that is Bethel אֵ֑ל H1008 ה֖וּא H1931 וְכָל H3605 he and all the people הָעָ֥ם H5971 אֲשֶׁר H834 עִמּֽוֹ׃ H5973 7 And he built וַיִּ֤בֶן H1129 שָׁם֙ H8033 there an altar מִזְבֵּ֔חַ H4196 and called וַיִּקְרָא֙ H7121 the place לַמָּק֔וֹם H4725 אֵ֖ל H410 בֵּֽית H0 אֵ֑ל H1008 כִּ֣י H3588 שָׁ֗ם H8033 appeared נִגְל֤וּ H1540 אֵלָיו֙ H413 because there God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 unto him when he fled H9000 to thee I will give it אֶתֵּ֥ן H5414 and to thy seed וּֽלְזַרְעֲךָ֥ H2233 after thee אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ H310 to thee I will give it אֶתֵּ֥ן H5414 אֶת H853 And the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 13 went up וַיַּ֥עַל H5927 מֵֽעָלָ֖יו H5921 And God אֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 from him in the place בַּמָּק֖וֹם H4725 אֲשֶׁר H834 where he talked דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אִתּֽוֹ׃ H854 14 set up וַיַּצֵּ֨ב H5324 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב H3290 a pillar מַצֵּבָ֗ה H4676 in the place בַּמָּק֛וֹם H4725 אֲשֶׁר H834 where he talked דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אִתּ֖וֹ H854 with him even a pillar מַצֶּ֣בֶת H4678 of stone אָ֑בֶן H68 and he poured וַיַּסֵּ֤ךְ H5258 עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ H5921 a drink offering נֶ֔סֶךְ H5262 thereon and he poured וַיִּצֹ֥ק H3332 עָלֶ֖יהָ H5921 oil שָֽׁמֶן׃ H8081 15 called וַיִּקְרָ֨א H7121 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב H3290 אֶת H853 the name שֵׁ֣ם H8034 of the place הַמָּק֗וֹם H4725 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 spake דִּבֶּ֨ר H1696 אִתּ֥וֹ H854 שָׁ֛ם H8033 where God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 בֵּֽית H0 with him Bethel אֵֽל׃ H1008 16 And they journeyed וַיִּסְעוּ֙ H5265 מִבֵּ֣ית H0 from Bethel אֵ֔ל H1008 וַֽיְהִי H1961 and there was but ע֥וֹד H5750 a little כִּבְרַת H3530 way הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 to come לָב֣וֹא H935 to Ephrath אֶפְרָ֑תָה H672 labour בְּלִדְתָּֽהּ׃ H3205 and Rachel רָחֵ֖ל H7354 and she had hard וַתְּקַ֥שׁ H7185 labour בְּלִדְתָּֽהּ׃ H3205 17 וַיְהִ֥י H1961 And it came to pass when she was in hard בְהַקְשֹׁתָ֖הּ H7185 labour הַמְיַלֶּ֙דֶת֙ H3205 said וַתֹּ֨אמֶר H559 לָ֤הּ H0 labour הַמְיַלֶּ֙דֶת֙ H3205 אַל H408 unto her Fear תִּ֣ירְאִ֔י H3372 כִּֽי H3588 גַם H1571 זֶ֥ה H2088 לָ֖ךְ H0 not thou shalt have this son בֵּֽן׃ H1121 18 וַיְהִ֞י H1961 was in departing בְּצֵ֤את H3318 And it came to pass as her soul נַפְשָׁהּ֙ H5315 כִּ֣י H3588 for she died מֵ֔תָה H4191 called קָֽרָא H7121 his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 בֶּן H0 Benoni אוֹנִ֑י H1126 but his father וְאָבִ֖יו H1 called קָֽרָא H7121 ל֥וֹ H0 him Benjamin בִנְיָמִֽין׃ H1144 19 died וַתָּ֖מָת H4191 And Rachel רָחֵ֑ל H7354 and was buried וַתִּקָּבֵר֙ H6912 in the way בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ H1870 to Ephrath אֶפְרָ֔תָה H672 הִ֖וא H1931 בֵּ֥ית H0 which is Bethlehem לָֽחֶם׃ H1035 20 set וַיַּצֵּ֧ב H5324 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֛ב H3290 a pillar מַצֵּבָ֖ה H4676 עַל H5921 grave קְבֻֽרַת יִשְׂרָאֵֽ֑ל H3478 in that land בָּאָ֣רֶץ H776 הַהִ֔וא H1931 וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ H1980 that Reuben רְאוּבֵ֔ן H7205 and lay וַיִּשְׁכַּ֕ב֙ H7901 אֶת H853 with Bilhah בִּלְהָ֖ה֙ H1090 concubine פִּילֶ֣גֶשׁ H6370 his father's אָבִ֑֔יו H1 heard וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 And it came to pass when Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽ֑ל H3478 וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ H1961 it Now the sons בְנֵֽי H1121 of Jacob יַעֲקֹ֖ב H3290 were twelve שְׁנֵ֥ים H8147 עָשָֽׂר׃ H6240 23 The sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Leah לֵאָ֔ה H3812 firstborn בְּכ֥וֹר H1060 Jacob's יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב H3290 Reuben רְאוּבֵ֑ן H7205 and Simeon וְשִׁמְעוֹן֙ H8095 and Levi וְלֵוִ֣י H3878 and Judah וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and Issachar וְיִשָּׂשכָ֖ר H3485 and Zebulun וּזְבֻלוּֽן׃ H2074 24 The sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Rachel רָחֵ֔ל H7354 Joseph יוֹסֵ֖ף H3130 and Benjamin וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃ H1144 25 And the sons וּבְנֵ֤י H1121 of Bilhah בִלְהָה֙ H1090 handmaid שִׁפְחַ֣ת H8198 Rachel's רָחֵ֔ל H7354 Dan דָּ֖ן H1835 and Naphtali וְנַפְתָּלִֽי׃ H5321 26 And the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Zilpah זִלְפָּ֛ה H2153 handmaid שִׁפְחַ֥ת H8198 Leah's לֵאָ֖ה H3812 Gad גָּ֣ד H1410 and Asher וְאָשֵׁ֑ר H836 אֵ֚לֶּה H428 And the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Jacob יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב H3290 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which were born יֻלַּד H3205 ל֖וֹ H0 בְּפַדַּ֥ן H0 to him in Padanaram אֲרָֽם׃ H6307 27 came וַיָּבֹ֤א H935 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹב֙ H3290 אֶל H413 and Isaac וְיִצְחָֽק׃ H3327 his father אָבִ֔יו H1 unto Mamre מַמְרֵ֖א H4471 קִרְיַ֣ת H0 unto the city of Arbah הָֽאַרְבַּ֑ע H7153 הִ֣וא H1931 which is Hebron חֶבְר֔וֹן H2275 אֲשֶׁר H834 sojourned גָּֽר H1481 שָׁ֥ם H8033 where Abraham אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 and Isaac וְיִצְחָֽק׃ H3327 28 וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ H1961 And the days יְמֵ֣י H3117 of Isaac יִצְחָ֑ק H3327 were an hundred מְאַ֥ת H3967 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 and fourscore וּשְׁמֹנִ֥ים H8084 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 29 gave up the ghost וַיִּגְוַ֨ע H1478
