law הַמִּצְוָ֥ה H4687 and custom וְהַחֻקִּ֖ים H2706 וְאֶת H853 and that which was open הַגָּלֽוּי׃ H1540 12 And I gave וָאֶתֵּ֞ן H5414 אֶת H853 the book בְּסֵ֣פֶר H5612 of the purchase הַמִּקְנָ֑ה H4736 אֶל H413 unto Baruch בָּר֣וּךְ H1263 the son בֶּן H1121 of Neriah נֵרִיָּה֮ H5374 the son בֶּן H1121 of Maaseiah מַחְסֵיָה֒ H4271 before לְעֵינֵי֙ H5869 of Hanameel חֲנַמְאֵ֣ל H2601 mine uncle's דֹּדִ֔י H1730 before לְעֵינֵי֙ H5869 of the witnesses הָֽעֵדִ֔ים H5707 that subscribed הַכֹּתְבִ֖ים H3789 the book בְּסֵ֣פֶר H5612 of the purchase הַמִּקְנָ֑ה H4736 before לְעֵינֵי֙ H5869 כָּל H3605 לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם H5869 them saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 14 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith אָמַר֩ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֜וֹת H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 Take לָק֣וֹחַ H3947 אֶת H853 and this evidence סֵ֤פֶר H5612 הָאֵ֡לֶּה H428 אֵ֣ת H853 and this evidence סֵ֤פֶר H5612 of the purchase הַמִּקְנָ֨ה H4736 הַזֶּ֜ה H2088 וְאֵ֣ת H853 both which is sealed הֶחָת֗וּם H2856 וְאֵ֨ת I prayed וָאֶתְפַּלֵּ֖ל H6419 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 Now when אַחֲרֵ֤י H310 I had delivered תִתִּי֙ H5414 אֶת H853 the evidence סֵ֣פֶר H5612 of the purchase הַמִּקְנָ֔ה H4736 אֶל H413 unto Baruch בָּר֥וּךְ H1263 the son בֶּן H1121 of Neriah נֵרִיָּ֖ה H5374 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 17 Ah אֲהָהּ֮ H162 Lord אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 יְהוִה֒ H3068 הִנֵּ֣ה׀ H2009 אַתָּ֣ה H859 behold thou hast made עָשִׂ֗יתָ H6213 אֶת H853 the heaven הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 וְאֶת H853 and the earth הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 power בְּכֹֽחֲךָ֙ H3581 by thy great הַגָּד֔וֹל H1419 arm וּבִֽזְרֹעֲךָ֖ H2220 and stretched out הַנְּטוּיָ֑ה H5186 לֹֽא H3808 too hard יִפָּלֵ֥א H6381 מִמְּךָ֖ H4480 כָּל H3605 and there is nothing דָּבָֽר׃ H1697 18 Thou shewest עֹ֤שֶׂה H6213 lovingkindness חֶ֙סֶד֙ H2617 unto thousands לַֽאֲלָפִ֔ים H505 and recompensest וּמְשַׁלֵּם֙ H7999 the iniquity עֲוֹ֣ן H5771 of the fathers אָב֔וֹת H1 אֶל H413 into the bosom חֵ֥יק H2436 of their children בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם H1121 after אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם H310 God הָאֵ֤ל H410 them the Great הַגָּדוֹל֙ H1419 the Mighty הַגִּבּ֔וֹר H1368 the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 is his name שְׁמֽוֹ׃ H8034 19 Great גְּדֹל֙ H1419 in counsel הָֽעֵצָ֔ה H6098 and mighty וְרַ֖ב H7227 in work הָעֲלִֽילִיָּ֑ה H5950 אֲשֶׁר H834 for thine eyes עֵינֶ֣יךָ H5869 are open פְקֻח֗וֹת H6491 עַל H5921 כָּל H3605 according to his ways כִּדְרָכָ֔יו H1870 of the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of men אָדָ֔ם H120 to give לָתֵ֤ת H5414 every one לְאִישׁ֙ H376 according to his ways כִּדְרָכָ֔יו H1870 and according to the fruit וְכִפְרִ֖י H6529 of his doings מַעֲלָלָֽיו׃ H4611 20 אֲשֶׁר H834 Which hast set שַׂ֠מְתָּ H7760 signs אֹת֨וֹת H226 and wonders וּמֹפְתִ֤ים H4159 in the land בְּאֶֽרֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 עַד H5704 as at this day כַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 