בִּגְדֵ֨י H899 Esau עֵשָׂ֜ו H6215 son בְּנָ֥הּ H1121 of her eldest הַגָּדֹל֙ H1419 goodly הַֽחֲמֻדֹ֔ת H2532 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 אִתָּ֖הּ H854 which were with her in the house בַּבָּ֑יִת H1004 and put them H1121 18 And he came וַיָּבֹ֥א H935 אֶל H413 My father אָבִ֑י H1 and he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 My father אָבִ֑י H1 and he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 הִנֶּ֔נִּי H2009 מִ֥י H4310 אַתָּ֖ה H859 Here am I who art thou my son בְּנִֽי׃ H1121 19 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב H3290 אֶל H413 unto his father אָבִ֗יו H1 אָֽנֹכִי֙ H595 I am Esau עֵשָׂ֣ו H6215 thy firstborn בְּכֹרֶ֔ךָ H1060 I have done עָשִׂ֕יתִי H6213 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 according as thou badest דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ H1696 אֵלָ֑י H413 me arise קֽוּם H6965 נָ֣א H4994 I pray thee sit שְׁבָ֗ה H3427 and eat וְאָכְלָה֙ H398 of my venison מִצֵּידִ֔י H6718 בַּֽעֲב֖וּר H5668 may bless תְּבָרֲכַ֥נִּי H1288 that thy soul נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ H5315 20 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 And Isaac יִצְחָק֙ H3327 אֶל H413 my son בְּנִ֑י H1121 מַה H4100 זֶּ֛ה H2088 it so quickly מִהַ֥רְתָּ H4116 How is it that thou hast found לִמְצֹ֖א H4672 my son בְּנִ֑י H1121 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 כִּ֥י H3588 brought הִקְרָ֛ה H7136 Because the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ H430 it to me לְפָנָֽי׃ H6440 21 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Isaac יִצְחָק֙ H3327 אֶֽל H413 unto Jacob יַעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 Come near גְּשָׁה H5066 נָּ֥א H4994 I pray thee that I may feel וַאֲמֻֽשְׁךָ֖ H4184 son בְּנִ֥י H1121 הַֽאַתָּ֥ה H859 whether thou be my very זֶ֛ה H2088 son בְּנִ֥י H1121 Esau עֵשָׂ֖ו H6215 אִם H518 לֹֽא׃ H3808 22 went near וַיִּגַּ֧שׁ H5066 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 אֶל H413 unto Isaac יִצְחָ֥ק H3327 his father אָבִ֖יו H1 and he felt וַיְמֻשֵּׁ֑הוּ H4959 him and said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 The voice ק֣וֹל H6963 The voice ק֣וֹל H6963 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 are the hands יְדֵ֥י H3027 are the hands יְדֵ֥י H3027 of Esau עֵשָֽׂו׃ H6215 23 וְלֹ֣א H3808 And he discerned הִכִּיר֔וֹ H5234 כִּֽי H3588 הָי֣וּ H1961 hands כִּידֵ֛י H3027 hands כִּידֵ֛י H3027 Esau's עֵשָׂ֥ו H6215 as his brother אָחִ֖יו H251 were hairy שְׂעִרֹ֑ת H8163 so he blessed וַֽיְבָרְכֵֽהוּ׃ H1288 24 And he said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 אַתָּ֥ה H859 זֶ֖ה H2088 Art thou my very son בְּנִ֣י H1121 Esau עֵשָׂ֑ו H6215 And he said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 אָֽנִי׃ H589 25 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 Bring it near וַיַּגֶּשׁ H5066 לִּי֙ H0 to him and he did eat וַיֹּאכַ֔ל H398 venison מִצֵּ֣יד H6718 of my son's בְּנִ֔י H1121 לְמַ֥עַן H4616 may bless תְּבָֽרֶכְךָ֖ H1288 that my soul נַפְשִׁ֑י H5315 Bring it near וַיַּגֶּשׁ H5066 לוֹ֙ H0 to him and he did eat וַיֹּאכַ֔ל H398 and he brought וַיָּ֧בֵא H935 ל֦וֹ H0 him wine יַ֖יִן H3196 and he drank וַיֵּֽשְׁתְּ׃ H8354 26 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֖יו H413 Isaac יִצְחָ֣ק H3327 And his father אָבִ֑יו H1 unto him Come near גְּשָׁה H5066 נָּ֥א H4994 now and