H1004 out of the king's הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 and spake וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 אֶל H413 out of the king's הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 9 My lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 the king הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ H4428 have done evil H7458 כִּ֣י H3588 אֵ֥ין H369 where he is for there is no more bread הַלֶּ֛חֶם H3899 ע֖וֹד H5750 in the city בָּעִֽיר׃ H5892 10 commanded וַיְצַוֶּ֣ה H6680 Then the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אֵ֛ת H853 עֶֽבֶד H0 Ebedmelech מֶ֥לֶךְ H5663 the Ethiopian הַכּוּשִׁ֖י H3569 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 Take קַ֣ח H3947 with thee בְּיָדְךָ֤ H3027 מִזֶּה֙ H2088 from hence thirty שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים H7970 אֲנָשִׁ֔ים H376 and take up וְֽהַעֲלִ֜יתָ H5927 אֶֽת H853 Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֧הוּ H3414 the prophet הַנָּבִ֛יא H5030 מִן H4480 out of the dungeon הַבּ֖וֹר H953 בְּטֶ֥רֶם H2962 before he die יָמֽוּת׃ H4191 11 and took וַיִּקַּ֤ח H3947 עֶֽבֶד H0 So Ebedmelech מֶ֨לֶךְ H5663 אֶת H853 הָאֲנָשִׁ֜ים H376 with him בְּיָד֗וֹ H3027 and went וַיָּבֹ֤א H935 into the house בֵית H1004 of the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 אֶל H413 תַּ֣חַת H8478 under the treasury הָאוֹצָ֔ר H214 and took וַיִּקַּ֤ח H3947 מִשָּׁם֙ H8033 and old וּבְלוֹיֵ֖ H1094 cast clouts הסְחָב֔וֹת H5499 and old וּבְלוֹיֵ֖ H1094 rotten rags מְלָחִ֑ים H4418 and let them down וַיְשַׁלְּחֵ֧ם H7971 אֶֽל H413 to Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֛הוּ H3414 אֶל H413 into the dungeon הַבּ֖וֹר H953 by cords בַּחֲבָלִֽים׃ H2256 12 said וַיֹּ֡אמֶר H559 עֶבֶד H0 And Ebedmelech מֶ֨לֶךְ H4418 תַּ֚חַת H8478 under thine armholes אַצִּל֣וֹת H679 יָדֶ֔יךָ H3027 מִתַּ֖חַת H8478 under the cords לַחֲבָלִ֑ים H2256 did וַיַּ֥עַשׂ H6213 And Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 כֵּֽן׃ H3651 13 So they drew up וַיִּמְשְׁכ֤וּ H4900 אֶֽת H853 Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ H3414 with cords בַּֽחֲבָלִ֔ים H2256 and took him up וַיַּעֲל֥וּ H5927 אֹת֖וֹ H853 מִן H4480 out of the dungeon הַבּ֑וֹר H953 remained וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב H3427 Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ H3414 in the court בַּחֲצַ֖ר H2691 of the prison הַמַּטָּרָֽה׃ H4307 14 sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח H7971 and the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 Then Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֗הוּ H6667 and took וַיִּקַּ֞ח H3947 אֶֽת H853 Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ H3414 the prophet הַנָּבִיא֙ H5030 אֵלָ֔יו H413 אֶל H413 entry מָבוֹא֙ H3996 unto him into the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י H7992 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 that is thing דָּבָֽר׃ H1697 אַל H408 hide תְּכַחֵ֥ד H3582 מִמֶּ֖נִּי H4480 thee a thing דָּבָֽר׃ H1697 15 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 Then Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ H3414 אֶל H413 unto Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ H6667 כִּ֚י H3588 If I declare אַגִּ֣יד H5046 לְךָ֔ H0 הֲל֖וֹא H3808 it unto thee wilt thou not surely תְּמִיתֵ֑נִי H4191 it unto thee wilt thou not surely תְּמִיתֵ֑נִי H4191 וְכִי֙ H3588 and if I give thee counsel אִיעָ֣צְךָ֔ H3289 לֹ֥א H3808 wilt thou not hearken תִשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 אֵלָֽי׃ H413 16 sware וַיִּשָּׁבַ֞ע H7650 the king הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ H4428 So Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֛הוּ H6667 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 secretly בַּסֵּ֣תֶר H5643 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 liveth חַי H2416 As the LORD יְהוָ֞ה H3068 אֶת H853 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 that made עָשָׂה H6213 לָ֨נוּ H0 אֶת H853 thy life נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ H5315 הַזֹּאת֙ H2063 אִם H518 I will not put thee to death אֲמִיתֶ֔ךָ H4191 וְאִם H518 neither will I give אֶתֶּנְךָ֗ H5414 thee into the hand בְּיַד֙ H3027 הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים H376 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that seek מְבַקְשִׁ֖ים H1245 אֶת H853 thy life נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ H5315 17 Then said אָמַ֣ר H559 Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ H3414 אֶל H413 unto Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֡הוּ H6667 כֹּֽה H3541 Then said אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָה֩ H3068 the God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of hosts צְבָא֜וֹת H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 אִם H518 If thou wilt assuredly תֵצֵ֜א H3318 If thou wilt assuredly תֵצֵ֜א H3318 אֶל H413 princes שָׂרֵ֤י H8269 unto the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Babylon's בָּבֶל֙ H894 and thou shalt live וְחָיִ֖תָה H2421 then thy soul נַפְשֶׁ֔ךָ H5315 and this city וְהָעִ֣יר H5892 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 לֹ֥א H3808 shall not be burned תִשָּׂרֵ֖ף H8313 with fire בָּאֵ֑שׁ H784 and thou shalt live וְחָיִ֖תָה H2421 אַתָּ֥ה H859 