הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 אָֽנֹכִ֥י H595 Behold I stand נִצָּ֖ב H5324 עַל H5921 here by the well עֵ֣ין H5869 of water מָֽיִם׃ H4325 and the daughters וּבְנוֹת֙ H1323 אַנְשֵׁ֣י H376 of the city הָעִ֔יר H5892 come כִּלָּ֣ה H3615 speaking לְדַבֵּר֒ H1696 וְהִנֵּ֧ה H2009 that behold Rebekah רִבְקָ֣ה H7259 came out יֹצֵ֗את H3318 who אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 was born יֻלְּדָה֙ H3205 to Bethuel לִבְתוּאֵ֣ל H1328 son בֶּן H1121 of Milcah מִלְכָּ֔ה H4435 the wife אֵ֥שֶׁת H802 of Nahor נָח֖וֹר H5152 brother אֲחִ֣י H251 Abraham's אַבְרָהָ֑ם H85 with her pitcher וְכַדָּ֖הּ H3537 עַל H5921 upon her shoulder שִׁכְמָֽהּ׃ H7926 16 And the damsel וְהַֽנַּעֲרָ֗ H5291 fair טֹבַ֤ת H2896 to look upon מַרְאֶה֙ H4758 was very מְאֹ֔ד H3966 a virgin בְּתוּלָ֕ה H1330 neither had any man וְאִ֖ישׁ H376 לֹ֣א H3808 known יְדָעָ֑הּ H3045 her and she went down וַתֵּ֣רֶד H3381 to the well הָעַ֔יְנָה H5869 and filled וַתְּמַלֵּ֥א H4390 her pitcher כַדָּ֖הּ H3537 and came up וַתָּֽעַל׃ H5927 17 ran וַיָּ֥רָץ H7323 And the servant הָעֶ֖בֶד H5650 to meet her לִקְרָאתָ֑הּ H7125 and said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Let me I pray thee drink הַגְמִיאִ֥ינִי H1572 נָ֛א H4994 a little מְעַט H4592 water מַ֖יִם H4325 of thy pitcher מִכַּדֵּֽךְ׃ H3537 18 And she said וַתֹּ֖אמֶר H559 Drink שְׁתֵ֣ה H8354 my lord אֲדֹנִ֑י H113 and she hasted וַתְּמַהֵ֗ר H4116 and let down וַתֹּ֧רֶד H3381 her pitcher כַּדָּ֛הּ H3537 עַל H5921 upon her hand יָדָ֖הּ H3027 and gave him drink וַתַּשְׁקֵֽהוּ׃ H8248 19 And when she had done כִּלּ֖וּ H3615 giving him drink לְהַשְׁקֹת֑וֹ H8248 she said וַתֹּ֗אמֶר H559 גַּ֤ם H1571 water for thy camels לִגְמַלֶּ֙יךָ֙ H1581 I will draw אֶשְׁאָ֔ב H7579 עַ֥ד H5704 אִם H518 And when she had done כִּלּ֖וּ H3615 drinking לִשְׁתֹּֽת׃ H8354 20 And she hasted וַתְּמַהֵ֗ר H4116 and emptied וַתְּעַ֤ר H6168 her pitcher כַּדָּהּ֙ H3537 אֶל H413 into the trough הַשֹּׁ֔קֶת H8268 and ran וַתָּ֥רָץ H7323 ע֛וֹד H5750 אֶֽל H413 again unto the well הַבְּאֵ֖ר H875 to draw וַתִּשְׁאַ֖ב H7579 to draw וַתִּשְׁאַ֖ב H7579 לְכָל H3605 for all his camels גְּמַלָּֽיו׃ H1581 21 And the man וְהָאִ֥ישׁ H376 wondering מִשְׁתָּאֵ֖ה H7583 לָ֑הּ H0 at her held his peace מַֽחֲרִ֕ישׁ H2790 to wit לָדַ֗עַת H3045 had made הַֽהִצְלִ֧יחַ H6743 whether the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 his journey דַּרְכּ֖וֹ H1870 or אִם H518 לֹֽא׃ H3808 22 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 had done כִּלּ֤וּ H3615 And it came to pass as the camels הַגְּמַלִּים֙ H1581 drinking לִשְׁתּ֔וֹת H8354 took וַיִּקַּ֤ח H3947 that the man הָאִישׁ֙ H376 earring נֶ֣זֶם H5141 a golden זָהָ֖ב H2091 of half a shekel בֶּ֖קַע H1235 shekels weight מִשְׁקָלָֽם׃ H4948 and two וּשְׁנֵ֤י H8147 bracelets צְמִידִים֙ H6781 עַל H5921 for her hands יָדֶ֔יהָ H3027 of ten עֲשָׂרָ֥ה H6235 a golden זָהָ֖ב H2091 shekels weight מִשְׁקָלָֽם׃ H4948 23 And said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 daughter בַּת H1323 Whose מִ֣י H4310 art thou אַ֔תְּ H859 tell הַגִּ֥ידִי H5046 נָ֖א H4994 לִ֑י H0 me I pray thee is there הֲיֵ֧שׁ H3426 house בֵּית H1004 in thy father's אָבִ֛יךְ H1 room מָק֥וֹם H4725 לָ֖נוּ H0 for us to lodge in