ass חֲמֹר֔וֹ H2543 and returned וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ H7725 to the city הָעִֽירָה׃ H5892 14 came וַיָּבֹ֨א H935 And Judah יְהוּדָ֤ה H3063 and his brethren וְאֶחָיו֙ H251 house בֵּ֣יתָה H1004 to Joseph's יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 וְה֖וּא H1931 עוֹדֶ֣נּוּ H5750 שָׁ֑ם H8033 for he was yet there and they fell וַיִּפְּל֥וּ H5307 before him לְפָנָ֖יו H6440 on the ground אָֽרְצָה׃ H776 15 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 לָהֶם֙ H0 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֔ף H3130 מָֽה H4100 unto them What deed הַמַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה H4639 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 is this that ye have done עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם H6213 הֲל֣וֹא H3808 wot ye יְדַעְתֶּ֔ם H3045 כִּֽי H3588 as I can certainly יְנַחֵ֛שׁ H5172 as I can certainly יְנַחֵ֛שׁ H5172 not that such a man אִ֖ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 כָּמֹֽנִי׃ H3644 16 What shall we say נֹּאמַר֙ H559 And Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 מַה H4100 What shall we say נֹּאמַר֙ H559 behold we are my lord's לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 מַה H4100 what shall we speak נְּדַבֵּ֖ר H1696 וּמַה H4100 or how shall we clear ourselves נִּצְטַדָּ֑ק H6663 God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים H430 hath found out נִמְצָ֥א H4672 אֶת H853 the iniquity עֲוֹ֣ן H5771 of thy servants עֲבָדִים֙ H5650 הִנֶּנּ֤וּ H2005 of thy servants עֲבָדִים֙ H5650 behold we are my lord's לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 both we God forbid חָלִ֣ילָה H2486 לִּ֔י H0 that I should do מֵֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת H6213 so זֹ֑את H2063 but the man הָאִ֡ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 is found נִמְצָ֨א H4672 the cup הַגָּבִ֜יעַ H1375 in whose hand בְּיָד֗וֹ H3027 ה֚וּא H1931 יִֽהְיֶה H1961 לִּ֣י H0 he shall be my servant עָ֔בֶד H5650 וְאַתֶּ֕ם H859 and as for you get you up עֲל֥וּ H5927 in peace לְשָׁל֖וֹם H7965 אֶל H413 unto your father אֲבִיכֶֽם׃ H1 18 came near וַיִּגַּ֨שׁ H5066 אֵלָ֜יו H413 Then Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 unto him and said וַיֹּאמֶר֮ H559 Oh בִּ֣י H994 in my lord's אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 I pray thee speak יְדַבֶּר H1696 נָ֨א H4994 against thy servant בְּעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ H5650 a word דָבָר֙ H1697 ears בְּאָזְנֵ֣י H241 in my lord's אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 וְאַל H408 burn יִ֥חַר H2734 and let not thine anger אַפְּךָ֖ H639 against thy servant בְּעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ H5650 כִּ֥י H3588 כָמ֖וֹךָ H3644 for thou art even as Pharaoh כְּפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 19 My lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 asked שָׁאַ֔ל H7592 אֶת H853 his servants עֲבָדָ֖יו H5650 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 Have הֲיֵשׁ H3426 לָכֶ֥ם H0 ye a father אָ֖ב H1 אוֹ H176 or a brother אָֽח׃ H251 20 And we said וַנֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 We have יֶשׁ H3426 לָ֙נוּ֙ H0 a father וְאָבִ֥יו H1 an old man זָקֵ֔ן H2205 and a child וְיֶ֥לֶד H3206 of his old age זְקֻנִ֖ים H2208 a little one קָטָ֑ן H6996 and his brother וְאָחִ֨יו H251 is dead מֵ֜ת H4191 and he alone is left וַיִּוָּתֵ֨ר H3498 ה֧וּא H1931 לְבַדּ֛וֹ H905 of his mother לְאִמּ֖וֹ H517 a father וְאָבִ֥יו