אָמַ֨ר H559 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 עַֽל H5921 against the pastors הָרֹעִ֣ים H7462 against the pastors הָרֹעִ֣ים H7462 אֶת H853 my people עַמִּי֒ H5971 בָּאִים֙ H935 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 that I will raise וַהֲקִמֹתִ֥י H6965 unto David לְדָוִ֖ד H1732 Branch צֶ֣מַח H6780 a righteous צַדִּ֑יק H6662 shall reign וּמָ֤לַךְ H4427 and a King מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 and prosper וְהִשְׂכִּ֔יל H7919 and shall execute וְעָשָׂ֛ה H6213 judgment מִשְׁפָּ֥ט H4941 and justice וּצְדָקָ֖ה H6666 in the earth בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 6 In his days בְּיָמָיו֙ H3117 shall be saved תִּוָּשַׁ֣ע H3467 Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and Israel וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 shall dwell יִשְׁכֹּ֣ן H7931 safely לָבֶ֑טַח H983 וְזֶה H2088 and this is his name שְּׁמ֥וֹ H8034 אֲֽשֶׁר H834 וּמִכֹּל֙ H3605 and from all countries הָֽאֲרָצ֔וֹת H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whither I had driven הִדַּחְתִּ֖ים H5080 שָׁ֑ם H8033 them and they shall dwell וְיָשְׁב֖וּ H3427 עַל H5921 in their own land אַדְמָתָֽם׃ H127 9 because of the prophets לַנְּבִאִ֞ים H5030 me is broken נִשְׁבַּ֧ר H7665 Mine heart לִבִּ֣י H3820 within בְקִרְבִּ֗י H7130 shake רָֽחֲפוּ֙ H7363 כָּל H3605 all my bones עַצְמוֹתַ֔י H6106 הָיִ֙יתִי֙ H1961 man כְּאִ֣ישׁ H376 I am like a drunken שִׁכּ֔וֹר H7910 and like a man וּכְגֶ֖בֶר H1397 hath overcome עֲבָ֣רוֹ H5674 whom wine יָ֑יִן H3196 because וּמִפְּנֵ֖י H6440 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 because וּמִפְּנֵ֖י H6440 and because of the words דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 of his holiness קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ H6944 10 כִּ֤י H3588 of adulterers מְנָֽאֲפִים֙ H5003 is full מָלְאָ֣ה H4390 For the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 כִּֽי H3588 for because מִפְּנֵ֤י H6440 of swearing אָלָה֙ H423 mourneth אָבְלָ֣ה H56 For the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 are dried up יָבְשׁ֖וּ H3001 the pleasant places נְא֣וֹת H4999 of the wilderness מִדְבָּ֑ר H4057 וַתְּהִ֤י H1961 and their course מְרֽוּצָתָם֙ H4794 is evil רָעָ֔ה H7451 and their force וּגְבוּרָתָ֖ם H1369 לֹא H3808 כֵֽן׃ H3651 11 כִּֽי H3588 גַם H1571 For both prophet נָבִ֥יא H5030 גַם H1571 and priest כֹּהֵ֖ן H3548 are profane חָנֵ֑פוּ H2610 גַּם H1571 yea in my house בְּבֵיתִ֛י H1004 have I found מָצָ֥אתִי H4672 their wickedness רָעָתָ֖ם H7451 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 12 לָכֵן֩ H3651 יִֽהְיֶ֨ה H1961 Wherefore their way דַרְכָּ֜ם H1870 לָהֶ֗ם H1992 shall be unto them as slippery כַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת֙ H2519 ways in the darkness בָּֽאֲפֵלָ֔ה H653 they shall be driven on יִדַּ֖חוּ H1760 and fall וְנָ֣פְלוּ H5307 בָ֑הּ H0 כִּֽי H3588 therein for I will bring אָבִ֨יא H935 עֲלֵיהֶ֥ם H5921 evil רָעָ֛ה H7451 upon them even the year שְׁנַ֥ת H8141 of their visitation פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם H6486 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 13 in the prophets וּבִנְבִיאֵ֥י H5030 of Samaria שֹׁמְר֖וֹן H8111 And I have seen רָאִ֣יתִי H7200 folly תִפְלָ֑ה H8604 they prophesied הִנַּבְּא֣וּ H5012 in Baal בַבַּ֔עַל H1168 to err וַיַּתְע֥וּ H8582 אֶת H853 and caused my people עַמִּ֖י H5971 אֶת H853 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 14 also in the prophets