עֹשֶׂ֔ה H6213 that the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 to prosper מַצְלִ֥יחַ H6743 in his hand בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ H3027 4 found וַיִּמְצָ֨א H4672 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֥ף H3130 grace חֵ֛ן H2580 in his sight בְּעֵינָ֖יו H5869 for Joseph's יוֹסֵ֑ף H3130 וַיְהִ֞י H1961 and the blessing בִּרְכַּ֤ת H1293 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 בְּכָל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and over all that he had יֶשׁ H3426 ל֔וֹ H0 house בַּבַּ֖יִת H1004 and in the field וּבַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ H7704 6 And he left וַיַּֽעֲזֹ֣ב H5800 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 לוֹ֮ H0 hand בְּיַד H3027 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 וְלֹֽא H3808 and he knew יָדַ֤ע H3045 אִתּוֹ֙ H854 not ought מְא֔וּמָה H3972 כִּ֥י H3588 he had save אִם H518 the bread הַלֶּ֖חֶם H3899 אֲשֶׁר H834 ה֣וּא H1931 which he did eat אוֹכֵ֑ל H398 וַיְהִ֣י H1961 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 person and well וִיפֵ֥ה H3303 was a goodly תֹ֖אַר H8389 person and well וִיפֵ֥ה H3303 favoured מַרְאֶֽה׃ H4758 7 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 And it came to pass after אַחַר֙ H310 these things הַדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 cast וַתִּשָּׂ֧א H5375 wife אֵֽשֶׁת H802 that his master's אֲדֹנָ֛יו H113 אֶת H853 her eyes עֵינֶ֖יהָ H5869 אֶל H413 upon Joseph יוֹסֵ֑ף H3130 and she said וַתֹּ֖אמֶר H559 Lie שִׁכְבָ֥ה H7901 עִמִּֽי׃ H5973 8 But he refused וַיְמָאֵ֓ן׀ H3985 and said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 wife אֵ֣שֶׁת H802 Behold my master אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 הֵ֣ן H2005 Behold my master אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 לֹֽא H3808 wotteth יָדַ֥ע H3045 אִתִּ֖י H854 מַה H4100 not what is with me in the house בַּבָּ֑יִת H1004 וְכֹ֥ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 all that he hath יֶשׁ H3426 ל֖וֹ H0 and he hath committed נָתַ֥ן H5414 to my hand בְּיָדִֽי׃ H3027 9 אֵינֶ֨נּוּ H369 There is none greater הַגְּדֹלָה֙ H1419 in this house בַּבַּ֣יִת H1004 הַזֶּה֮ H2088 מִמֶּנִּי֒ H4480 than I neither וְלֹֽא H3808 hath he kept back חָשַׂ֤ךְ H2820 מִמֶּ֙נִּי֙ H4480 any thing מְא֔וּמָה H3972 כִּ֥י H3588 אִם H518 אוֹתָ֖ךְ H853 from me but thee because בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 thou אַתְּ H859 art his wife אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ H802 וְאֵ֨יךְ H349 how then can I do אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֜ה H6213 wickedness הָֽרָעָ֤ה H7451 There is none greater הַגְּדֹלָה֙ H1419 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 and sin וְחָטָ֖אתִי H2398 against God לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃ H430 10 וַיְהִ֕י H1961 And it came to pass as she spake כְּדַבְּרָ֥הּ H1696 אֶל H413 to Joseph יוֹסֵ֖ף H3130 by day י֑וֹם H3117 by day י֑וֹם H3117 וְלֹֽא H3808 that he hearkened שָׁמַ֥ע H8085 אֵלֶ֛יהָ H413 not unto her to lie לִשְׁכַּ֥ב H7901 by her אֶצְלָ֖הּ H681 לִֽהְי֥וֹת H1961 עִמָּֽהּ׃ H5973 11 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And it came to pass about this time כְּהַיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 that Joseph went וַיָּבֹ֥א H935 of the house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 to do לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 his business מְלַאכְתּ֑וֹ H4399 וְאֵ֨ין H369 and there was none of the men מֵֽאַנְשֵׁ֥י H376 and there was none of the men מֵֽאַנְשֵׁ֥י H376 of the house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 שָׁ֖ם H8033 of the house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 12 And she caught וַתִּתְפְּשֵׂ֧הוּ H8610 him by his garment בִּגְדוֹ֙ H899 saying לֵאמֹ֖ר H559 Lie שִׁכְבָ֣ה H7901 עִמִּ֑י H5973 with me and he left וַיַּֽעֲזֹ֤ב H5800 him by his garment בִּגְדוֹ֙ H899 in her hand בְּיָדָ֔הּ H3027 and fled וַיָּ֖נָס H5127 and got וַיֵּצֵ֥א H3318 him out הַחֽוּצָה׃ H2351 13 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And it came to pass when she saw כִּרְאוֹתָ֔הּ H7200 כִּֽי H3588 that he had left עָזַ֥ב H5800 his garment בִּגְד֖וֹ H899 in her hand בְּיָדָ֑הּ H3027 and was fled וַיָּ֖נָס H5127 