Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 sister אֲחוֹתָ֔הּ H269 וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ H1980 and played the harlot וַתִּ֥זֶן H2181 גַּם H1571 הִֽיא׃ H1931 9 וְהָיָה֙ H1961 And it came to pass through the lightness מִקֹּ֣ל H6963 of her whoredom זְנוּתָ֔הּ H2184 that she defiled וַתֶּחֱנַ֖ף H2610 אֶת H853 the land הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 and committed adultery וַתִּנְאַ֥ף H5003 אֶת H854 with stones הָאֶ֖בֶן H68 וְאֶת H854 and with stocks הָעֵֽץ׃ H6086 10 וְגַם H1571 בְּכָל H3605 זֹ֗את H2063 לֹא H3808 hath not turned שָׁ֨בָה H7725 אֵלַ֜י H413 And yet for all this her treacherous בָּגוֹדָ֧ה H901 sister אֲחוֹתָ֛הּ H269 Judah יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 בְּכָל H3605 unto me with her whole heart לִבָּ֑הּ H3820 כִּ֥י H3588 אִם H518 but feignedly בְּשֶׁ֖קֶר H8267 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 11 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֵלַ֔י H413 hath justified צִדְּקָ֥ה H6663 herself נַפְשָׁ֖הּ H5315 unto me The backsliding מְשֻׁבָ֣ה H4878 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 more than treacherous מִבֹּגֵדָ֖ה H898 Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 12 Go הָלֹ֡ךְ H1980 and proclaim וְקָֽרָאתָ֩ H7121 אֶת H853 these words הַדְּבָרִ֨ים H1697 הָאֵ֜לֶּה H428 toward the north צָפ֗וֹנָה H6828 and say וְ֠אָמַרְתָּ H559 Return שׁ֣וּבָה H7725 thou backsliding מְשֻׁבָ֤ה H4878 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 לֽוֹא H3808 to fall אַפִּ֥יל H5307 and I will not cause mine anger פָּנַ֖י H6440 בָּכֶ֑ם H0 כִּֽי H3588 upon you for I am merciful חָסִ֤יד H2623 אֲנִי֙ H589 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 לֹ֥א H3808 and I will not keep אֶטּ֖וֹר H5201 anger for ever לְעוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 13 אַ֚ךְ H389 Only acknowledge דְּעִ֣י H3045 thine iniquity עֲוֹנֵ֔ךְ H5771 כִּ֛י H3588 against the LORD יְהוָֹֽה׃ H3068 thy God אֱלֹהַ֖יִךְ H430 that thou hast transgressed פָּשָׁ֑עַתְּ H6586 and hast scattered וַתְּפַזְּרִ֨י H6340 אֶת H853 thy ways דְּרָכַ֜יִךְ H1870 to the strangers לַזָּרִ֗ים H2114 תַּ֚חַת H8478 כָּל H3605 tree עֵ֣ץ H6086 under every green רַעֲנָ֔ן H7488 my voice וּבְקוֹלִ֥י H6963 לֹא H3808 and ye have not obeyed שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם H8085 saith נְאֻם H5002 against the LORD יְהוָֹֽה׃ H3068 14 Turn שׁ֣וּבוּ H7725 children בָנִ֤ים H1121 O backsliding שׁוֹבָבִים֙ H7726 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 כִּ֥י H3588 אָנֹכִ֖י H595 for I am married בָּעַ֣לְתִּי H1166 בָכֶ֑ם H0 unto you and I will take וְלָקַחְתִּ֨י H3947 אֶתְכֶ֜ם H853 you one אֶחָ֣ד H259 of a city מֵעִ֗יר H5892 and two וּשְׁנַ֙יִם֙ H8147 of a family מִמִּשְׁפָּחָ֔ה H4940 and I will bring וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י H935 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 you to Zion צִיּֽוֹן׃ H6726 15 And I will give וְנָתַתִּ֥י H5414 לָכֶ֛ם H0 which shall feed וְרָע֥וּ H7462 according to mine heart כְּלִבִּ֑י H3820 which shall feed וְרָע֥וּ H7462 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 you with knowledge דֵּעָ֥ה H1844 and understanding וְהַשְׂכֵּֽיל׃ H7919 16 וְהָיָ֡ה H1961 כִּ֣י H3588 And it shall come to pass when ye be multiplied תִרְבּוּ֩ H7235 and increased וּפְרִיתֶ֨ם H6509 in the land בָּאָ֜רֶץ H776 in those days