וּבִנְבִאֵ֨י H5030 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם H3389 I have seen רָאִ֣יתִי H7200 an horrible thing שַׁעֲרוּרָ֗ה H8186 they commit adultery נָא֞וֹף H5003 and walk וְהָלֹ֤ךְ H1980 in lies בַּשֶּׁ֙קֶר֙ H8267 they strengthen וְחִזְּקוּ֙ H2388 also the hands יְדֵ֣י H3027 of evildoers מְרֵעִ֔ים H7489 לְבִ֨לְתִּי H1115 doth return שָׁ֔בוּ H7725 that none אִ֖ישׁ H376 from his wickedness מֵרָֽעָת֑וֹ H7451 הָֽיוּ H1961 לִ֤י H0 כֻלָּם֙ H3605 they are all of them unto me as Sodom כִּסְדֹ֔ם H5467 and the inhabitants וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ H3427 thereof as Gomorrah כַּעֲמֹרָֽה׃ H6017 15 לָכֵ֞ן H3651 כֹּֽה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֨ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 עַל H5921 concerning the prophets נְבִיאֵ֣י H5030 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will feed מַאֲכִ֤יל H398 אוֹתָם֙ H853 them with wormwood לַֽעֲנָ֔ה H3939 and make them drink וְהִשְׁקִתִ֖ים H8248 the water מֵי H4325 of gall רֹ֑אשׁ H7219 כִּ֗י H3588 מֵאֵת֙ H853 concerning the prophets נְבִיאֵ֣י H5030 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 gone forth יָצְאָ֥ה H3318 is profaneness חֲנֻפָּ֖ה H2613 לְכָל H3605 into all the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 16 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֞ר H559 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of hosts צְבָא֗וֹת H6635 אַֽל H408 Hearken תִּשְׁמְע֞וּ H8085 עַל H5921 not unto the words דִּבְרֵ֤י H1697 of the prophets הַנְּבִאִים֙ H5030 that prophesy הַנִּבְּאִ֣ים H5012 לָכֶ֔ם H0 unto you they make you vain מַהְבִּלִ֥ים H1891 הֵ֖מָּה H1992 אֶתְכֶ֑ם H853 a vision חֲז֤וֹן H2377 of their own heart לִבָּם֙ H3820 they speak יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ H1696 לֹ֖א H3808 and not out of the mouth מִפִּ֥י H6310 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 17 They say אָֽמְר֔וּ H559 They say אָֽמְר֔וּ H559 unto them that despise לִֽמְנַאֲצַ֔י H5006 hath said דִּבֶּ֣ר H1696 me The LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 Ye shall have peace שָׁל֖וֹם H7965 יִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 לָכֶ֑ם H0 וְ֠כֹל H3605 unto every one that walketh הֹלֵ֞ךְ H1980 after the imagination בִּשְׁרִר֤וּת H8307 of his own heart לִבּוֹ֙ H3820 They say אָֽמְר֔וּ H559 לֹֽא H3808 shall come תָב֥וֹא H935 עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם H5921 No evil רָעָֽה׃ H7451 18 כִּ֣י H3588 מִ֤י H4310 For who hath stood עָמַד֙ H5975 in the counsel בְּס֣וֹד H5475 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 and hath perceived וְיֵ֖רֶא H7200 and heard וַיִּשְׁמָֽע׃ H8085 אֶת H853 his word דְּבָר֖יֹ H1697 מִֽי H4310 who hath marked הִקְשִׁ֥יב H7181 his word דְּבָר֖יֹ H1697 and heard וַיִּשְׁמָֽע׃ H8085 19 הִנֵּ֣ה׀ H2009 Behold a whirlwind וְסַ֖עַר H5591 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 in fury חֵמָה֙ H2534 is gone forth יָֽצְאָ֔ה H3318 Behold a whirlwind וְסַ֖עַר H5591 even a grievous יָחֽוּל׃ H2342 עַ֛ל H5921 upon the head רֹ֥אשׁ H7218 of the wicked רְשָׁעִ֖ים H7563 even a grievous יָחֽוּל׃ H2342 20 לֹ֤א H3808 shall not return יָשׁוּב֙ H7725 The anger אַף H639 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 עַד H5704 until he have executed עֲשֹׂת֥וֹ H6213 וְעַד H5704 and till he have performed הֲקִימ֖וֹ H6965 the thoughts מְזִמּ֣וֹת H4209 of his heart לִבּ֑וֹ H3820 in the latter בְּאַֽחֲרִית֙ H319 days הַיָּמִ֔ים H3117 ye shall consider תִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּ H995 בָ֖הּ H0 it perfectly בִּינָֽה׃ H998 21 לֹא H3808 I have not sent שָׁלַ֥חְתִּי H7971 אֶת H853 these prophets הַנְּבִאִ֖ים H5030 וְהֵ֣ם H1992 yet they ran רָ֑צוּ H7323 לֹא H3808 I have not spoken דִבַּ֥רְתִּי H1696 אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H413 וְהֵ֥ם H1992 to them yet they prophesied נִבָּֽאוּ׃ H5012 22 וְאִֽם H518 But if they had stood עָמְד֖וּ H5975 in my counsel בְּסוֹדִ֑י H5475 to hear וְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּ H8085 my words דְבָרַי֙ H1697 אֶת H853 and had caused my people עַמִּ֔י H5971 then they should have turned וִֽישִׁבוּם֙ H7725 way מִדַּרְכָּ֣ם H1870 them from their evil הָרָ֔ע H7451 and from the evil וּמֵרֹ֖עַ H7455 of their doings מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ H4611 23 Am I a God אֱלֹהֵ֖י H430 at hand מִקָּרֹ֛ב H7138 אָ֖נִי H589 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 וְלֹ֥א H3808 Am I a God אֱלֹהֵ֖י H430 afar off מֵרָחֹֽק׃ H7350 24 אִם H518 hide יִסָּתֵ֨ר H5641 Can any אִ֧ישׁ H376 himself in secret places בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛ים H4565 וַאֲנִ֥י H589 לֹֽא H3808 that I shall not see אֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ H7200 him saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 הֲל֨וֹא H3808 אֶת H853 heaven הַשָּׁמַ֧יִם H8064 וְאֶת H853 and earth הָאָ֛רֶץ H776 אֲנִ֥י H589 מָלֵ֖א H4390 him saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 25 I have heard שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי H8085 אֵ֤ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 said לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 what the prophets הַנְּבִאִ֔ים H5030 that prophesy הַֽנִּבְּאִ֥ים H5012 in my name בִּשְׁמִ֛י H8034 lies שֶׁ֖קֶר H8267 said לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 I have dreamed חָלָֽמְתִּי׃ H2492 I have dreamed חָלָֽמְתִּי׃ H2492 26 עַד H5704 מָתַ֗י H4970 How long shall this be הֲיֵ֛שׁ H3426 in the heart לִבָּֽם׃ H3820 of the prophets וּנְבִיאֵ֖י H5030 that prophesy נִבְּאֵ֣י H5012 lies הַשָּׁ֑קֶר H8267 of the prophets וּנְבִיאֵ֖י H5030 of the deceit תַּרְמִ֥ת H8649 in the heart לִבָּֽם׃ H3820 27 Which think הַחֹשְׁבִ֗ים H2803 have forgotten שָׁכְח֧וּ H7911 אֶת H853 to cause my people עַמִּי֙ H5971 my name שְׁמִ֖י H8034 by their dreams בַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔ם H2472 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which they tell יְסַפְּר֖וּ H5608 every man אִ֣ישׁ H376 to his neighbour לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ H7453 כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 have forgotten שָׁכְח֧וּ H7911 as their fathers אֲבוֹתָ֛ם H1 אֶת H853 my name שְׁמִ֖י H8034 for Baal בַּבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 28 The prophet הַנָּבִ֞יא H5030 אֲשֶׁר H834 אִתּ֤וֹ H854 a dream חֲל֔וֹם H2472 let him tell יְסַפֵּ֣ר H5608 a dream חֲל֔וֹם H2472 וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 and he that hath my word דְּבָרִ֖י H1697 אִתּ֔וֹ H854 let him speak יְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 and he that hath my word דְּבָרִ֖י H1697 faithfully אֱמֶ֑ת H571 מַה H4100 What is the chaff לַתֶּ֥בֶן H8401 אֶת H854 to the wheat הַבָּ֖ר H1250 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 29 הֲל֨וֹא H3808 like כֹ֧ה H3541 Is not my word דְבָרִ֛י H1697 as a fire כָּאֵ֖שׁ H784 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 and like