וְכָל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 לָהֶ֔ם H0 and all that they have are come out בָּ֖אוּ H935 and behold they are in the land בְּאֶ֥רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנָ֑עַן H3667 וְהִנָּ֖ם H2005 and behold they are in the בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 is before thee לְפָנֶ֣יךָ H6440 הִ֔וא H1931 in the best בְּמֵיטַ֣ב H4315 The land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 let them dwell יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ H3427 אֶת H853 thy father אָבִ֖יךָ H1 וְאֶת H853 and brethren אַחֶ֑יךָ H251 let them dwell יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ H3427 The land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Goshen גֹּ֔שֶׁן H1657 וְאִם H518 and if thou knowest יָדַ֗עְתָּ H3045 וְיֶשׁ H3426 בָּם֙ H0 אַנְשֵׁי H853 Pharaoh פַּרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 8 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֖ה H6547 אֶֽל H413 unto Jacob יַעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 How כַּמָּ֕ה H4100 יְמֵ֖י H3117 שְׁנֵ֥י H8141 old חַיֶּֽיךָ׃ H2416 9 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Jacob יַֽעֲקֹב֙ H3290 אֶל H413 unto Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 The days בִּימֵ֖י H3117 of the years שְׁנֵי֙ H8141 of my pilgrimage מְגֽוּרֵיהֶֽם׃ H4033 and thirty שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים H7970 are an hundred וּמְאַ֖ת H3967 of the years שְׁנֵי֙ H8141 few מְעַ֣ט H4592 and evil וְרָעִ֗ים H7451 הָיוּ֙ H1961 The days בִּימֵ֖י H3117 of the years שְׁנֵי֙ H8141 of my life חַיֵּ֣י H2416 וְלֹ֣א H3808 placed וַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 And Joseph יוֹסֵף֮ H3130 אֶת H853 his father אָבִ֣יו H1 וְאֶת H853 and his brethren אֶחָיו֒ H251 and gave וַיִּתֵּ֨ן H5414 לָהֶ֤ם H0 them a possession אֲחֻזָּה֙ H272 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 in the best בְּמֵיטַ֥ב H4315 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Rameses רַעְמְסֵ֑ס H7486 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 had commanded צִוָּ֥ה H6680 as Pharaoh פַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 12 nourished וַיְכַלְכֵּ֤ל H3557 And Joseph יוֹסֵף֙ H3130 אֶת H853 and all his father's אָבִ֑יו H1 וְאֶת H853 and his brethren אֶחָ֔יו H251 וְאֵ֖ת H853 כָּל H3605 household בֵּ֣ית H1004 and all his father's אָבִ֑יו H1 with bread לֶ֖חֶם H3899 according לְפִ֥י H6310 to their families הַטָּֽף׃ H2945 13 And there was no bread וְלֶ֤חֶם H3899 אֵין֙ H369 בְּכָל H3605 and all the land וְאֶ֣רֶץ H776 כִּֽי H3588 sore כָבֵ֥ד H3515 for the famine הָֽרָעָֽב׃ H7458 was very מְאֹ֑ד H3966 fainted וַתֵּ֜לַהּ H3856 and all the land וְאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 and all the land וְאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנַ֔עַן H3667 by reason מִפְּנֵ֖י H6440 for the famine הָֽרָעָֽב׃ H7458 14 gathered up וַיְלַקֵּ֣ט H3950 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֛ף H3130 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 that was found הַנִּמְצָ֤א H4672 and in the land וּבְאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 and in the land וּבְאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנַ֔עַן H3667 for the corn בַּשֶּׁ֖בֶר H7668 אֲשֶׁר H834 הֵ֣ם H1992 which they bought שֹֽׁבְרִ֑ים H7666 brought וַיָּבֵ֥א H935 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֛ף H3130 אֶת H853 all the money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 house בֵּ֥יתָה H1004 into Pharaoh's פַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 15 failed וַיִּתֹּ֣ם H8552 And when money כָּֽסֶף׃ H3701 and in the land וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 all the Egyptians מִצְרַ֨יִם H4714 and in the land וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנַעַן֒ H3667 came וַיָּבֹאוּ֩ H935 כָל H3605 all the Egyptians מִצְרַ֨יִם H4714 אֶל H413 unto Joseph יוֹסֵ֤ף H3130 and said לֵאמֹר֙ H559 Give הָֽבָה H3051 לָּ֣נוּ H0 us bread לֶ֔חֶם H3899 וְלָ֥מָּה H4100 for why should we die נָמ֖וּת H4191 נֶגְדֶּ֑ךָ H5048 כִּ֥י H3588 faileth אָפֵ֖ס H656 And when money כָּֽסֶף׃ H3701 16 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Joseph יוֹסֵף֙ H3130 Give הָב֣וּ H3051 you