בַּיָּמִ֤ים H3117 הָהֵ֙מָּה֙ H1992 saith נְאֻם H5002 of יֵלְכ֥וּ H1980 the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of Judah יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 עַל H5921 the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and they shall come וְיָבֹ֤אוּ H935 together יַחְדָּו֙ H3162 out of the land הָאָ֕רֶץ H776 of the north צָפ֔וֹן H6828 עַל H5921 out of the land הָאָ֕רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that I have given for an inheritance הִנְחַ֖לְתִּי H5157 אֶת H853 unto your fathers אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ H1 19 וְאָנֹכִ֣י H595 But I said וָאֹמַ֗ר H559 אֵ֚יךְ H349 How shall I put אֲשִׁיתֵ֣ךְ H7896 thee among the children בַּבָּנִ֔ים H1121 and give וְאֶתֶּן H5414 לָךְ֙ H0 land אֶ֣רֶץ H776 thee a pleasant חֶמְדָּ֔ה H2532 heritage נַחֲלַ֥ת H5159 a goodly צְבִ֖י H6643 of the hosts צִבְא֣וֹת H6635 of nations גּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 But I said וָאֹמַ֗ר H559 me My father אָבִי֙ H1 Thou shalt call לִ֔י H7121 Thou shalt call לִ֔י H7121 from me וּמֵאַחֲרַ֖י H310 לֹ֥א H3808 and shalt not turn away תָשֽׁוּבִו׃ H7725 20 Surely אָכֵ֛ן H403 so have ye dealt treacherously בְּגַדְתֶּ֥ם H898 as a wife אִשָּׁ֖ה H802 departeth from her husband מֵרֵעָ֑הּ H7453 כֵּ֣ן H3651 so have ye dealt treacherously בְּגַדְתֶּ֥ם H898 בִּ֛י H0 with me O house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 21 A voice ק֚וֹל H6963 עַל H5921 upon the high places שְׁפָיִ֣ים H8205 was heard נִשְׁמָ֔ע H8085 weeping בְּכִ֥י H1065 and supplications תַחֲנוּנֵ֖י H8469 of the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 כִּ֤י H3588 for they have perverted הֶעֱוּוּ֙ H5753 אֶת H853 their way דַּרְכָּ֔ם H1870 and they have forgotten שָׁכְח֖וּ H7911 אֶת H853 the LORD יְהוָֹ֥ה H3068 their God אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ H430 22 Return שׁ֚וּבוּ H7725 children בָּנִ֣ים H1121 ye backsliding שׁוֹבָבִ֔ים H7726 and I will heal אֶרְפָּ֖ה H7495 your backslidings מְשׁוּבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם H4878 הִנְנוּ֙ H2005 Behold we come אָתָ֣נוּ H857 לָ֔ךְ H0 כִּ֥י H3588 אַתָּ֖ה H859 unto thee for thou art the LORD יְהוָֹ֥ה H3068 our God אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ H430 23 Truly אָכֵן֙ H403 in vain לַשֶּׁ֛קֶר H8267 is salvation hoped for from the hills מִגְּבָע֖וֹת H1389 and from the multitude הָמ֣וֹן H1995 of mountains הָרִ֑ים H2022 Truly אָכֵן֙ H403 in the LORD בַּיהוָֹ֣ה H3068 our God אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ H430 is the salvation תְּשׁוּעַ֖ת H8668 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 24 For shame וְהַבֹּ֗שֶׁת H1322 hath devoured אָֽכְלָ֛ה H398 אֶת H853 the labour יְגִ֥יעַ H3018 of our fathers אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ H1 from our youth מִנְּעוּרֵ֑ינוּ H5271 אֶת H853 their flocks צֹאנָם֙ H6629 וְאֶת H853 and their herds בְּקָרָ֔ם H1241 אֶת H853 their sons בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם H1121 וְאֶת H853 and their daughters בְּנוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ H1323 25 We lie down נִשְׁכְּבָ֣ה H7901 in our shame בְּבָשְׁתֵּ֗נוּ H1322 covereth וּֽתְכַסֵּנוּ֮ H3680 and our confusion כְּלִמָּתֵנוּ֒ H3639 כִּי֩ H3588 against the LORD יְהוָֹ֥ה H3068 our God אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ H430 us for we have sinned