kiss וּשְׁקָה H5401 לִּ֖י H0 me my son בְּנִֽי׃ H1121 27 And he came near וַיִּגַּשׁ֙ H5066 and kissed וַיִּשַּׁק H5401 ל֔וֹ H0 him and he smelled וַיָּ֛רַח H7306 אֶת H853 is as the smell כְּרֵ֣יחַ H7381 of his raiment בְּגָדָ֖יו H899 and blessed בֵּרֲכ֖וֹ H1288 him and said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 See רְאֵה֙ H7200 is as the smell כְּרֵ֣יחַ H7381 of my son בְּנִ֔י H1121 is as the smell כְּרֵ֣יחַ H7381 of a field שָׂדֶ֔ה H7704 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and blessed בֵּרֲכ֖וֹ H1288 which the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 28 give וְיִֽתֶּן H5414 לְךָ֙ H0 Therefore God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 thee of the dew מִטַּל֙ H2919 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 and the fatness וּמִשְׁמַנֵּ֖י H4924 of the earth הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 and plenty וְרֹ֥ב H7230 of corn דָּגָ֖ן H1715 and wine וְתִירֹֽשׁ׃ H8492 29 serve יַֽעַבְד֣וּךָ H5647 Let people עַמִּ֗ים H5971 bow down וְיִשְׁתַּחֲוּ֥וּ H7812 לְךָ֙ H0 thee and nations לְאֻמִּ֔ים H3816 to thee be הֱוֵ֤ה H1933 lord גְבִיר֙ H1376 over thy brethren לְאַחֶ֔יךָ H251 bow down וְיִשְׁתַּחֲוּ֥וּ H7812 לְךָ֖ H0 sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 and let thy mother's אִמֶּ֑ךָ H517 be every one that curseth אָר֔וּר H779 be every one that curseth אָר֔וּר H779 be he that blesseth בָּרֽוּךְ׃ H1288 be he that blesseth בָּרֽוּךְ׃ H1288 30 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 had made an end כִּלָּ֣ה H3615 And it came to pass as soon as Isaac יִצְחָ֣ק H3327 of blessing לְבָרֵ֣ךְ H1288 אֶֽת H853 Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 was yet אַ֣ךְ H389 gone out יָצָא֙ H3318 gone out יָצָא֙ H3318 Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 מֵאֵ֥ת H853 from the presence פְּנֵ֖י H6440 And it came to pass as soon as Isaac יִצְחָ֣ק H3327 his father אָבִ֑יו H1 that Esau וְעֵשָׂ֣ו H6215 his brother אָחִ֔יו H251 came in בָּ֖א H935 from his hunting מִצֵּידֽוֹ׃ H6718 31 And he also had made וַיַּ֤עַשׂ H6213 גַּם H1571 הוּא֙ H1931 savoury meat מַטְעַמִּ֔ים H4303 and brought it וַיָּבֵ֖א H935 Let my father אָבִי֙ H1 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 Let my father אָבִי֙ H1 arise יָקֻ֤ם H6965 Let my father אָבִי֙ H1 and eat וְיֹאכַל֙ H398 venison מִצֵּ֣יד H6718 of his son's בְּנ֔וֹ H1121 בַּֽעֲבֻ֖ר H5668 may bless תְּבָרֲכַ֥נִּי H1288 that thy soul נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ H5315 32 said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 ל֛וֹ H0 And Isaac יִצְחָ֥ק H3327 his father אָבִ֖יו H1 מִי H4310 אָ֑תָּה H859 said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 אֲנִ֛י H589 I am thy son בִּנְךָ֥ H1121 thy firstborn בְכֹֽרְךָ֖ H1060 Esau עֵשָֽׂו׃ H6215 33 trembled וַיֶּֽחֱרַ֨ד H2729 And Isaac יִצְחָ֣ק H3327 חֲרָדָה֮ H2731 very גְּדֹלָ֣ה H1419 עַד H5704 exceedingly מְאֹד֒ H3966 and said וַיֹּ֡אמֶר H559 מִֽי H4310 Who where אֵפ֡וֹא H645 ה֣וּא H1931 is he that hath taken הַצָּֽד H6679 venison צַיִד֩ H6718 and brought תָּב֖וֹא H935 לִ֜י H0 it me and I have eaten וָֽאֹכַ֥ל H398 מִכֹּ֛ל H3605 בְּטֶ֥רֶם H2962 and brought תָּב֖וֹא H935 and have blessed בָּר֖וּךְ H1288 גַּם H1571 and have blessed בָּר֖וּךְ H1288 יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ H1961 34 heard כִּשְׁמֹ֤עַ H8085 And when Esau עֵשָׂו֙ H6215 