and thine house וּבֵיתֶֽךָ׃ H1004 18 וְאִ֣ם H518 לֹֽא H3808 But if thou wilt not go forth תֵצֵ֗א H3318 אֶל H413 princes שָׂרֵי֙ H8269 to the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Babylon's בָּבֶ֔ל H894 be given וְנִתְּנָ֞ה H5414 then shall this city הָעִ֤יר H5892 הַזֹּאת֙ H2063 into the hand מִיָּדָֽם׃ H3027 of the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים H3778 and they shall burn וּשְׂרָפ֖וּהָ H8313 it with fire בָּאֵ֑שׁ H784 וְאַתָּ֖ה H859 לֹֽא H3808 and thou shalt not escape out תִמָּלֵ֥ט H4422 into the hand מִיָּדָֽם׃ H3027 19 said וַיֹּ֛אמֶר H559 the king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 And Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ H6667 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ H3414 אֲנִ֧י H589 I am afraid דֹאֵ֣ג H1672 אֶת H853 of the Jews הַיְּהוּדִ֗ים H3064 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 that are fallen נָֽפְלוּ֙ H5307 אֶל H413 to the Chaldeans הַכַּשְׂדִּ֔ים H3778 פֶּֽן H6435 lest they deliver יִתְּנ֥וּ H5414 אֹתִ֛י H853 me into their hand בְּיָדָ֖ם H3027 and they mock וְהִתְעַלְּלוּ H5953 בִֽי׃ H0 20 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 But Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 לֹ֣א H3808 They shall not deliver יִתֵּ֑נוּ H5414 thee Obey שְֽׁמַֽע H8085 נָ֣א׀ H4994 I beseech thee the voice בְּק֣וֹל H6963 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 לַאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 אֲנִי֙ H589 which I speak דֹּבֵ֣ר H1696 אֵלֶ֔יךָ H413 unto thee so it shall be well וְיִ֥יטַב H3190 לְךָ֖ H0 shall live וּתְחִ֥י H2421 unto thee and thy soul נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ H5315 21 וְאִם H518 But if thou refuse מָאֵ֥ן H3986 אַתָּ֖ה H859 to go forth לָצֵ֑את H3318 זֶ֣ה H2088 this is the word הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 hath shewed הִרְאַ֖נִי H7200 that the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 22 וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 כָל H3605 And behold all the women הַנָּשִׁ֗ים H802 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 that are left נִשְׁאֲרוּ֙ H7604 house בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 in the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Judah's יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 shall be brought forth מוּצָא֕וֹת H3318 אֶל H413 princes שָׂרֵ֖י H8269 in the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Babylon's בָּבֶ֑ל H894 וְהֵ֣נָּה H2007 and those women shall say אֹמְרֹ֗ת H559 have set thee on הִסִּית֜וּךָ H5496 and have prevailed וְיָכְל֤וּ H3201 לְךָ֙ H0 אַנְשֵׁ֣י H376 שְׁלֹמֶ֔ךָ H7965 are sunk הָטְבְּע֥וּ H2883 in the mire burned תִּשְׂרֹ֥ף H8313 with fire בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ H784 24 Then said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֜הוּ H6667 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ H3414 Let no man אִ֛ישׁ H376 אַל H408 know יֵדַ֥ע H3045 of these words בַּדְּבָֽרִים H1697 הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and thou shalt not die תָמֽוּת׃ H4191 25 וְכִֽי H3588 hear יִשְׁמְע֣וּ H8085 But if the princes הַשָּׂרִים֮ H8269 כִּֽי H3588 said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אִתָּךְ֒ H854 with thee and they come וּבָ֣אוּ H935 אֵלֶ֣יךָ H413 unto thee and say וְֽאָמְר֪וּ H559 אֵלֶ֟יךָ H413 unto thee Declare הַגִּֽידָה H5046 נָּ֨א H4994 לָ֜נוּ H0 מַה H4100 said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֶל H413 also what the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 אַל H408 hide תְּכַחֵ֥ד H3582 מִמֶּ֖נּוּ H4480 וְלֹ֣א H3808 it not from us and we will not put thee to death נְמִיתֶ֑ךָ H4191 וּמַה H4100 said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֵלֶ֖יךָ H413 also what the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 26 Then thou shalt say וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ H559 אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם H413 unto them I presented מַפִּיל H5307 אֲנִ֥י H589 my supplication תְחִנָּתִ֖י H8467 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 לְבִלְתִּ֧י H1115 that he would not cause me to return הֲשִׁיבֵ֛נִי H7725 house בֵּ֥ית H1004 to Jonathan's יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן H3083 to die לָמ֥וּת H4191 שָֽׁם׃ H8033 27 Then came וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ H935 כָל H3605 all the princes הַשָּׂרִ֤ים H8269 אֶֽל H413 unto Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ H3414 and asked וַיִּשְׁאֲל֣וּ H7592 אֹת֔וֹ H853 him and he told וַיַּגֵּ֤ד H5046 לָהֶם֙ H1992 כְּכָל H3605 them according to all these words הַדָּבָֽר׃ H1697 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 had commanded צִוָּ֖ה H6680 that the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 So they left off speaking וַיַּחֲרִ֣שׁוּ H2790 מִמֶּ֔נּוּ H4480 כִּ֥י H3588 לֹֽא H3808 was not perceived נִשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 them according to all these words הַדָּבָֽר׃ H1697 28 abode וַיֵּ֤שֶׁב H3427 So Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ H3414 in the court בַּחֲצַ֣ר H2691 of the prison הַמַּטָּרָ֔ה H4307 עַד H5704 until the day י֖וֹם H3117 אֲשֶׁר H834 was taken נִלְכְּדָ֖ה H3920 and he was there when Jerusalem
