מִן H4480 unto me from the ground הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃ H127 11 וְעַתָּ֖ה H6258 And now art thou cursed אָר֣וּר H779 אָ֑תָּה H859 מִן H4480 from the earth הָֽאֲדָמָה֙ H127 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which hath opened פָּצְתָ֣ה H6475 אֶת H853 her mouth פִּ֔יהָ H6310 to receive לָקַ֛חַת H3947 אֶת H853 blood דְּמֵ֥י H1818 thy brother's אָחִ֖יךָ H251 from thy hand מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃ H3027 12 When כִּ֤י H3588 thou tillest תַֽעֲבֹד֙ H5647 אֶת H853 the ground הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה H127 לֹֽא H3808 it shall not henceforth תֹסֵ֥ף H3254 yield תֵּת H5414 unto thee her strength כֹּחָ֖הּ H3581 לָ֑ךְ H0 a fugitive נָ֥ע H5128 and a vagabond וָנָ֖ד H5110 תִּֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 shalt thou be in the earth בָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 13 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And Cain קַ֖יִן H7014 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 is greater גָּד֥וֹל H1419 My punishment עֲוֹנִ֖י H5771 than I can bear מִנְּשֹֽׂא׃ H5375 14 הֵן֩ H2005 Behold thou hast driven me out גֵּרַ֨שְׁתָּ H1644 אֹתִ֜י H853 this day הַיּ֗וֹם H3117 and from מֵעַל֙ H5921 from the face וּמִפָּנֶ֖יךָ H6440 of the earth הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה H127 from the face וּמִפָּנֶ֖יךָ H6440 shall I be hid אֶסָּתֵ֑ר H5641 and it shall come to pass וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 and I shall be a fugitive נָ֤ע H5128 and a vagabond וָנָד֙ H5110 in the earth בָּאָ֔רֶץ H776 and it shall come to pass וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 כָל H3605 that every one that findeth me מֹֽצְאִ֖י H4672 shall slay me יַֽהַרְגֵֽנִי׃ H2026 15 said וַיֹּ֧אמֶר H559 ל֣וֹ H0 And the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 unto him Therefore לָכֵן֙ H3651 כָּל H3605 whosoever slayeth הֹרֵ֣ג H2026 Cain לְקַ֙יִן֙ H7014 on him sevenfold שִׁבְעָתַ֖יִם H7659 vengeance shall be taken יֻקָּ֑ם H5358 set וַיָּ֨שֶׂם H7760 And the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 Cain לְקַ֙יִן֙ H7014 a mark א֔וֹת H226 lest לְבִלְתִּ֥י H1115 him should kill הַכּוֹת H5221 אֹת֖וֹ H853 כָּל H3605 any finding of the other הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית H8145 Zillah צִלָּֽה׃ H6741 20 bare וַתֵּ֥לֶד H3205 And Adah עָדָ֖ה H5711 אֶת H853 Jabal יָבָ֑ל H2989 ה֣וּא H1931 הָיָ֔ה H1961 he was the father אֲבִ֕י H1 of such as dwell יֹשֵׁ֥ב H3427 in tents אֹ֖הֶל H168 and of such as have cattle וּמִקְנֶֽה׃ H4735 21 name וְשֵׁ֥ם H8034 And his brother's אָחִ֖יו H251 was Jubal יוּבָ֑ל H3106 ה֣וּא H1931 הָיָ֔ה H1961 he was the father אֲבִ֕י H1 כָּל H3605 of all such as handle תֹּפֵ֥שׂ H8610 the harp כִּנּ֖וֹר H3658 and organ וְעוּגָֽב׃ H5748 22 And Zillah וְצִלָּ֣ה H6741 גַם H1571 הִ֗וא H1931 she also bare יָֽלְדָה֙ H3205 אֶת H853 תּ֣וּבַל H0 Tubalcain קַ֖יִן H8423 an instructer לֹטֵ֕שׁ H3913 כָּל H3605 of every artificer חֹרֵ֥שׁ H2794 in brass נְחֹ֖שֶׁת H5178 and iron וּבַרְזֶ֑ל H1270 and the sister וַֽאֲח֥וֹת H269 תּֽוּבַל H0 Tubalcain קַ֖יִן H8423 was Naamah נַֽעֲמָֽה׃ H5279 23 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And Lamech לֶ֔מֶךְ H3929 unto his wives נְשֵׁ֣י H802 Adah עָדָ֤ה H5711 and Zillah וְצִלָּה֙ H6741 Hear שְׁמַ֣עַן H8085 my voice קוֹלִ֔י H6963 unto his wives נְשֵׁ֣י H802 And Lamech לֶ֔מֶךְ H3929 hearken הַאְזֵ֖נָּה H238 unto my speech אִמְרָתִ֑י H565 כִּ֣י H3588 אִ֤ישׁ H582 for I have slain הָרַ֙גְתִּי֙ H2026 to my wounding לְפִצְעִ֔י H6482 and a young man וְיֶ֖לֶד H3206 to my hurt לְחַבֻּרָתִֽי׃ H2250 24 If כִּ֥י H3588 sevenfold שִׁבְעָתַ֖יִם H7659 shall be avenged יֻקַּם H5358 Cain קָ֑יִן H7014 truly Lamech וְלֶ֖מֶךְ H3929 seventy שִׁבְעִ֥ים H7657 and sevenfold וְשִׁבְעָֽה׃ H7651 25 knew וַיֵּ֨דַע H3045 אָדָ֥ם H121 again עוֹד֙ H5750 אֶת H853 his wife אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ H802 and she bare וַתֵּ֣לֶד H3205 a son בֵּ֔ן H1121 and called וַתִּקְרָ֥א H7121 אֶת H853 his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Seth שֵׁ֑ת H8352 whom כִּ֥י H3588 said she hath appointed שָֽׁת H7896 לִ֤י H0 For God אֱלֹהִים֙ H430 seed זֶ֣רַע H2233 me
