set נָתַ֥תִּי H5414 before וְלִפְנֵ֥י H6440 before וְלִפְנֵ֥י H6440 your fathers אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ H1 11 לָכֵ֗ן H3651 כֹּֽה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֞ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will set שָׂ֥ם H7760 my face פָּנַ֛י H6440 בָּכֶ֖ם H0 against you for evil לְרָעָ֑ה H7451 and to cut off וּלְהַכְרִ֖ית H3772 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 12 And I will take וְלָקַחְתִּ֞י H3947 אֶת H853 the remnant שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 אֲשֶׁר H834 that have set שָׂ֨מוּ H7760 their faces פְנֵיהֶ֜ם H6440 to go לָב֣וֹא H935 in the land בְּאֶ֧רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֣יִם H4714 to sojourn לָג֣וּר H1481 שָׁם֒ H8033 there and they shall all be consumed יִתַּ֔מּוּ H8552 כֹ֜ל H3605 in the land בְּאֶ֧רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֣יִם H4714 and fall יִפֹּ֗לוּ H5307 by the sword בַּחֶ֥רֶב H2719 and by the famine וּבָרָעָ֖ב H7458 there and they shall all be consumed יִתַּ֔מּוּ H8552 from the least מִקָּטֹן֙ H6996 וְעַד H5704 even unto the greatest גָּד֔וֹל H1419 by the sword בַּחֶ֥רֶב H2719 and by the famine וּבָרָעָ֖ב H7458 they shall die יָמֻ֑תוּ H4191 וְהָיוּ֙ H1961 and they shall dwell הַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙ H3427 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 For I will punish פָּקַ֖דְתִּי H6485 עַל H5921 Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 by the sword בַּחֶ֖רֶב H2719 by the famine בָּרָעָ֖ב H7458 and by the pestilence וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ H1698 14 וְלֹ֨א H3808 יִהְיֶ֜ה H1961 there shall escape פְּלֵטִֽים׃ H6412 or remain וְשָׂרִיד֙ H8300 So that none of the remnant לִשְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 which are gone הַבָּאִ֥ים H935 to sojourn לָגֽוּר H1481 שָׁ֖ם H8033 into the land אֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 that they should return יָשׁ֖וּבוּ H7725 into the land אֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 אֲשֶׁר H834 הֵ֜מָּה H1992 to the which they have מְנַשְּׂאִ֤ים H5375 אֶת H853 a desire נַפְשָׁם֙ H5315 that they should return יָשׁ֖וּבוּ H7725 עָשִׂ֜ינוּ H6213 But we will certainly עָשִׂ֜ינוּ H6213 אֶֽת H853 כָּל H3605 whatsoever thing הַדָּבָ֣ר׀ H1697 אֲשֶׁר H834 goeth forth יָצָ֣א H3318 out of our own mouth מִפִּ֗ינוּ H6310 to burn incense לְקַטֵּ֞ר H6999 unto the queen לִמְלֶ֣כֶת H4446 of heaven הַשָּׁמַיִם֮ H8064 and to pour out וְהַסֵּֽיךְ H5258 לָ֣הּ H0 drink offerings נְסָכִים֒ H5262 כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 But we will certainly עָשִׂ֜ינוּ H6213 אֲנַ֤חְנוּ H587 we and our fathers וַאֲבֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ H1 our kings מְלָכֵ֣ינוּ H4428 and our princes וְשָׂרֵ֔ינוּ H8269 in the cities בְּעָרֵ֣י H5892 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and in the streets וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת H2351 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם H3389 for then had we plenty וַנִּֽשְׂבַּֽע H7646 of victuals לֶ֙חֶם֙ H3899 וַנִּֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 and were well טוֹבִ֔ים H2896 no evil וְרָעָ֖ה H7451 לֹ֥א H3808 and saw רָאִֽינוּ׃ H7200 18 וּמִן H4480 אָ֡ז H227 But since we left off חָדַ֜לְנוּ H2308 to burn incense לְקַטֵּ֨ר H6999 to the queen לִמְלֶ֧כֶת H4446 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם H8064 and to pour out וְהַסֵּֽךְ H5258 לָ֥הּ H0 drink offerings נְסָכִ֖ים H5262 unto her we have wanted חָסַ֣רְנוּ H2637 כֹ֑ל H3605 by the sword וּבַחֶ֥רֶב H2719 and by the famine וּבָרָעָ֖ב H7458 all things and have been consumed תָּֽמְנוּ׃ H8552 19 וְכִֽי H3588 אֲנַ֤חְנוּ H587 And when we burned incense מְקַטְּרִים֙ H6999 to the queen לִמְלֶ֣כֶת H4446 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 and poured out וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ H5258 לָ֖הּ H0 drink offerings נְסָכִֽים׃ H5262 unto her without הֲמִֽבַּלְעֲדֵ֣י H1107 our men אֲנָשֵׁ֗ינוּ H582 unto her did we make עָשִׂ֨ינוּ H6213 לָ֤הּ H0 her cakes כַּוָּנִים֙ H3561 to worship לְהַ֣עֲצִבָ֔ה H6087 and poured out וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ H5258 לָ֖הּ H0 drink offerings נְסָכִֽים׃ H5262 20 said לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 Then Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 אֶל H413 כָּל H3605 and to all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 עַל H5921 to the men הַגְּבָרִ֤ים H1397 וְעַל H5921 and to the women הַנָּשִׁים֙ H802 וְעַל H5921 כָּל H3605 and to all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 הָעֹנִ֥ים H6030 אֹת֛וֹ H853 which had given him that answer דָּבָ֖ר H1697 said לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 21 הֲל֣וֹא H3808 אֶת H853 that ye burned הַקִּטֵּ֗ר H6999 