אֶת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 me even me also O my father אָבִֽי׃ H1 he cried וַיִּצְעַ֣ק H6817 cry צְעָקָ֔ה H6818 with a great גְּדֹלָ֥ה H1419 bitter וּמָרָ֖ה H4751 עַד H5704 and exceeding מְאֹ֑ד H3966 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 me even me also O my father אָבִֽי׃ H1 Bless בָּרֲכֵ֥נִי H1288 גַם H1571 אָ֖נִי H589 me even me also O my father אָבִֽי׃ H1 35 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 came בָּ֥א H935 Thy brother אָחִ֖יךָ H251 with subtilty בְּמִרְמָ֑ה H4820 and hath taken away וַיִּקַּ֖ח H3947 thy blessing בִּרְכָתֶֽךָ׃ H1293 36 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֕ר H559 Is not he rightly הֲכִי֩ H3588 named קָרָ֨א H7121 שְׁמ֜וֹ H8034 Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 for he hath supplanted me וַֽיַּעְקְבֵ֙נִי֙ H6117 these זֶ֣ה H2088 two times פַֽעֲמַ֔יִם H6471 אֶת H853 my birthright בְּכֹֽרָתִ֣י H1062 and behold now he hath taken away לָקַ֣ח H3947 וְהִנֵּ֥ה H2009 עַתָּ֖ה H6258 and behold now he hath taken away לָקַ֣ח H3947 a blessing בְּרָכָֽה׃ H1293 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֕ר H559 הֲלֹֽא H3808 Hast thou not reserved אָצַ֥לְתָּ H680 לִּ֖י H0 a blessing בְּרָכָֽה׃ H1293 37 answered וַיַּ֨עַן H6030 And Isaac יִצְחָ֜ק H3327 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 unto Esau לְעֵשָׂ֗ו H6215 הֵ֣ן H2005 him thy lord גְּבִ֞יר H1376 Behold I have made שַׂמְתִּ֥יו H7760 לָךְ֙ H0 וְאֶת H853 כָּל H3605 and all his brethren אֶחָ֗יו H251 have I given נָתַ֤תִּי H5414 לוֹ֙ H0 to him for servants לַֽעֲבָדִ֔ים H5650 and with corn וְדָגָ֥ן H1715 and wine וְתִירֹ֖שׁ H8492 have I sustained סְמַכְתִּ֑יו H5564 וּלְכָ֣ה H0 now אֵפ֔וֹא H645 מָ֥ה H4100 him and what shall I do אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה H6213 unto thee my son בְּנִֽי׃ H1121 38 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And Esau עֵשָׂ֛ו H6215 אֶל H413 me even me also O my father אָבִ֑י H1 blessing הַֽבְרָכָ֨ה H1293 Hast thou but one אַחַ֤ת H259 הִֽוא H1931 לְךָ֙ H0 me even me also O my father אָבִ֑י H1 bless בָּרֲכֵ֥נִי H1288 גַם H1571 אָ֖נִי H589 me even me also O my father אָבִ֑י H1 lifted up וַיִּשָּׂ֥א H5375 And Esau עֵשָׂ֛ו H6215 his voice קֹל֖וֹ H6963 and wept וַיֵּֽבְךְּ׃ H1058 39 answered וַיַּ֛עַן H6030 And Isaac יִצְחָ֥ק H3327 his father אָבִ֖יו H1 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֑יו H413 הִנֵּ֞ה H2009 shall be the fatness מִשְׁמַנֵּ֤י H4924 of the earth הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 יִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 unto him Behold thy dwelling מֽוֹשָׁבֶ֔ךָ H4186 and of the dew וּמִטַּ֥ל H2919 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם H8064 from above מֵעָֽל׃ H5920 40 וְעַל H5921 And by thy sword חַרְבְּךָ֣ H2719 shalt thou live תִֽחְיֶ֔ה H2421 וְאֶת H853 thy brother אָחִ֖יךָ H251 and shalt serve תַּֽעֲבֹ֑ד H5647 וְהָיָה֙ H1961 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion תָּרִ֔יד H7300 that thou shalt break וּפָֽרַקְתָּ֥ H6561 his yoke עֻלּ֖וֹ H5923 מֵעַ֥ל H5921 from off thy neck צַוָּארֶֽךָ׃ H6677 41 hated וַיִּשְׂטֹ֤ם H7852 And Esau עֵשָׂ֜ו H6215 אֶֽת H853 Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֥ב H3290 because עַל H5921 of the blessing הַ֨בְּרָכָ֔ה H1293 wherewith אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 blessed him בֵּרֲכ֖וֹ H1288 for my father אָבִ֔י
