my words דְּבָרַי֙ H1697 לֹ֣א H3808 because they have not hearkened הִקְשִׁ֔יבוּ H7181 nor to my law וְתוֹרָתִ֖י H8451 but rejected וַיִּמְאֲסוּ H3988 בָֽהּ׃ H0 20 לָמָּה H4100 זֶּ֨ה H2088 לִ֤י H0 there to me incense לְבוֹנָה֙ H3828 from Sheba מִשְּׁבָ֣א H7614 To what purpose cometh תָב֔וֹא H935 cane וְקָנֶ֥ה H7070 and the sweet הַטּ֖וֹב H2896 country מֵאֶ֣רֶץ H776 from a far מֶרְחָ֑ק H4801 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנְנִ֥י H2005 Behold I will lay נֹתֵ֛ן H5414 אֶל H413 before this people הָעָ֥ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 stumblingblocks מִכְשֹׁלִ֑ים H4383 shall fall וְכָ֣שְׁלוּ H3782 בָ֠ם H0 and the fathers אָב֨וֹת H1 and the sons וּבָנִ֥ים H1121 together יַחְדָּ֛ו H3162 upon them the neighbour שָׁכֵ֥ן H7934 and his friend וְרֵע֖וֹ H7453 shall perish יְאָבָֽדוּ׃ H6 22 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 Behold a people עַ֥ם H5971 cometh בָּ֖א H935 country אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 from the north צָפ֑וֹן H6828 nation וְג֣וֹי H1471 and a great גָּד֔וֹל H1419 shall be raised יֵע֖וֹר H5782 from the sides מִיַּרְכְּתֵי H3411 country אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 23 on bow קֶ֣שֶׁת H7198 and spear וְכִיד֞וֹן H3591 They shall lay hold יַחֲזִ֗יקוּ H2388 they are cruel אַכְזָרִ֥י H394 הוּא֙ H1931 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and have no mercy יְרַחֵ֔מוּ H7355 their voice קוֹלָם֙ H6963 like the sea כַּיָּ֣ם H3220 roareth יֶהֱמֶ֔ה H1993 וְעַל H5921 upon horses סוּסִ֖ים H5483 and they ride יִרְכָּ֑בוּ H7392 set in array עָר֗וּךְ H6186 as men כְּאִישׁ֙ H376 for war לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 עָלַ֖יִךְ H5921 against thee O daughter בַּת H1323 of Zion צִיּֽוֹן׃ H6726 24 We have heard שָׁמַ֥עְנוּ H8085 אֶת H853 the fame שָׁמְע֖וֹ H8089 wax feeble רָפ֣וּ H7503 thereof our hands יָדֵ֑ינוּ H3027 anguish צָרָה֙ H6869 hath taken hold הֶחֱזִקַ֔תְנוּ H2388
