elders זִקְנֵ֣י H2205 which were carried away captives הַגּוֹלָ֗ה H1473 וְאֶל H413 and to the priests הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים H3548 וְאֶל H413 and to the prophets הַנְּבִיאִים֙ H5030 וְאֶל H413 כָּל H3605 and to 16 כִּי H3588 כֹ֣ה׀ H3541 Know that thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 אֶל H413 of the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 that dwelleth הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 אֶל H413 upon the throne כִּסֵּ֣א H3678 of David דָוִ֔ד H1732 וְאֶל H413 כָּל H3605 and of all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 that dwelleth הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 in this city בָּעִ֣יר H5892 הַזֹּ֑את H2063 and of your brethren אֲחֵיכֶ֕ם H251 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 that are not gone forth יָצְא֥וּ H3318 אִתְּכֶ֖ם H854 with you into captivity בַּגּוֹלָֽה׃ H1473 17 כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַר֙ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 הִנְנִי֙ H2005 Behold I will send מְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ H7971 בָּ֔ם H0 אֶת H853 upon them the sword הַחֶ֖רֶב H2719 אֶת H853 the famine הָרָעָ֣ב H7458 וְאֶת H853 and the pestilence הַדָּ֑בֶר H1698 and will make וְנָתַתִּ֣י H5414 אוֹתָ֗ם H853 them like vile כַּתְּאֵנִים֙ H8182 figs הַשֹּׁ֣עָרִ֔ים H8384 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 לֹא H3808 that cannot be eaten תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה H398 they are so evil מֵרֹֽעַ׃ H7455 18 And I will persecute וְרָֽדַפְתִּי֙ H7291 them אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם H310 with the sword בַּחֶ֖רֶב H2719 with the famine בָּרָעָ֣ב H7458 and with the pestilence וּבַדָּ֑בֶר H1698 and will deliver וּנְתַתִּ֨ים H5414 לְזַוֲעָ֜ה H2113 לְכֹ֣ל׀ H3605 to all the kingdoms מַמְלְכ֣וֹת H4467 of the earth הָאָ֗רֶץ H776 to be a curse לְאָלָ֤ה H423 and an astonishment וּלְשַׁמָּה֙ H8047 and an hissing וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֣ה H8322 and a reproach וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה H2781 בְּכָל H3605 among all the nations הַגּוֹיִ֖ם H1471 אֲשֶׁר H834 whither I have driven הִדַּחְתִּ֥ים H5080 שָֽׁם׃ H8033 19 תַּ֛חַת H8478 אֲשֶֽׁר H834 לֹא H3808 them by my servants עֲבָדַ֤י H5650 the prophets הַנְּבִאִים֙ H5030 rising up early הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם H7925 and sending וְשָׁלֹ֔חַ H7971 וְלֹ֥א H3808 Because they have not hearkened שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם H8085 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 20 וְאַתֶּ֖ם H859 Hear שִׁמְע֣וּ H8085 ye therefore the word דְבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 כָּל H3605 all ye of the captivity הַ֨גּוֹלָ֔ה H1473 אֲשֶׁר H834 מַֽעֲשֵׂיָ֔ה H4641 which prophesy הַֽנִּבְּאִ֥ים H5012 לָכֶ֛ם H0 unto you in my name בִּשְׁמִ֖י H8034 a lie שָׁ֑קֶר H8267 הִנְנִ֣י׀ H2005 Behold I will deliver נֹתֵ֣ן H5414 אֹתָ֗ם H853 them into the hand בְּיַד֙ H3027 of Nebuchadrezzar נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר H5019 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Babylon בָּבֶ֔ל H894 and he shall slay וְהִכָּ֖ם H5221 them before your eyes לְעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ H5869 22 And of them Nehelamite הַנֶּחֱלָמִ֖י H5161 Thus shalt thou also speak לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 Thus shalt thou also speak לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 25 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus speaketh לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֧ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֛וֹת H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֥י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 Thus speaketh לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 יַ֡עַן H3282 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 אַתָּה֩ H859 Because thou hast sent שָׁלַ֨חְתָּ H7971 in thy name בְשִׁמְכָ֜ה H8034 letters סְפָרִ֗ים H5612 אֶל H413 כָּל H3605 unto all the people הָעָם֙ H5971 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that are at Jerusalem בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 וְאֶל H413 and to Zephaniah צְפַנְיָ֤ה H6846 the son בֶן H1121 of Maaseiah מַֽעֲשֵׂיָה֙ H4641 and to all the priests הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים H3548 וְאֶ֥ל H413 כָּל H3605 and to all the priests הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים H3548 Thus speaketh לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 26 The LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 hath made וְנָתַתָּ֥ה H5414 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן H3548 תַּ֚חַת H8478 in the stead of Jehoiada יְהוֹיָדָ֣ע H3077 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן H3548 לִֽהְי֤וֹת H1961 that ye should be officers פְּקִדִים֙ H6496 in the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 The LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 לְכָל H3605 for every man אִ֥ישׁ H376 that is mad מְשֻׁגָּ֖ע H7696 and maketh himself a prophet וּמִתְנַבֵּ֑א H5012 hath made וְנָתַתָּ֥ה H5414 אֹת֛וֹ H853 אֶל H413 him in prison הַמַּהְפֶּ֖כֶת H4115 וְאֶל H413 and in the stocks הַצִּינֹֽק׃ H6729 27 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 לָ֚מָּה H4100 לֹ֣א H3808 Now therefore why hast thou not reproved גָעַ֔רְתָּ H1605 Jeremiah בְּיִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 of Anathoth הָֽעַנְּתֹתִ֑י H6069 which maketh himself a prophet הַמִּתְנַבֵּ֖א H5012 לָכֶֽם׃ H0 28 כִּ֣י H3588 עַל H5921 כֵּ֞ן H3651 For therefore he sent שָׁלַ֥ח H7971 אֵלֵ֛ינוּ H413 unto us in Babylon בָּבֶ֥ל H894 saying לֵאמֹ֖ר H559 captivity is long אֲרֻכָּ֣ה H752 This הִ֑יא H1931 build בְּנ֤וּ H1129 ye houses בָתִּים֙ H1004 and dwell וְשֵׁ֔בוּ H3427 in them and plant וְנִטְע֣וּ H5193 gardens גַנּ֔וֹת H1593 and eat וְאִכְל֖וּ H398 אֶת H853 the fruit פְּרִיהֶֽן׃ H6529 29 read וַיִּקְרָ֛א H7121 And Zephaniah צְפַנְיָ֥ה H6846 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֖ן H3548 אֶת H853 this letter הַסֵּ֣פֶר H5612 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 in the ears בְּאָזְנֵ֖י H241 of Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ H3414 the prophet הַנָּבִֽיא׃ H5030 30 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 Then came the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 31 Send שְׁלַחְתִּ֔יו H7971 עַל H5921 כָּל H3605 to all them of the captivity הַגּוֹלָה֙ H1473 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶל H413 Because that Shemaiah שְׁמַעְיָ֗ה H8098 the Nehelamite הַנֶּחֱלָמִ֑י H5161 יַ֡עַן H3282 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 hath prophesied נִבָּ֨א H5012 32 לָכֵ֞ן H3651 כֹּֽה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 against the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will punish פֹקֵ֜ד H6485 עַל H5921 Shemaiah שְׁמַעְיָ֣ה H8098 the Nehelamite הַנֶּחֱלָמִי֮ H5161 וְעַל H5921 and his seed זַרְעוֹ֒ H2233 לֹא H3808 יִהְיֶ֨ה H1961 ל֜וֹ H0 he shall not have a man אִ֣ישׁ׀ H376 to dwell יוֹשֵׁ֣ב׀ H3427 among בְּתוֹךְ H8432 for my people לְעַמִּ֖י