and in Israel וּבְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 and among other men וּבָֽאָדָ֑ם H120 and hast made וַתַּעֲשֶׂה H6213 לְּךָ֥ H0 thee a name שֵׁ֖ם H8034 as at this day כַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 21 And hast brought forth וַתֹּצֵ֛א H3318 אֶת H853 thy people עַמְּךָ֥ H5971 אֶת H853 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 out of the land מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 with signs בְּאֹת֣וֹת H226 and with wonders וּבְמוֹפְתִ֗ים H4159 hand וּבְיָ֤ד H3027 and with a strong חֲזָקָה֙ H2389 arm וּבְאֶזְר֣וֹעַ H248 and with a stretched out נְטוּיָ֔ה H5186 terror וּבְמוֹרָ֖א H4172 and with great גָּדֽוֹל׃ H1419 22 And hast given לָתֵ֣ת H5414 לָהֶם֙ H0 אֶת H853 them a land אֶ֛רֶץ H776 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 אֲשֶׁר H834 which thou didst swear נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ H7650 to their fathers לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם H1 And hast given לָתֵ֣ת H5414 לָהֶ֑ם H0 them a land אֶ֛רֶץ H776 flowing זָבַ֥ת H2100 with milk חָלָ֖ב H2461 and honey וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ H1706 23 And they came in וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ H935 and possessed וַיִּֽרְשׁ֣וּ H3423 אֹתָ֗הּ H853 וְלֹֽא H3808 it but they obeyed שָׁמְע֤וּ H8085 not thy voice בְקוֹלֶ֙ךָ֙ H6963 in thy law וּבְתֹרָותְךָ֣ H8451 לֹא H3808 neither walked הָלָ֔כוּ H1980 אֵת֩ H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 nothing of all that thou commandedst צִוִּ֧יתָה H6680 לָהֶ֛ם H0 them to do עָשׂ֑וּ H6213 לֹ֣א H3808 them to do עָשׂ֑וּ H6213 to come וַתַּקְרֵ֣א H7122 אֹתָ֔ם H853 אֵ֥ת H853 כָּל H3605 therefore thou hast caused all this evil הָרָעָ֖ה H7451 הַזֹּֽאת׃ H2063 24 הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 Behold the mounts הַסֹּלְל֗וֹת H5550 they are come בָּ֣אוּ H935 it and the city וְהָעִ֣יר H5892 to take לְלָכְדָהּ֒ H3920 it and the city וְהָעִ֣יר H5892 is given נִתְּנָ֗ה H5414 into the hand בְּיַ֤ד H3027 of the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּים֙ H3778 that fight הַנִּלְחָמִ֣ים H3898 עָלֶ֔יהָ H5921 against it because מִפְּנֵ֛י H6440 of the sword הַחֶ֥רֶב H2719 and of the famine וְהָרָעָ֖ב H7458 and of the pestilence וְהַדָּ֑בֶר H1698 וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and what thou hast spoken דִּבַּ֛רְתָּ H1696 הָיָ֖ה H1961 וְהִנְּךָ֥ H2005 is come to pass and behold thou seest רֹאֶֽה׃ H7200 25 וְאַתָּ֞ה H859 And thou hast said אָמַ֤רְתָּ H559 אֵלַי֙ H413 unto me O Lord אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 GOD יְהוִ֔ה H3069 Buy קְנֵֽה H7069 לְךָ֧ H0 thee the field הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה H7704 for money בַּכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 and take וְהָעֵ֣ד H5749 witnesses עֵדִ֑ים H5707 for the city וְהָעִ֥יר H5892 is given נִתְּנָ֖ה H5414 into the hand בְּיַ֥ד H3027 of the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ H3778 26 וַיְהִי֙ H1961 Then came the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 27 הִנֵּה֙ H2009 אֲנִ֣י H589 Behold I am the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 the God אֱלֹהֵ֖י H430 כָּל H3605 of all flesh