לָלִֽין׃ H3885 24 And she said וַתֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֔יו H413 unto him I am the daughter בַּת H1323 of Bethuel בְּתוּאֵ֖ל H1328 אָנֹ֑כִי H595 the son בֶּן H1121 of Milcah מִלְכָּ֕ה H4435 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which she bare יָֽלְדָ֖ה H3205 unto Nahor לְנָחֽוֹר׃ H5152 25 She said וַתֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֔יו H413 and גַּם H1571 straw תֶּ֥בֶן H8401 and גַּם H1571 and provender מִסְפּ֖וֹא H4554 enough רַ֣ב H7227 עִמָּ֑נוּ H5973 and גַּם H1571 room מָק֖וֹם H4725 to lodge in לָלֽוּן׃ H3885 26 bowed down his head וַיִּקֹּ֣ד H6915 And the man הָאִ֔ישׁ H376 and worshipped וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ H7812 the LORD לַֽיהוָֽה׃ H3068 27 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 Blessed בָּר֤וּךְ H1288 be the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵי֙ H430 my master אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 Abraham אַבְרָהָ֔ם H85 אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 לֹֽא H3808 who hath not left destitute עָזַ֥ב H5800 of his mercy חַסְדּ֛וֹ H2617 and his truth וַֽאֲמִתּ֖וֹ H571 מֵעִ֣ם H5973 my master אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 אָֽנֹכִ֗י H595 I being in the way בַּדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ H1870 led me נָחַ֣נִי H5148 be the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to the house בֵּ֖ית H1004 brethren אֲחֵ֥י H251 my master אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 28 ran וַתָּ֙רָץ֙ H7323 And the damsel הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ H5291 and told וַתַּגֵּ֖ד H5046 house לְבֵ֣ית H1004 them of her mother's אִמָּ֑הּ H517 these things כַּדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 29 And Rebekah וּלְרִבְקָ֥ה H7259 had a brother אָ֖ח H251 and his name וּשְׁמ֣וֹ H8034 and Laban לָבָ֧ן H3837 ran וַיָּ֨רָץ H7323 and Laban לָבָ֧ן H3837 אֶל H413 unto the man הָאִ֛ישׁ H376 out הַח֖וּצָה H2351 אֶל H413 unto the well הָעָֽיִן׃ H5869 30 וַיְהִ֣י׀ H1961 And it came to pass when he saw כִּרְאֹ֣ת H7200 אֶת H853 the earring הַנֶּ֗זֶם H5141 וְֽאֶת H853 and bracelets הַצְּמִדִים֮ H6781 by עַל H5921 hands יְדֵ֣י H3027 his sister אֲחֹתוֹ֙ H269 and when he heard וּכְשָׁמְע֗וֹ H8085 אֶת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֞י H1697 of Rebekah רִבְקָ֤ה H7259 his sister אֲחֹתוֹ֙ H269 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 Thus כֹּֽה H3541 spake דִבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֵלַ֖י H413 the man הָאִ֔ישׁ H376 unto me that he came וַיָּבֹא֙ H935 אֶל H413 the man הָאִ֔ישׁ H376 וְהִנֵּ֛ה H2009 and behold he stood עֹמֵ֥ד H5975 by עַל H5921 the camels הַגְּמַלִּ֖ים H1581 by עַל H5921 at the well הָעָֽיִן׃ H5869 31 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Come in בּ֖וֹא H935 thou blessed בְּר֣וּךְ H1288 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 לָ֤מָּה H4100 wherefore standest תַֽעֲמֹד֙ H5975 thou without בַּח֔וּץ H2351 וְאָֽנֹכִי֙ H595 for I have prepared פִּנִּ֣יתִי H6437 the house הַבַּ֔יִת H1004 and room וּמָק֖וֹם H4725 for the camels לַגְּמַלִּֽים׃ H1581 32 came וַיָּבֹ֤א H935 And the man הָאִישׁ֙ H376 into the house