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 The incense קִטַּרְתֶּ֜ם H7002 in the cities בְּעָרֵ֤י H5892 of Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 and in the streets וּבְחֻצ֣וֹת H2351 of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 אַתֶּ֧ם H859 ye and your fathers וַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם H1 your kings מַלְכֵיכֶ֥ם H4428 and your princes וְשָׂרֵיכֶ֖ם H8269 and the people וְעַ֣ם H5971 of the land הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 אֹתָם֙ H853 remember זָכַ֣ר H2142 did not the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 them and came וַֽתַּעֲלֶ֖ה H5927 עַל H5921 it not into his mind לִבּֽוֹ׃ H3820 22 וְלֹֽא H3808 could יוּכַל֩ H3201 So that the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 ע֜וֹד H5750 no longer bear לָשֵׂ֗את H5375 and because מִפְּנֵ֥י H6440 of the evil רֹ֣עַ H7455 of your doings מַעַלְלֵיכֶ֔ם H4611 and because מִפְּנֵ֥י H6440 of the abominations הַתּוֹעֵבֹ֖ת H8441 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which ye have committed עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם H6213 וַתְּהִ֣י H1961 therefore is your land אַ֠רְצְכֶם H776 a desolation לְחָרְבָּ֨ה H2723 and an astonishment וּלְשַׁמָּ֧ה H8047 and a curse וְלִקְלָלָ֛ה H7045 מֵאֵ֥ין H369 without an inhabitant יוֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 as at this day כְּהַיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 23 Because מִפְּנֵי֩ H6440 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 ye have burned incense קִטַּרְתֶּ֜ם H6999 וַאֲשֶׁ֧ר H834 and because ye have sinned חֲטָאתֶ֣ם H2398 against the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 וְלֹ֤א H3808 and have not obeyed שְׁמַעְתֶּם֙ H8085 the voice בְּק֣וֹל H6963 against the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 in his law וּבְתֹרָת֧וֹ H8451 nor in his statutes וּבְחֻקֹּתָ֛יו H2708 nor in his testimonies וּבְעֵדְוֺתָ֖יו H5715 לֹ֣א H3808 nor walked הֲלַכְתֶּ֑ם H1980 עַל H5921 כֵּ֞ן H3651 is happened קָרָ֥את H7122 אֶתְכֶ֛ם H853 therefore this evil הָרָעָ֥ה H7451 הַזֹּ֖את H2063 unto you as at this day כַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 24 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 Moreover Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ H3414 אֶל H413 כָּל H3605 unto all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 וְאֶ֖ל H413 כָּל H3605 and to all the women הַנָּשִׁ֑ים H802 Hear שִׁמְעוּ֙ H8085 the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 כָּל H3605 all Judah יְהוּדָ֕ה H3063 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 that are in the land בְּאֶ֥רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 25 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith לֵאמֹר֒ H559 the LORD יְהוָֽה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֩ H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֨י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל H3478 Thus saith לֵאמֹר֒ H559 אַתֶּ֨ם H859 Ye and your wives וּנְשֵׁיכֶ֜ם H802 have both spoken וַתְּדַבֵּ֣רְנָה H1696 with your mouths בְּפִיכֶם֮ H6310 with your hand וּבִידֵיכֶ֣ם H3027 and fulfilled מִלֵּאתֶ֣ם׀ H4390 Thus saith לֵאמֹר֒ H559 We will surely תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה H6213 We will surely תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה H6213 אֶת H853 our vows נִדְרֵיכֶֽם׃ H5088 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 that we have vowed נָדַ֙רְנוּ֙ H5087 to burn incense לְקַטֵּר֙ H6999 to the queen לִמְלֶ֣כֶת H4446 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 and to pour out וּלְהַסֵּ֥ךְ H5258 לָ֖הּ H0 drink offerings נְסָכִ֑ים H5262 accomplish תָּקִ֙ימְנָה֙ H6965 accomplish תָּקִ֙ימְנָה֙ H6965 אֶת H853 our vows נִדְרֵיכֶֽם׃ H5088 We will surely תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה H6213 We will surely תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים H3427 in all the land אֶ֥רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I have sworn נִשְׁבַּ֜עְתִּי H7650 name שְׁמִ֜י H8034 by my great הַגָּדוֹל֙ H1419 saith אֹמֵ֛ר H559 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אִם H518 יִהְיֶה֩ H1961 ע֨וֹד H5750 name שְׁמִ֜י H8034 shall no more be named נִקְרָ֣א׀ H7121 in the mouth בְּפִ֣י׀ H6310 כָּל H3605 of any man אִ֣ישׁ H376 all Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה Yet a small מְתֵ֣י H4962 number מִסְפָּ֑ר H4557 there shall know וְֽיָדְע֞וּ H3045 כָּל H3605 and all the remnant שְׁאֵרִ֣ית H7611 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 that are gone הַבָּאִ֤ים H935 into the land לְאֶֽרֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 to sojourn לָג֣וּר H1481 שָׁ֔ם H8033 whose words דְּבַר H1697 מִ֥י H4310 shall stand יָק֖וּם H6965 מִמֶּ֥נִּי H4480 וּמֵהֶֽם׃ H1992 29 וְזֹאת H2063 לָכֶ֤ם H0