for your cattle בְּמִקְנֵיכֶ֑ם H4735 and I will give וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה H5414 לָכֶ֖ם H0 you for your cattle בְּמִקְנֵיכֶ֑ם H4735 אִם H518 fail אָפֵ֖ס H656 if money כָּֽסֶף׃ H3701 17 And they brought וַיָּבִ֣יאוּ H935 אֶת H853 and for the cattle מִקְנֵהֶ֔ם H4735 אֶל H413 and Joseph יוֹסֵ֨ף H3130 gave וַיִּתֵּ֣ן H5414 לָהֶם֩ H0 and Joseph יוֹסֵ֨ף H3130 them bread בַּלֶּ֙חֶם֙ H3899 in exchange for horses בַּסּוּסִ֗ים H5483 and for the cattle מִקְנֵהֶ֔ם H4735 and for the flocks הַצֹּ֛אן H6629 and for the cattle מִקְנֵהֶ֔ם H4735 of the herds הַבָּקָ֖ר H1241 and for the asses וּבַֽחֲמֹרִ֑ים H2543 and he fed וַיְנַֽהֲלֵ֤ם H5095 them bread בַּלֶּ֙חֶם֙ H3899 בְּכָל H3605 and for the cattle מִקְנֵהֶ֔ם H4735 for that year בַּשָּׁנָ֖ה H8141 הַהִֽוא׃ H1931 18 is spent תַּ֣ם H8552 When that year בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה H8141 הַהִוא֒ H1931 they came וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ H935 also hath אֶל H413 When that year בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה H8141 unto him the second הַשֵּׁנִ֗ית H8145 and said וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ H559 לוֹ֙ H0 לֹֽא H3808 unto him We will not hide נְכַחֵ֣ד H3582 it from my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 כִּ֚י H3588 אִם H518 is spent תַּ֣ם H8552 how that our money הַכֶּ֔סֶף H3701 our herds וּמִקְנֵ֥ה H4735 of cattle הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה H929 also hath אֶל H413 it from my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 לֹ֤א H3808 there is not ought left נִשְׁאַר֙ H7604 in the sight לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 it from my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 בִּלְתִּ֥י H1115 אִם H518 but our bodies גְּוִיָּתֵ֖נוּ H1472 and our lands וְאַדְמָתֵֽנוּ׃ H127 19 לָ֧מָּה H4100 Wherefore shall we die נָמ֔וּת H4191 before thine eyes לְעֵינֶ֗יךָ H5869 גַּם H1571 אֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ H587 גַּ֣ם H1571 and we and our land וְהָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה H127 buy קְנֵֽה H7069 אֹתָ֥נוּ H853 וְאֶת H853 and we and our land וְהָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה H127 for bread בַּלָּ֑חֶם H3899 וְנִֽהְיֶ֞ה H1961 אֲנַ֤חְנוּ H587 and we and our land וְהָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה H127 will be servants עֲבָדִ֣ים H5650 unto Pharaoh לְפַרְעֹ֔ה H6547 and give וְתֶן H5414 us seed זֶ֗רַע H2233 that we may live וְנִֽחְיֶה֙ H2421 וְלֹ֣א H3808 Wherefore shall we die נָמ֔וּת H4191 and we and our land וְהָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה H127 לֹ֥א H3808 be not desolate תֵשָֽׁם׃ H3456 20 bought וַיִּ֨קֶן H7069 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֜ף H3130 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the land אַדְמַ֤ת H127 for the Egyptians מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 became Pharaoh's לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 כִּֽי H3588 sold מָכְר֤וּ H4376 מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4713 אִ֣ישׁ H582 his field שָׂדֵ֔הוּ H7704 כִּֽי H3588 prevailed חָזַ֥ק H2388 עֲלֵהֶ֖ם H5921 because the famine הָֽרָעָ֑ב H7458 וַתְּהִ֥י H1961 over them so the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 became Pharaoh's לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 21 וְאֶ֨ת H853 And as for the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 he removed הֶֽעֱבִ֥יר H5674 אֹת֖וֹ H853 them to cities לֶֽעָרִ֑ים H5892 even to the other end קָצֵֽהוּ׃ H7097 of the borders גְבוּל H1366 of Egypt מִצְרַ֖יִם H4714 וְעַד H5704 even to the other end קָצֵֽהוּ׃ H7097 22 רַ֛ק H7535 Only the land אַדְמָתָֽם׃ H127 not for the priests לַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים H3548 לֹ֣א H3808 bought he קָנָ֑ה H7069 כִּי֩ H3588 had a portion חֻקָּם֙ H2706 not for the priests לַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים H3548 מֵאֵ֣ת H853 assigned them of Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 and did eat וְאָֽכְל֤וּ H398 אֶת H853 had a portion חֻקָּם֙ H2706 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 gave נָתַ֤ן H5414 לָהֶם֙ H0 assigned them of Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 