they did עָשֽׂוּ׃ H6213 9 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֵלָ֑י H413 is found נִֽמְצָא H4672 unto me A conspiracy קֶ֙שֶׁר֙ H7195 among the men בְּאִ֣ישׁ H376 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and among the inhabitants וּבְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י H3427 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 10 They are turned back שָׁ֩בוּ֩ H7725 עַל H5921 to the iniquities עֲוֹנֹ֨ת H5771 with their fathers אֲבוֹתָֽם׃ H1 of their forefathers הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֗ים H7223 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 which refused מֵֽאֲנוּ֙ H3985 to hear לִשְׁמ֣וֹעַ H8085 אֶת H853 my words דְּבָרַ֔י H1697 וְהֵ֣מָּה H1992 and they went הָלְכ֗וּ H1980 after אַחֲרֵ֛י H310 gods אֱלֹהִ֥ים H430 other אֲחֵרִ֖ים H312 to serve לְעָבְדָ֑ם H5647 have broken הֵפֵ֤רוּ H6565 and the house וּבֵ֣ית H1004 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 and the house וּבֵ֣ית H1004 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 אֶת H853 my covenant בְּרִיתִ֕י H1285 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which I made כָּרַ֖תִּי H3772 אֶת H854 with their fathers אֲבוֹתָֽם׃ H1 11 לָכֵ֗ן H3651 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will bring מֵבִ֤יא H935 אֲלֵיהֶם֙ H413 evil רָעָ֔ה H7451 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 upon them which they shall not be able יוּכְל֖וּ H3201 to escape לָצֵ֣את H3318 מִמֶּ֑נָּה H4480 and though they shall cry וְזָעֲק֣וּ H2199 אֵלַ֔י H413 וְלֹ֥א H3808 unto me I will not hearken אֶשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ H413 12 go וְהָֽלְכ֞וּ H1980 Then shall the cities עָרֵ֣י H5892 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 and inhabitants וְיֹשְׁבֵי֙ H3427 of Jerusalem יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 and cry וְזָֽעֲקוּ֙ H2199 אֶל H413 unto the gods הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 הֵ֥ם H1992 unto whom they offer incense מְקַטְּרִ֖ים H6999 לָהֶ֑ם H0 but they shall not save יוֹשִׁ֥יעוּ H3467 לֹֽא H3808 but they shall not save יוֹשִׁ֥יעוּ H3467 לָהֶ֖ם H0 in the time בְּעֵ֥ת H6256 of their trouble רָעָתָֽם׃ H7451 13 כִּ֚י H3588 For according to the number וּמִסְפַּ֞ר H4557 of thy cities עָרֶ֔יךָ H5892 הָי֥וּ H1961 were thy gods אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ H430 O Judah יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 For according to the number וּמִסְפַּ֞ר H4557 of the streets חֻצ֣וֹת H2351 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם H3389 have ye set up שַׂמְתֶּ֤ם H7760 altars מִזְבְּח֖וֹת H4196 to that shameful thing לַבֹּ֔שֶׁת H1322 altars מִזְבְּח֖וֹת H4196 to burn incense לְקַטֵּ֥ר H6999 unto Baal לַבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 14 וְאַתָּ֗ה H859 אַל H408 Therefore pray תִּתְפַּלֵּל֙ H6419 בְּעַד H1157 not thou for this people הָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה fire אֵשׁ֙ H784 עָלֶ֔יהָ H5921 of it are broken וְרָע֖וּ H7489 upon it and the branches דָּלִיּוֹתָֽיו׃ H1808 17 For the LORD וַיהוָ֤ה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 that planted הַנּוֹטֵ֣עַ H5193 הִרְאִיתַ֥נִי H7200 me their doings מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ H4611 19 וַאֲנִ֕י H589 But I was like a lamb כְּכֶ֥בֶשׂ H3532 or an ox אַלּ֖וּף H441 that is brought יוּבַ֣ל H2986 to the slaughter לִטְב֑וֹחַ H2873 וְלֹֽא H3808 and I knew יָדַ֜עְתִּי H3045 כִּֽי H3588 עָלַ֣י׀ H5921 not that they had devised חָשְׁב֣וּ H2803 devices מַחֲשָׁב֗וֹת H4284 against me saying Let us destroy נַשְׁחִ֨יתָה H7843 the tree עֵ֤ץ H6086 with the fruit בְּלַחְמוֹ֙ H3899 thereof and let us cut him off וְנִכְרְתֶ֙נּוּ֙ H3772 from the land מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of the living חַיִּ֔ים H2416 that his name וּשְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 לֹֽא H3808 may be no more remembered יִזָּכֵ֥ר H2142 עֽוֹד׃ H5750 20 But O LORD וַֽיהוָ֤ה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 that judgest שֹׁפֵ֣ט H8199 righteously צֶ֔דֶק H6664 that triest בֹּחֵ֥ן H974 the reins כְּלָי֖וֹת H3629 and the heart וָלֵ֑ב H3820 let me see אֶרְאֶ֤ה H7200 thy vengeance נִקְמָֽתְךָ֙ H5360 מֵהֶ֔ם H1992 כִּ֥י H3588 אֵלֶ֖יךָ H413 on them for unto thee have I revealed גִּלִּ֥יתִי H1540 H1245 אֶֽת H853 thy life נַפְשְׁךָ֖ H5315 Therefore thus saith לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 לֹ֤א H3808 Prophesy תִנָּבֵא֙ H5012 not in the name בְּשֵׁ֣ם H8034 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 וְלֹ֥א H3808 that thou die תָמ֖וּת H4191 not by our hand בְּיָדֵֽנוּ׃ H3027 22 לָכֵ֗ן H3651 כֹּ֤ה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַר֙ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 הִנְנִ֥י H2005 Behold I will punish פֹקֵ֖ד H6485 עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם H5921 them the young men הַבַּֽחוּרִים֙ H970 shall die יָמֻ֖תוּ H4191 by the sword בַחֶ֔רֶב H2719 their sons בְּנֵיהֶם֙ H1121 and their daughters וּבְנ֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם H1323 shall die
