וַיִּתְחַבֵּ֨א H2244 and Adam הָֽאָדָ֜ם H120 and his wife וְאִשְׁתּ֗וֹ H802 from the presence מִפְּנֵי֙ H6440 of the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 amongst בְּת֖וֹךְ H8432 the trees עֵ֥ץ H6086 in the garden הַגָּֽן׃ H1588 9 called וַיִּקְרָ֛א H7121 And the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 אֶל H413 unto Adam הָֽאָדָ֑ם H120 and said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 ל֖וֹ H0 unto him Where art thou אַיֶּֽכָּה׃ H335 10 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 אֶת H853 thy voice קֹלְךָ֥ H6963 I heard שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי H8085 in the garden בַּגָּ֑ן H1588 and I was afraid וָאִירָ֛א H3372 כִּֽי H3588 was naked עֵירֹ֥ם H5903 because I אָנֹ֖כִי H595 and I hid myself וָאֵחָבֵֽא׃ H2244 11 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Who מִ֚י H4310 told הִגִּ֣יד H5046 לְךָ֔ H0 כִּ֥י H3588 thee that thou wast naked עֵירֹ֖ם H5903 אָ֑תָּה What is this that thou hast done עָשִׂ֑ית H6213 said וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 And the woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה H802 The serpent הַנָּחָ֥שׁ H5175 beguiled me הִשִּׁיאַ֖נִי H5377 and I did eat וָאֹכֵֽל׃ H398 14 said וַיֹּאמֶר֩ H559 And the LORD יְהוָֹ֨ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֥ים׀ H430 אֶֽל H413 unto the serpent הַנָּחָשׁ֮ H5175 כִּ֣י H3588 hast done עָשִׂ֣יתָ H6213 זֹּאת֒ H2063 this thou art cursed אָר֤וּר H779 Because children בָנִ֑ים H1121 וְאֶל H413 shall be to thy husband אִישֵׁךְ֙ H376 and thy desire תְּשׁ֣וּקָתֵ֔ךְ H8669 וְה֖וּא H1931 and he shall rule יִמְשָׁל H4910 בָּֽךְ׃ H0 17 And unto Adam וּלְאָדָ֣ם H121 he said לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 כִּֽי H3588 Because thou hast hearkened שָׁמַעְתָּ֮ H8085 unto the voice לְק֣וֹל H6963 of thy wife אִשְׁתֶּךָ֒ H802 Thou shalt not eat תֹּֽאכֲלֶ֔נָּה H398 מִן H4480 of the tree הָעֵ֔ץ H6086 of which אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 I commanded thee צִוִּיתִ֙יךָ֙ H6680 he said לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 לֹ֥א H3808 Thou shalt not eat תֹּֽאכֲלֶ֔נָּה H398 מִמֶּ֑נּוּ H4480 of it cursed אֲרוּרָ֤ה H779 is the הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ H7704 19 In the sweat בְּזֵעַ֤ת H2188 of thy face אַפֶּ֙יךָ֙ H639 shalt thou eat תֹּ֣אכַל H398 bread לֶ֔חֶם H3899 till עַ֤ד H5704 shalt thou return תָּשֽׁוּב׃ H7725 אֶל H413 unto the H6083 shalt thou return תָּשֽׁוּב׃ H7725 20 called וַיִּקְרָ֧א H7121 And Adam הָֽאָדָ֛ם H120 name שֵׁ֥ם H8034 his wife's אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ H802 Eve חַוָּ֑ה H2332 כִּ֛י H3588 הִ֥וא H1931 הָֽיְתָ֖ה H1961 because she was the mother אֵ֥ם H517 כָּל H3605 of all living חָֽי׃ H2416 21 make וַיַּעַשׂ֩ H6213 did the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֜ים H430 Unto Adam לְאָדָ֧ם H120 also and to his wife וּלְאִשְׁתּ֛וֹ H802 coats כָּתְנ֥וֹת H3801 of skins ע֖וֹר H5785 and clothed them וַיַּלְבִּשֵֽׁם׃ H3847 22 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀ H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֗ים H430 Behold הֵ֤ן H2005 the man הָֽאָדָם֙ H120 הָיָה֙ H1961 is become as one כְּאַחַ֣ד H259 מִמֶּ֔נּוּ H4480 of us to know לָדַ֖עַת H3045 good ט֣וֹב H2896 and evil וָרָ֑ע H7451 וְעַתָּ֣ה׀ H6258 פֶּן H6435 and now lest he put forth יִשְׁלַ֣ח H7971 his hand יָד֗וֹ H3027 and take וְלָקַח֙ H3947 גַּ֚ם H1571 also of the tree מֵעֵ֣ץ H6086 of life הַֽחַיִּ֔ים H2416 and eat וְאָכַ֖ל H398 and live וָחַ֥י H2425 for ever לְעֹלָֽם׃ H5769 23 sent him forth וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֵ֛הוּ H7971 Therefore the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 from the garden מִגַּן H1588 of Eden עֵ֑דֶן H5731 to till לַֽעֲבֹד֙ H5647 אֶת H853 the ground הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה H127 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 from whence he was taken לֻקַּ֖ח H3947 מִשָּֽׁם׃ H8033 24 So he drove out וַיְגָ֖רֶשׁ H1644 אֶת H853 the man הָֽאָדָ֑ם H120 and he placed וַיַּשְׁכֵּן֩ H7931 at the east מִקֶּ֨דֶם H6924 of the garden לְגַן H1588 of Eden עֵ֜דֶן H5731 אֶת H853 Cherubims הַכְּרֻבִ֗ים H3742 וְאֵ֨ת H853 and a flaming לַ֤הַט H3858 sword הַחֶ֙רֶב֙ H2719 which turned every way הַמִּתְהַפֶּ֔כֶת H2015 to
