑ם H5973 with you give תְּנ֨וּ H5414 לִ֤י H0 me a possession אֲחֻזַּת H272 of a buryingplace worth מָלֵ֜א H4392 That he may give יִתְּנֶ֥נָּה H5414 לִ֛י H0 amongst you בְּתֽוֹכְכֶ֖ם H8432 me for a possession לַֽאֲחֻזַּת H272 of a buryingplace קָֽבֶר׃ H6913 10 And Ephron עֶפְר֨וֹן H6085 dwelt יֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 among בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 of the children בְנֵי H1121 of Heth חֵ֔ת H2845 answered וַיַּעַן֩ H6030 And Ephron עֶפְר֨וֹן H6085 the Hittite הַֽחִתִּ֤י H2850 אֶת H853 Abraham אַבְרָהָם֙ H85 in the audience בְּאָזְנֵ֣י H241 of the children בְנֵי H1121 of Heth חֵ֔ת H2845 לְכֹ֛ל H3605 even of all that went in בָּאֵ֥י H935 at the gate שַֽׁעַר H8179 of his city עִיר֖וֹ H5892 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 11 Nay לֹֽא H3808 my lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 hear me שְׁמָעֵ֔נִי H8085 the field הַשָּׂדֶה֙ H7704 give נְתַתִּ֥יהָ H5414 לָ֔ךְ H0 thee and the cave וְהַמְּעָרָ֥ה H4631 אֲשֶׁר H834 בּ֖וֹ H0 לְךָ֣ H0 give נְתַתִּ֥יהָ H5414 thee in the presence לְעֵינֵ֧י H5869 of the sons בְנֵֽי H1121 of my people עַמִּ֛י H5971 give נְתַתִּ֥יהָ H5414 לָּ֖ךְ H0 I it thee bury קְבֹ֥ר H6912 thy dead מֵתֶֽךָ׃ H4191 12 bowed down וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ H7812 And Abraham אַבְרָהָ֔ם H85 himself before לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 the people עַ֥ם H5971 of the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 13 And he spake וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר H1696 אֶל H413 unto Ephron עֶפְר֜וֹן H6085 in the audience בְּאָזְנֵ֤י H241 of the people עַם H5971 of the land הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 אַ֛ךְ H389 אִם H518 אַתָּ֥ה H859 But if thou wilt give it I pray thee ל֖וּ H3863 hear שְׁמָעֵ֑נִי H8085 me I will give נָתַ֜תִּי H5414 thee money כֶּ֤סֶף H3701 for the field הַשָּׂדֶה֙ H7704 take קַ֣ח H3947 מִמֶּ֔נִּי H4480 it of me and I will bury וְאֶקְבְּרָ֥ה H6912 אֶת H853 my dead מֵתִ֖י H4191 שָֽׁמָּה׃ H8033 14 answered וַיַּ֧עַן H6030 And Ephron עֶפְר֛וֹן H6085 אֶת H853 Abraham אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 saying לֵאמֹ֥ר H559 לֽוֹ׃ H0 15 My lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 hearken שְׁמָעֵ֔נִי H8085 unto me the land אֶרֶץ֩ H776 is worth four אַרְבַּ֨ע H702 hundred מֵאֹ֧ת H3967 shekels שֶֽׁקֶל H8255 of silver כֶּ֛סֶף H3701 what is that betwixt וּבֵֽינְךָ֖ H996 what is that betwixt וּבֵֽינְךָ֖ H996 מַה H4100 הִ֑וא H1931 וְאֶת H853 therefore thy dead מֵֽתְךָ֖ H4191 me and thee bury קְבֹֽר׃ H6912 16 hearkened וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע H8085 And Abraham אַבְרָהָם֙ H85 אֶל H413 to Ephron לְעֶפְרֹ֔ן H6085 weighed וַיִּשְׁקֹ֤ל H8254 And Abraham אַבְרָהָם֙ H85 to Ephron לְעֶפְרֹ֔ן H6085 אֶת H853 of silver כֶּ֔סֶף H3701 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which he had named דִּבֶּ֖ר H1696 in the audience בְּאָזְנֵ֣י H241 of the sons בְנֵי H1121 of Heth חֵ֑ת H2845 four אַרְבַּ֤ע H702 hundred מֵאוֹת֙ H3967 shekels שֶׁ֣קֶל H8255 of silver כֶּ֔סֶף H3701 current עֹבֵ֖ר H5674 money with the merchant לַסֹּחֵֽר׃ H5503 17 were made sure וַיָּ֣קָם׀ H6965 And the field בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה H7704 of Ephron עֶפְר֗וֹן H6085 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 which was in Machpelah בַּמַּכְפֵּלָ֔ה H4375 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which was before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 Mamre מַמְרֵ֑א H4471 And the field בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה H7704 and the cave וְהַמְּעָרָ֣ה H4631 אֲשֶׁר H834 בּ֔וֹ H0 וְכָל H3605 which was therein and all the trees הָעֵץ֙ H6086 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 And the field בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה H7704 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 בְּכָל H3605 that were in all the borders גְּבֻל֖וֹ H1366 round about סָבִֽיב׃ H5439 18 Unto Abraham לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם H85 for a possession לְמִקְנָ֖ה H4736 in the presence לְעֵינֵ֣י H5869 of the children בְנֵי H1121 of Heth חֵ֑ת H2845 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 before all that went in בָּאֵ֥י H935 at the gate שַֽׁעַר H8179 of his city עִירֽוֹ׃ H5892 19 And after וְאַֽחֲרֵי H310 this כֵן֩ H3651 buried קָבַ֨ר H6912 Abraham אַבְרָהָ֜ם H85 אֶת H853 Sarah שָׂרָ֣ה H8283 his wife אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ H802 אֶל H413 in the cave מְעָרַ֞ת H4631 of the field שְׂדֵ֧ה H7704 of Machpelah הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה H4375 עַל H5921 before פְּנֵ֥י H6440 Mamre מַמְרֵ֖א H4471 הִ֣וא H1931 the same is Hebron חֶבְר֑וֹן H2275 in the land בְּאֶ֖רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנָֽעַן׃ H3667 20 that is therein were made sure וַיָּ֨קָם H6965 And the