H1 loveth אֲהֵבֽוֹ׃ H157 21 And thou saidst וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto thy servants עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ H5650 Bring him down הֽוֹרִדֻ֖הוּ H3381 אֵלָ֑י H413 unto me that I may set וְאָשִׂ֥ימָה H7760 mine eyes עֵינִ֖י H5869 עָלָֽיו׃ H5921 22 And we said וַנֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 לֹֽא H3808 cannot יוּכַ֥ל H3201 עַבְדְּךָ֖ H5650 my father אָבִ֑י H1 we told וַנַּ֨גֶּד H5046 ל֔וֹ H0 אֵ֖ת H853 him the words דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 of my lord אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 25 said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 And our father אָבִ֑ינוּ H1 Go again שֻׁ֖בוּ H7725 and buy שִׁבְרוּ H7666 לָ֥נוּ H0 us a little מְעַט H4592 food אֹֽכֶל׃ H400 26 And we said וַנֹּ֕אמֶר H559 לֹ֥א H3808 We cannot נוּכַ֗ל H3201 go down וְיָרַ֔דְנוּ H3381 אִם H518 be יֵשׁ֩ H3426 brother וְאָחִ֥ינוּ H251 if our youngest הַקָּטֹ֖ן H6996 אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ H854 go down וְיָרַ֔דְנוּ H3381 כִּי H3588 לֹ֣א H3808 We cannot נוּכַ֗ל H3201 not see לִרְאוֹת֙ H7200 face פְּנֵ֣י H6440 the אֵלֵ֑ינוּ H413 אַתֶּ֣ם H859 unto us Ye know יְדַעְתֶּ֔ם H3045 כִּ֥י H3588 me two שְׁנַ֖יִם H8147 bare יָֽלְדָה H3205 לִּ֥י H0 that my wife אִשְׁתִּֽי׃ H802 28 went out וַיֵּצֵ֤א H3318 And the one הָֽאֶחָד֙ H259 מֵֽאִתִּ֔י H853 from me and I said וָֽאֹמַ֕ר H559 אַ֖ךְ H389 Surely טֹרָ֑ף H2963 Surely טֹרָ֑ף H2963 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and I saw him רְאִיתִ֖יו H7200 עַד H5704 not since הֵֽנָּה׃ H2008 29 And if ye take וּלְקַחְתֶּ֧ם H3947 גַּם H1571 אֶת H853 זֶ֛ה H2088 this also from מֵעִ֥ם H5973 me פָּנַ֖י H6440 befall him וְקָרָ֣הוּ H7136 and mischief אָס֑וֹן H611 ye shall bring down וְהֽוֹרַדְתֶּ֧ם H3381 אֶת H853 my gray hairs שֵֽׂיבָתִ֛י H7872 with sorrow בְּרָעָ֖ה H7451 to the grave שְׁאֹֽלָה׃ H7585 30 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 Now therefore when I come כְּבֹאִי֙ H935 אֶל H413 to thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֣ H5650 my father אָבִ֔י H1 and the lad וְהַנַּ֖עַר H5288 אֵינֶנּ֣וּ H369 אִתָּ֑נוּ H854 be not with us seeing that his life בְנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 is bound up קְשׁוּרָ֥ה H7194 be not with us seeing that his life בְנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 31 וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 It shall come to pass when he seeth כִּרְאוֹת֛וֹ H7200 כִּי H3588 אֵ֥ין H369 that the lad הַנַּ֖עַר H5288 is not with us that he will die וָמֵ֑ת H4191 shall bring down וְהוֹרִ֨ידוּ H3381 and thy servants עַבְדְּךָ֥ H5650 אֶת H853 the gray hairs שֵׂיבַ֨ת H7872 and thy servants עַבְדְּךָ֥ H5650 our father אָבִ֛ינוּ H1 with sorrow בְּיָג֖וֹן H3015 to the grave שְׁאֹֽלָה׃ H7585 32 כִּ֤י H3588 For thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֙ H5650 became surety עָרַ֣ב H6148 אֶת H853 for the lad הַנַּ֔עַר H5288 unto מֵעִ֥ם H5973 my father לְאָבִ֖י H1 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 אִם H518 לֹ֤א H3808 If I bring אֲבִיאֶ֙נּוּ֙ H935 אֵלֶ֔יךָ H413 him not unto thee then I shall bear the blame וְחָטָ֥אתִי H2398 my father לְאָבִ֖י H1 כָּל H3605 for ever הַיָּמִֽים׃ H3117 33 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 abide יֵֽשֶׁב H3427 נָ֤א H4994 Now therefore I pray thee let thy servant עֶ֖בֶד H5650 תַּ֣חַת H8478 and let the lad וְהַנַּ֖עַר H5288 Now therefore I pray thee let thy servant עֶ֖בֶד H5650 to my
