multitude הֲמ֥וֹן H1995 of waters מַ֙יִם֙ H4325 in the heavens בַּשָּׁמַ֔יִם H8064 to ascend וַיַּ֥עַל H5927 and he causeth the vapours נְשִׂאִ֖ים H5387 from the ends מִקְצֵה H7097 of the earth אָ֑רֶץ to all the inhabitants יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י H3427 of Chaldea כַשְׂדִּ֗ים H3778 אֵ֧ת H853 כָּל H3605 all their evil רָעָתָ֛ם H7451 אֲשֶׁר H834 that they have done עָשׂ֥וּ H6213 in Zion בְצִיּ֖וֹן H6726 in your sight לְעֵֽינֵיכֶ֑ם H5869 saith נְאֻ֖ם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 25 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 אֵלֶ֜יךָ H413 mountain לְהַ֥ר H2022 Behold I am against thee O destroying הַמַּשְׁחִית֙ H4889 saith נְאֻם H5002 thee and roll thee down וְגִלְגַּלְתִּ֙יךָ֙ H1556 מִן H4480 from the rocks הַסְּלָעִ֔ים H5553 and will make וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ H5414 mountain לְהַ֥ר H2022 thee a burnt שְׂרֵפָֽה׃ H8316 26 וְלֹֽא H3808 And they shall not take יִקְח֤וּ H3947 מִמְּךָ֙ H4480 nor a stone וְאֶ֖בֶן H68 for a corner לְפִנָּ֔ה H6438 nor a stone וְאֶ֖בֶן H68 for foundations לְמֽוֹסָד֑וֹת H4146 כִּֽי H3588 but thou shalt be desolate שִׁמְמ֥וֹת H8077 for ever עוֹלָ֛ם H5769 תִּֽהְיֶ֖ה H1961 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 27 Set ye up שְׂאוּ H5375 a standard נֵ֣ס H5251 in the land בָּאָ֗רֶץ H776 blow תִּקְע֨וּ H8628 the trumpet שׁוֹפָ֤ר H7782 among the nations גּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 prepare קַדְּשׁ֤וּ H6942 עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ H5921 among the nations גּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 against her call together הַשְׁמִ֧יעוּ H8085 עָלֶ֛יהָ H5921 thresh הִדְרִיכָ֑הּ H1869 ע֣וֹד H5750 her yet a little while מְעַ֔ט H4592 shall come וּבָ֥אָה H935 and the time עֵֽת H6256 of her harvest הַקָּצִ֖יר H7105 לָֽהּ׃ H0 34 hath devoured אֲכָלַ֣נִו H398 me he hath crushed הֲמָמַ֗נִו H2000 Nebuchadrezzar נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּר֮ H5019 the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Babylon בָּבֶל֒ H894 me he hath made הִצִּיגַ֙נִו֙ H3322 vessel כְּלִ֣י H3627 me an empty רִ֔יק H7385 saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנְנִי H2005 Behold I will plead רָב֙ H7378 אֶת H853 thy cause רִיבֵ֔ךְ H7379 and take vengeance וְנִקַּמְתִּ֖י H5358 אֶת H853 for thee נִקְמָתֵ֑ךְ H5360 and I will dry up וְהַחֲרַבְתִּי֙ H2717 אֶת H853 her sea יַמָּ֔הּ H3220 dry וְהֹבַשְׁתִּ֖י H3001 אֶת H853 and make her springs מְקוֹרָֽהּ׃ H4726 37 וְהָיְתָה֩ H1961 And Babylon בָבֶ֨ל׀ H894 shall become heaps לְגַלִּ֧ים׀ H1530 a dwellingplace מְעוֹן H4583 for dragons תַּנִּ֛ים H8577 an astonishment שַׁמָּ֥ה H8047 and an hissing וּשְׁרֵקָ֖ה H8322 מֵאֵ֥ין H369 without an inhabitant יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ H3427 38 together יַחְדָּ֖ו H3162 like lions כַּכְּפִרִ֣ים H3715 They shall roar יִשְׁאָ֑גוּ H7580 they shall yell נָעֲר֖וּ H5286 whelps כְּגוֹרֵ֥י H1484 as lions אֲרָיֽוֹת׃ H738 39 In their heat בְּחֻמָּ֞ם יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ H3414 אֶל H413 to Seraiah שְׂרָיָ֑ה H8304 When thou comest כְּבֹאֲךָ֣ H935 to Babylon בָבֶ֔ל H894 and shalt see וְֽרָאִ֔יתָ H7200 and shalt read וְֽקָרָ֔אתָ H7121 אֵ֥ת H853 כָּל H3605 all