a hammer וּכְפַטִּ֖ישׁ H6360 in pieces יְפֹ֥צֵֽץ H6327 the rock סָֽלַע׃ H5553 30 לָכֵ֛ן H3651 הִנְנִ֥י H2005 עַל H5921 Therefore behold I am against the prophets הַנְּבִאִ֖ים H5030 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 that steal מְגַנְּבֵ֣י H1589 my words דְבָרַ֔י H1697 every one אִ֖ישׁ H376 מֵאֵ֥ת H853 from his neighbour רֵעֵֽהוּ׃ H7453 31 הִנְנִ֥י H2005 עַל H5921 Behold I am against the prophets הַנְּבִיאִ֖ם H5030 He saith נְאֻֽם׃ H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 that use הַלֹּקְחִ֣ים H3947 their tongues לְשׁוֹנָ֔ם H3956 and say וַֽיִּנְאֲמ֖וּ H5001 He saith נְאֻֽם׃ H5002 32 הִ֠נְנִי H2005 עַֽל H5921 Behold I am against them that prophesy נִבְּאֵ֞י H5012 dreams חֲלֹמ֥וֹת H2472 by their lies בְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖ם H8267 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 and do tell וַֽיְסַפְּרוּם֙ H5608 to err וַיַּתְע֣וּ H8582 אֶת H853 them and cause my people לָֽעָם H5971 by their lies בְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖ם H8267 and by their lightness וּבְפַחֲזוּתָ֑ם H6350 וְאָנֹכִ֨י H595 לֹֽא H3808 yet I sent שְׁלַחְתִּ֜ים H7971 וְלֹ֣א H3808 them not nor commanded צִוִּיתִ֗ים H6680 at all יוֹעִ֥ילוּ H3276 לֹֽא H3808 at all יוֹעִ֥ילוּ H3276 them and cause my people לָֽעָם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 33 וְכִי H3588 shall ask יִשְׁאָלְךָ֩ H7592 And when this people הָעָ֨ם H5971 הַזֶּ֜ה H2088 אֽוֹ H176 or the prophet הַנָּבִ֤יא H5030 אֽוֹ H176 or a priest כֹהֵן֙ H3548 thee saying וְאָמַרְתָּ֤ H559 מַה H4100 What is the burden מַשָּׂ֔א H4853 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 thee saying וְאָמַרְתָּ֤ H559 אֲלֵיהֶם֙ H413 אֶת H853 מַה H4100 What is the burden מַשָּׂ֔א H4853 I will even forsake וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֥י H5203 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 you saith נְאֻם H5002 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 34 And as for the prophet וְהַנָּבִ֤יא H5030 and the priest וְהַכֹּהֵן֙ H3548 and the people וְהָעָ֔ם H5971 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that shall say יֹאמַ֖ר H559 The burden מַשָּׂ֣א H4853 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 I will even punish וּפָקַדְתִּ֛י H6485 עַל H5921 that man הָאִ֥ישׁ H376 הַה֖וּא H1931 וְעַל H5921 and his house בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ H1004 35 כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus shall ye say תֹאמְר֛וּ H559 and every one וְאִ֣ישׁ H376 עַל H5921 to his neighbour רֵעֵ֖הוּ H7453 and every one וְאִ֣ישׁ H376 אֶל H413 to his brother אָחִ֑יו H251 מֶה H4100 answered עָנָ֣ה H6030 What hath the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 וּמַה H4100 spoken דִּבֶּ֖ר H1696 What hath the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 36 And the burden הַמַּשָּׂ֗א H4853 of the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 לֹ֣א H3808 shall ye mention תִזְכְּרוּ H2142 ע֑וֹד H5750 כִּ֣י H3588 And the burden הַמַּשָּׂ֗א H4853 יִֽהְיֶה֙ H1961 no more for every man's לְאִ֣ישׁ H376 the words דִּבְרֵי֙ H1697 for ye have perverted וַהֲפַכְתֶּ֗ם H2015 אֶת H853 the words דִּבְרֵי֙ H1697 God אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ H430 of the living חַיִּ֔ים H2416 of the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 God אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ H430 37 כֹּ֥ה H3541 Thus shalt thou say תֹאמַ֖ר H559 אֶל H413 to the prophet
