יָֽלְדָ֜ה H3205 whom Hagar הָגָ֧ר H1904 the Egyptian הַמִּצְרִ֛ית H4713 handmaid שִׁפְחַ֥ת H8198 Sarah's שָׂרָ֖ה H8283 Abraham's לְאַבְרָהָֽם׃ H85 13 וְאֵ֗לֶּה H428 And these are the names בִּשְׁמֹתָ֖ם H8034 of the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Ishmael יִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ H3458 And these are the names בִּשְׁמֹתָ֖ם H8034 according to their generations לְתֽוֹלְדֹתָ֑ם H8435 the firstborn בְּכֹ֤ר H1060 of Ishmael יִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ H3458 Nebajoth נְבָיֹ֔ת H5032 and Kedar וְקֵדָ֥ר H6938 and Adbeel וְאַדְבְּאֵ֖ל H110 and Mibsam וּמִבְשָֽׂם׃ H4017 14 And Mishma וּמִשְׁמָ֥ע H4927 and Dumah וְדוּמָ֖ה H1746 and Massa וּמַשָּֽׂא׃ H4854 15 Hadar חֲדַ֣ד H2316 and Tema וְתֵימָ֔א H8485 Jetur יְט֥וּר H3195 Naphish נָפִ֖ישׁ H5305 and Kedemah וָקֵֽדְמָה׃ H6929 16 אֵ֣לֶּה H428 הֵ֞ם H1992 These are the sons בְּנֵ֤י H1121 of Ishmael יִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ H3458 וְאֵ֣לֶּה H428 and these are their names שְׁמֹתָ֔ם H8034 by their towns בְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֖ם H2691 and by their castles וּבְטִֽירֹתָ֑ם H2918 twelve שְׁנֵים H8147 עָשָׂ֥ר H6240 princes נְשִׂיאִ֖ם H5387 according to their nations לְאֻמֹּתָֽם׃ H523 17 וְאֵ֗לֶּה H428 And these are the years שָׁנִ֑ים H8141 of the life חַיֵּ֣י H2416 of Ishmael יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל H3458 an hundred מְאַ֥ת H3967 And these are the years שָׁנִ֑ים H8141 and thirty וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים H7970 And these are the years שָׁנִ֑ים H8141 and seven וְשֶׁ֣בַע H7651 And these are the years שָׁנִ֑ים H8141 and he gave up the ghost וַיִּגְוַ֣ע H1478 and died וַיָּ֔מָת H4191 and was gathered וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף H622 אֶל H413 unto his people עַמָּֽיו׃ H5971 18 And they dwelt וַיִּשְׁכְּנ֨וּ H7931 from Havilah מֵֽחֲוִילָ֜ה H2341 עַד H5704 unto Shur שׁ֗וּר H7793 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 עַל H5921 in the presence פְּנֵ֥י H6440 Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 as thou goest בֹּֽאֲכָ֖ה H935 toward Assyria אַשּׁ֑וּרָה H804 עַל H5921 in the presence פְּנֵ֥י H6440 כָל H3605 of all his brethren אֶחָ֖יו H251 and he died נָפָֽל׃ H5307 19 וְאֵ֛לֶּה H428 And these are the generations תּֽוֹלְדֹ֥ת H8435 Isaac יִצְחָֽק׃ H3327 son בֶּן H1121 Abraham אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 Abraham אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 begat הוֹלִ֥יד H3205 אֶת H853 Isaac יִצְחָֽק׃ H3327 20 וַיְהִ֤י H1961 And Isaac יִצְחָק֙ H3327 old בֶּן H1121 was forty אַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 years שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 when he took בְּקַחְתּ֣וֹ H3947 אֶת H853 Rebekah רִבְקָ֗ה H7259 the daughter בַּת H1323 of Bethuel בְּתוּאֵל֙ H1328 the Syrian הָֽאֲרַמִּ֖י H761 מִפַּדַּ֖ן H0 of Padanaram אֲרָ֑ם H6307 the sister אֲח֛וֹת H269 to Laban לָבָ֥ן H3837 the Syrian הָֽאֲרַמִּ֖י H761 ל֥וֹ H0 to wife לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 21 intreated וַיֵּעָ֤תֶר H6279 And Isaac יִצְחָ֤ק H3327 and the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 for לְנֹ֣כַח H5227 his wife אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ H802 כִּ֥י H3588 because she was barren עֲקָרָ֖ה H6135 הִ֑וא H1931 intreated וַיֵּעָ֤תֶר H6279 לוֹ֙ H0 and the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 conceived וַתַּ֖הַר H2029 of him and Rebekah רִבְקָ֥ה H7259 his wife אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ H802 22 struggled together וַיִּתְרֹֽצֲצ֤וּ H7533 And the children הַבָּנִים֙ H1121 within her בְּקִרְבָּ֔הּ H7130 and she said וַתֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אִם H518 כֵּ֔ן H3651 לָ֥מָּה H4100 If it be so why am I thus זֶּ֖ה H2088 אָנֹ֑כִי H595 וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ H1980 to enquire לִדְרֹ֥שׁ H1875 אֶת H853 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 23 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 לָ֗הּ H0 and two manner וּשְׁנֵ֣י H8147 nations גֹיִים֙ H1471 are in thy womb בְּבִטְנֵ֔ךְ H990 and two manner וּשְׁנֵ֣י H8147 and the one people מִלְאֹ֣ם H3816 from thy bowels in her womb בְּבִטְנָֽהּ׃ H990 25 came out וַיֵּצֵ֤א H3318 And the first הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ H7223 red אַדְמוֹנִ֔י H132 כֻּלּ֖וֹ H3605 garment כְּאַדֶּ֣רֶת H155 all over like an hairy שֵׂעָ֑ר H8181 and they called וַיִּקְרְא֥וּ H7121 his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Esau עֵשָֽׂו׃ H6215 26 And after וְאַֽחֲרֵי H310 כֵ֞ן H3651 out יָצָ֣א H3318 his brother אָחִ֗יו H251 and his hand וְיָד֤וֹ H3027 took hold אֹחֶ֙זֶת֙ H270 heel בַּֽעֲקֵ֣ב H6119 on Esau's עֵשָׂ֔ו H6215 was called וַיִּקְרָ֥א H7121 and his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 and Isaac וְיִצְחָ֛ק H3327 old בֶּן H1121 was threescore שִׁשִּׁ֥ים H8346 years שָׁנָ֖ה H8141 when she bare בְּלֶ֥דֶת H3205 אֹתָֽם׃ H853 27 grew וַֽיִּגְדְּלוּ֙ H1431 And the boys הַנְּעָרִ֔ים H5288 וַיְהִ֣י H1961 and Esau עֵשָׂ֗ו H6215 a man אִ֣ישׁ H376 was a cunning יֹדֵ֥עַ H3045 hunter צַ֖יִד H6718 a man אִ֣ישׁ H376 of the field שָׂדֶ֑ה H7704 and Jacob וְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ H3290 a man אִ֣ישׁ H376 was a plain תָּ֔ם H8535 dwelling יֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 in tents אֹֽהָלִֽים׃ H168 28 loved אֹהֶ֥בֶת H157 And Isaac יִצְחָ֛ק H3327 אֶת H853 Esau עֵשָׂ֖ו H6215 כִּי H3588 of his venison צַ֣יִד H6718 because he did eat בְּפִ֑יו H6310 but Rebekah וְרִבְקָ֖ה H7259 loved אֹהֶ֥בֶת H157 אֶֽת H853 Jacob יַעֲקֹֽב׃ H3290 29 sod וַיָּ֥זֶד H2102 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב H3290 pottage נָזִ֑יד H5138 came וַיָּבֹ֥א H935 and Esau עֵשָׂ֛ו H6215 מִן H4480 from the field הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה H7704 וְה֥וּא H1931 and he was faint עָיֵֽף׃ H5889 30 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And Esau עֵשָׂ֜ו H6215 אֶֽל H413 to Jacob יַעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 Feed הַלְעִיטֵ֤נִי H3938 נָא֙ H4994 me I pray thee with מִן H4480 red הָֽאָדֹם֙ H122 red הָֽאָדֹם֙ H122 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 כִּ֥י H3588 pottage for I am faint עָיֵ֖ף H5889 אָנֹ֑כִי H595 עַל H5921 כֵּ֥ן H3651 called קָרָֽא H7121 therefore was his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Edom אֱדֽוֹם׃ H123 31 said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 Sell מִכְרָ֥ה H4376 me this day כַיּ֛וֹם H3117 אֶת H853 thy birthright בְּכֹֽרָתְךָ֖ H1062 לִֽי׃ H0 32 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Esau עֵשָׂ֔ו H6215 הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 אָֽנֹכִ֥י H595 Behold I am at the point הוֹלֵ֖ךְ H1980 to die לָמ֑וּת H4191 וְלָמָּה H4100 זֶּ֥ה H2088 לִ֖י H0 and what profit shall this birthright בְּכֹרָֽה׃ H1062 33 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Jacob לְיַֽעֲקֹֽב׃ H3290 Swear וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע H7650 לִּי֙ H0 to me this day כַּיּ֔וֹם H3117 Swear וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע H7650 ל֑וֹ H0 unto him and he sold וַיִּמְכֹּ֥ר H4376 אֶת H853 his birthright
