the habitations נְא֤וֹת H4999 of the wilderness מִדְבָּר֙ H4057 a lamentation קִינָ֔ה H7015 כִּ֤י H3588 because they are burned up נִצְּתוּ֙ H3341 מִבְּלִי H1097 so that none אִ֣ישׁ H376 can pass עֹבֵ֔ר H5674 וְלֹ֥א H3808 through them neither can men hear שָׁמְע֖וּ H8085 the voice ק֣וֹל H6963 of the cattle מִקְנֶ֑ה H4735 both the fowl מֵע֤וֹף H5775 of the heavens הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 וְעַד H5704 and the beast בְּהֵמָ֔ה H929 are fled נָדְד֖וּ H5074 they are gone הָלָֽכוּ׃ H1980 11 And I will make אֶתֵּ֥ן H5414 אֶת H853 Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם H3389 heaps לְגַלִּ֖ים H1530 and a den מְע֣וֹן H4583 of dragons תַּנִּ֑ים H8577 וְאֶת H853 the cities עָרֵ֧י H5892 of Judah יְהוּדָ֛ה H3063 And I will make אֶתֵּ֥ן H5414 desolate שְׁמָמָ֖ה H8077 מִבְּלִ֖י H1097 without an inhabitant יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ H3427 12 מִֽי H4310 man הָאִ֤ישׁ H376 Who is the wise הֶֽחָכָם֙ H2450 that may understand וְיָבֵ֣ן H995 אֶת H853 זֹ֔את H2063 וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 hath spoken דִּבֶּ֧ר H1696 this and who is he to whom the mouth פִּֽי H6310 of the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 אֵלָ֖יו H413 that he may declare וְיַגִּדָ֑הּ H5046 עַל H5921 מָה֙ H4100 perisheth אָבְדָ֣ה H6 it for what the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 and is burned up נִצְּתָ֥ה H3341 like a wilderness כַמִּדְבָּ֖ר H4057 מִבְּלִ֖י H1097 that none passeth through עֹבֵֽר׃ H5674 13 saith וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 עַל H5921 Because they have forsaken עָזְבָם֙ H5800 אֶת H853 my law תּ֣וֹרָתִ֔י H8451 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which I set נָתַ֖תִּי H5414 before לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם H6440 וְלֹא H3808 them and have not obeyed שָׁמְע֥וּ H8085 my voice בְקוֹלִ֖י H6963 וְלֹא H3808 neither walked הָ֥לְכוּ H1980 בָֽהּ׃ H0 14 וַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּ H1980 after וְאַחֲרֵי֙ H310 the imagination שְׁרִר֣וּת H8307 of their own heart לִבָּ֑ם H3820 after וְאַחֲרֵי֙ H310 Baalim הַבְּעָלִ֔ים H1168 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 taught לִמְּד֖וּם H3925 which their fathers אֲבוֹתָֽם׃ H1 15 לָכֵ֗ן H3651 כֹּֽה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֞ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 of hosts צְבָאוֹת֙ H6635 the God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 הִנְנִ֧י H2005 Behold I will feed מַאֲכִילָ֛ם H398 אֶת H853 them even this people הָעָ֥ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 with wormwood לַֽעֲנָ֑ה H3939 to drink וְהִשְׁקִיתִ֖ים H8248 and give them water מֵי H4325 of gall רֹֽאשׁ׃ H7219 16 I will scatter וַהֲפִֽצוֹתִים֙ H6327 them also among the heathen בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 לֹ֣א H3808 have known יָֽדְע֔וּ H3045 הֵ֖מָּה H1992 whom neither they nor their fathers וַֽאֲבוֹתָ֑ם H1 and I will send וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י H7971 after אַֽחֲרֵיהֶם֙ H310 אֶת H853 a sword הַחֶ֔רֶב H2719 עַ֥ד H5704 them till I have consumed כַּלּוֹתִ֖י H3615 אוֹתָֽם׃ H853 17 כֹּ֤ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַר֙ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 of hosts צְבָא֔וֹת H6635 Consider הִתְבּֽוֹנְנ֛וּ H995 ye and call וְקִרְא֥וּ H7121 for the mourning women לַמְקוֹנְנ֖וֹת H6969 that they may come וְתָבֽוֹאנָה׃ H935 וְאֶל H413 for cunning הַחֲכָמ֥וֹת H2450 and send שִׁלְח֖וּ H7971 that they may come וְתָבֽוֹאנָה׃ H935 18 And let them make haste וּתְמַהֵ֕רְנָה H4116 and take up וְתִשֶּׂ֥נָה H5375 עָלֵ֖ינוּ H5921 a wailing נֶ֑הִי H5092 may run down וְתֵרַ֤דְנָה H3381 for us that our eyes עֵינֵ֙ינוּ֙ H5869 with tears דִּמְעָ֔ה H1832 and H7339 22 Speak דַּבֵּ֗ר H1696 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 shall fall וְנָֽפְלָה֙ H5307 Even the carcases נִבְלַ֣ת H5038 of men הָֽאָדָ֔ם H120 as dung כְּדֹ֖מֶן H1828 עַל H5921 upon the open פְּנֵ֣י H6440 field הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה H7704 and as the handful וּכְעָמִ֛יר H5995 after מֵאַחֲרֵ֥י H310 the harvestman הַקֹּצֵ֖ר H7114 וְאֵ֥ין H369 and none shall gather מְאַסֵּֽף׃ H622 23