הַבַּ֔יְתָה H1004 and he ungirded וַיְפַתַּ֖ח H6605 for the camels לַגְּמַלִּ֔ים H1581 and gave וַיִּתֵּ֨ן H5414 straw תֶּ֤בֶן H8401 and provender וּמִסְפּוֹא֙ H4554 for the camels לַגְּמַלִּ֔ים H1581 and water וּמַ֙יִם֙ H4325 to wash לִרְחֹ֣ץ H7364 feet וְרַגְלֵ֥י H7272 feet וְרַגְלֵ֥י H7272 and the men's הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֖ים H582 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 אִתּֽוֹ׃ H854 33 וַיּוּשָׂ֤ם H3455 meat before him לְפָנָיו֙ H6440 I will not eat אֹכַ֔ל H398 And he said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 לֹ֣א H3808 I will not eat אֹכַ֔ל H398 עַ֥ד H5704 אִם H518 Speak on דַּבֵּֽר׃ H1696 mine errand דְּבָרָ֑י H1697 And he said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 Speak on דַּבֵּֽר׃ H1696 34 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 servant עֶ֥בֶד H5650 I am Abraham's אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 אָנֹֽכִי׃ H595 35 And the LORD וַֽיהוָ֞ה H3068 hath blessed בֵּרַ֧ךְ H1288 אֶת H853 my master אֲדֹנִ֛י H113 greatly מְאֹ֖ד H3966 and he is become great וַיִּגְדָּ֑ל H1431 and he hath given וַיִּתֶּן H5414 ל֞וֹ H0 flocks צֹ֤אן H6629 and herds וּבָקָר֙ H1241 and silver וְכֶ֣סֶף H3701 and gold וְזָהָ֔ב H2091 and menservants וַֽעֲבָדִם֙ H5650 and maidservants וּשְׁפָחֹ֔ת H8198 and camels וּגְמַלִּ֖ים H1581 and asses וַֽחֲמֹרִֽים׃ H2543 36 bare וַתֵּ֡לֶד H3205 And Sarah שָׂרָה֩ H8283 wife אֵ֨שֶׁת H802 my master's לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 a son בֵן֙ H1121 my master's לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 when אַֽחֲרֵ֖י H310 she was old זִקְנָתָ֑הּ H2209 and unto him hath he given וַיִּתֶּן H5414 לּ֖וֹ H0 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 לֽוֹ׃ H0 37 made me swear וַיַּשְׁבִּעֵ֥נִי H7650 And my master אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 לֹֽא H3808 Thou shalt not take תִקַּ֤ח H3947 a wife אִשָּׁה֙ H802 to my son לִבְנִ֔י H1121 of the daughters מִבְּנוֹת֙ H1323 of the Canaanites הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י H3669 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 אָֽנֹכִ֖י H595 I dwell יֹשֵׁ֥ב H3427 in whose land בְּאַרְצֽוֹ׃ H776 38 But אִם H518 לֹ֧א H3808 אֶל H413 house בֵּית H1004 unto my father's אָבִ֛י H1 תֵּלֵ֖ךְ H1980 וְאֶל H413 and to my kindred מִשְׁפַּחְתִּ֑י H4940 and take וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֥ H3947 a wife אִשָּׁ֖ה H802 unto my son לִבְנִֽי׃ H1121 39 And I said וָֽאֹמַ֖ר H559 אֶל H413 unto my master אֲדֹנִ֑י H113 אֻלַ֛י H194 לֹֽא H3808 תֵלֵ֥ךְ H1980 Peradventure the woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֖ה H802 אַֽחֲרָֽי׃ H310 40 And he said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֑י H413 unto me The LORD יְהוָ֞ה H3068 אֲשֶׁר H834 whom I walk הִתְהַלַּ֣כְתִּי H1980 before לְפָנָ֗יו H6440 will send יִשְׁלַ֨ח H7971 his angel מַלְאָכ֤וֹ H4397 אִתָּךְ֙ H854 with thee and prosper וְהִצְלִ֣יחַ H6743 thy way דַּרְכֶּ֔ךָ H1870 and thou shalt take וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֤ H3947 a wife אִשָּׁה֙ H802 for my son לִבְנִ֔י H1121 of my kindred מִמִּשְׁפַּחְתִּ֖י H4940 house וּמִבֵּ֥ית H1004 and of my father's אָבִֽי׃ H1 41 אָ֤ז H227