forth הַחֽוּצָה׃ H2351 14 That she called וָֽאֶקְרָ֖א H7121 an Hebrew אִ֥ישׁ H376 of her house בֵיתָ֗הּ H1004 and spake לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 לָהֶם֙ H0 and spake לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 See רְא֗וּ H7200 he hath brought in בָּ֤א H935 לָ֛נוּ H0 an Hebrew אִ֥ישׁ H376 עִבְרִ֖י H5680 unto us to mock לְצַ֣חֶק H6711 בָּ֑נוּ H0 he hath brought in בָּ֤א H935 אֵלַי֙ H413 unto me to lie לִשְׁכַּ֣ב H7901 עִמִּ֔י H5973 That she called וָֽאֶקְרָ֖א H7121 voice בְּק֥וֹל H6963 with a loud גָּדֽוֹל׃ H1419 15 וַיְהִ֣י H1961 And it came to pass when he heard כְשָׁמְע֔וֹ H8085 כִּֽי H3588 that I lifted up הֲרִימֹ֥תִי H7311 my voice קוֹלִ֖י H6963 and cried וָֽאֶקְרָ֑א H7121 that he left וַיַּֽעֲזֹ֤ב H5800 his garment בִּגְדוֹ֙ H899 with me אֶצְלִ֔י H681 and fled וַיָּ֖נָס H5127 and got him וַיֵּצֵ֥א H3318 out הַחֽוּצָה׃ H2351 16 And she laid up וַתַּנַּ֥ח H3240 his garment בִּגְד֖וֹ H899 by her אֶצְלָ֑הּ H681 עַד H5704 came בּ֥וֹא H935 until his lord אֲדֹנָ֖יו H113 אֶל H413 home בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ H1004 17 And she spake וַתְּדַבֵּ֣ר H1696 אֵלָ֔יו H413 unto him according to these words כַּדְּבָרִ֥ים H1697 הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 unto us came in הֵבֵ֥אתָ H935 אֵלַ֞י H413 servant הָעֶ֧בֶד H5650 The Hebrew הָֽעִבְרִ֛י H5680 אֲשֶׁר H834 unto us came in הֵבֵ֥אתָ H935 לָּ֖נוּ H0 unto me to mock לְצַ֥חֶק H6711 בִּֽי׃ H0 18 וַיְהִ֕י H1961 And it came to pass as I lifted up כַּֽהֲרִימִ֥י H7311 my voice קוֹלִ֖י H6963 and cried וָֽאֶקְרָ֑א H7121 that he left וַיַּֽעֲזֹ֥ב H5800 his garment בִּגְד֛וֹ H899 with me אֶצְלִ֖י H681 and fled וַיָּ֥נָס H5127 out הַחֽוּצָה׃ H2351 19 וַיְהִי֩ H1961 heard כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ H8085 And it came to pass when his master אֲדֹנָ֜יו H113 אֶת H853 After this manner כַּדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 of his wife אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ H802 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which she spake דִּבְּרָ֤ה H1696 אֵלָיו֙ H413 unto him saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 After this manner כַּדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 did עָ֥שָׂהּ H6213 לִ֖י H0 thy servant עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ H5650 was kindled וַיִּ֖חַר H2734 to me that his wrath אַפּֽוֹ׃ H639 20 took וַיִּקַּח֩ H3947 master אֲדֹנֵ֨י H113 And Joseph's יוֹסֵ֜ף H3130 אֹת֗וֹ H853 him and put him וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֙הוּ֙ H5414 אֶל H413 and he was there in the prison בְּבֵ֥ית H1004 הַסֹּ֔הַר H5470 a place מְק֕וֹם H4725 אֲשֶׁר H834 prisoners אֲסִורֵ֥י H615 where the king's הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 were bound אֲסוּרִ֑ים H631 וַֽיְהִי H1961 שָׁ֖ם H8033 and he was there in the prison בְּבֵ֥ית H1004 הַסֹּֽהַר׃ H5470 21 וַיְהִ֤י H1961 But the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶת H854 was with Joseph יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 and shewed וַיֵּ֥ט H5186 אֵלָ֖יו H413 him mercy חָ֑סֶד H2617 and gave וַיִּתֵּ֣ן H5414 him favour חִנּ֔וֹ H2580 in the sight בְּעֵינֵ֖י H5869 of the keeper שַׂ֥ר H8269 of the prison בֵּית H1004 הַסֹּֽהַר׃ H5470 22 committed וַיִּתֵּ֞ן H5414 And the keeper שַׂ֤ר H8269 of the prison בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 הַסֹּ֙הַר֙ H5470 hand בְּיַד H3027 to Joseph's יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 אֵ֚ת H853 כָּל H3605 all the prisoners הָ֣אֲסִירִ֔ם H615 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 of the prison בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 הַסֹּ֑הַר H5470 וְאֵ֨ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 and whatsoever they did עֹשֶֽׂה׃ H6213 שָׁ֔ם H8033 ה֖וּא H1931 הָיָ֥ה H1961 and whatsoever they did עֹשֶֽׂה׃ H6213 23 אֵ֣ין׀ H369 The keeper שַׂ֣ר H8269 of the prison בֵּית H1004 הַסֹּ֗הַר H5470 looked רֹאֶ֤ה H7200 אֶֽת H853 כָּל H3605 not to any thing מְא֙וּמָה֙ H3972 that was under his hand בְּיָד֔וֹ H3027 בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 because the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 אִתּ֑וֹ H854 וַֽאֲשֶׁר H834 ה֥וּא H1931 was with him and that which he did עֹשֶׂ֖ה H6213 because the LORD יְהוָ֥ה