עַל H5921 כֵּ֕ן H3651 לֹ֥א H3808 them wherefore they sold מָֽכְר֖וּ H4376 אֶת H853 Only the land אַדְמָתָֽם׃ H127 23 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 Then Joseph יוֹסֵף֙ H3130 אֶל H413 unto the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 הֵן֩ H2005 Behold I have bought קָנִ֨יתִי H7069 אֶתְכֶ֥ם H853 you this day הַיּ֛וֹם H3117 וְאֶת H853 and your land הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃ H127 for Pharaoh לְפַרְעֹ֑ה H6547 lo הֵֽא H1887 לָכֶ֣ם H0 here is seed זֶ֔רַע H2233 for you and ye shall sow וּזְרַעְתֶּ֖ם H2232 אֶת H853 and your land הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃ H127 24 וְהָיָה֙ H1961 And it shall come to pass in the increase בַּתְּבוּאֹ֔ת H8393 that ye shall give וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם H5414 the fifth חֲמִישִׁ֖ית H2549 part unto Pharaoh לְפַרְעֹ֑ה H6547 and four וְאַרְבַּ֣ע H702 parts הַיָּדֹ֡ת H3027 יִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 לָכֶם֩ H0 shall be your own for seed לְזֶ֨רַע H2233 of the field הַשָּׂדֶ֧ה H7704 and for your food וּֽלְאָכְלְכֶ֛ם H400 וְלַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and for them of your households בְּבָֽתֵּיכֶ֖ם H1004 and for food וְלֶֽאֱכֹ֥ל H398 for your little ones לְטַפְּכֶֽם׃ H2945 25 And they said וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ H559 Thou hast saved our lives הֶֽחֱיִתָ֑נוּ H2421 let us find נִמְצָא H4672 grace חֵן֙ H2580 in the sight בְּעֵינֵ֣י H5869 of my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 וְהָיִ֥ינוּ H1961 servants עֲבָדִ֖ים H5650 and we will be Pharaoh's לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 26 made וַיָּ֣שֶׂם H7760 אֹתָ֣הּ H853 And Joseph יוֹסֵ֡ף H3130 it a law לְחֹק֩ H2706 עַד H5704 unto this day הַיּ֨וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֜ה H2088 עַל H5921 over the land אַדְמַ֤ת H127 of Egypt מִצְרַ֛יִם H4714 only which became not Pharaoh's לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 should have the fifth לַחֹ֑מֶשׁ H2569 part except רַ֞ק H7535 over the land אַדְמַ֤ת H127 of the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 לְבַדָּ֔ם H905 לֹ֥א H3808 הָֽיְתָ֖ה H1961 only which became not Pharaoh's לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 27 dwelt וַיֵּ֧שֶׁב H3427 And Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל H3478 in the country בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֖יִם H4714 in the country בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Goshen גֹּ֑שֶׁן H1657 and they had possessions וַיֵּאָֽחֲז֣וּ H270 בָ֔הּ H0 therein and grew וַיִּפְר֥וּ H6509 and multiplied וַיִּרְבּ֖וּ H7235 exceedingly מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 28 lived וַיְחִ֤י H2421 And Jacob יַעֲקֹב֙ H3290 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 and seven שֶׁ֣בַע H7651 seventeen עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה H6240 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 וַיְהִ֤י H1961 יְמֵֽי H3117 And Jacob יַעֲקֹב֙ H3290 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 so the whole age חַיָּ֔יו H2416 and seven שֶׁ֣בַע H7651 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֥ים H705 was an hundred וּמְאַ֖ת H3967 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 29 drew nigh וַיִּקְרְב֣וּ H7126 And the time יְמֵֽי H3117 that Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ H3478 must die לָמוּת֒ H4191 and he called וַיִּקְרָ֣א׀ H7121 his son לִבְנ֣וֹ H1121 Joseph לְיוֹסֵ֗ף H3130 and said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 לוֹ֙ H0 אִם H518 נָ֨א H4994 unto him If now I have found מָצָ֤אתִי H4672 grace חֵן֙ H2580 in thy sight בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ H5869 put שִֽׂים H7760 נָ֥א H4994 I pray thee thy hand יָֽדְךָ֖ H3027 תַּ֣חַת H8478 under my thigh יְרֵכִ֑י H3409 and deal וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ H6213 עִמָּדִי֙ H5978 kindly חֶ֣סֶד H2617 and truly וֶֽאֱמֶ֔ת H571 אַל H408 נָ֥א H4994 with me bury תִקְבְּרֵ֖נִי H6912 me not I pray thee in Egypt בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 30 But I will lie וְשָֽׁכַבְתִּי֙ H7901 עִם H5973 with my fathers אֲבֹתַ֔י H1 and thou shalt carry