בָּשָׂ֑ר H1320 הֲֽמִמֶּ֔נִּי H4480 too hard יִפָּלֵ֖א H6381 כָּל H3605 is there any thing דָּבָֽר׃ H1697 28 לָכֵ֕ן H3651 כֹּ֖ה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 הִנְנִ֣י H2005 Behold I will give נֹתֵן֩ H5414 אֶת H853 this city הָעִ֨יר H5892 הַזֹּ֜את H2063 and into the hand וּבְיַ֛ד H3027 of the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּ֗ים H3778 and into the hand וּבְיַ֛ד H3027 of Nebuchadrezzar נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר H5019 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Babylon בָּבֶ֖ל H894 and he shall take וּלְכָדָֽהּ׃ H3920 29 shall come וּבָ֣אוּ H935 And the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּ֗ים H3778 that fight הַנִּלְחָמִים֙ H3898 עַל H5921 against this city הָעִ֥יר H5892 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 and set וְהִצִּ֜יתוּ H3341 אֶת H853 against this city הָעִ֥יר H5892 הַזֹּ֛את H2063 fire בָּאֵ֖שׁ H784 and burn וּשְׂרָפ֑וּהָ H8313 וְאֵ֣ת H854 it with the houses הַבָּתִּ֡ים H1004 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 they have offered incense קִטְּר֨וּ H6999 עַל H5921 upon whose roofs גַּגּֽוֹתֵיהֶ֜ם H1406 unto Baal לַבַּ֗עַל H1168 and poured out וְהִסִּ֤כוּ H5258 drink offerings נְסָכִים֙ H5262 gods לֵאלֹהִ֣ים H430 unto other אֲחֵרִ֔ים H312 לְמַ֖עַן H4616 to provoke me to anger הַכְעִסֵֽנִי׃ H3707 30 כִּֽי H3588 הָי֨וּ H1961 For the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 For the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 אַ֣ךְ H389 have only done עֹשִׂ֥ים H6213 evil הָרַ֛ע H7451 before בְּעֵינַ֖י H5869 me from their youth מִנְּעֻרֹֽתֵיהֶ֑ם H5271 כִּ֣י H3588 For the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 אַ֣ךְ H389 have only provoked me to anger מַכְעִסִ֥ים H3707 אֹתִ֛י H854 with the work בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה H4639 of their hands יְדֵיהֶ֖ם H3027 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 31 כִּ֧י H3588 עַל H5921 hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger אַפִּ֣י H639 וְעַל H5921 and of my fury חֲמָתִ֗י H2534 הָ֤יְתָה H1961 לִּי֙ H0 For this city הָעִ֣יר H5892 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 לְמִן H4480 from the day הַיּ֣וֹם H3117 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that they built בָּנ֣וּ H1129 אוֹתָ֔הּ H853 וְעַ֖ד H5704 from the day הַיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 that I should remove לַהֲסִירָ֖הּ H5493 מֵעַ֥ל H5921 it from before my face פָּנָֽי׃ H6440 32 עַל֩ H5921 כָּל H3605 Because of all the evil רָעַ֨ת H7451 and of the children וּבְנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל H3478 and of the children וּבְנֵ֣י H1121 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 which they have done עָשׂוּ֙ H6213 to provoke me to anger לְהַכְעִסֵ֔נִי H3707 הֵ֤מָּה H1992 they their kings מַלְכֵיהֶם֙ H4428 their princes שָֽׂרֵיהֶ֔ם H8269 their priests כֹּהֲנֵיהֶ֖ם H3548 and their prophets וּנְבִֽיאֵיהֶ֑ם H5030 and the men וְאִ֣ישׁ H376 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and the inhabitants וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י H3427 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 33 And they have turned וַיִּפְנ֥וּ H6437 אֵלַ֛י H413
