H776 man אִ֣ישׁ H376 a perfect תָּ֧ם H8535 and an upright וְיָשָׁ֛ר H3477 one that feareth יְרֵ֥א H3373 God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 and escheweth וְסָ֣ר H5493 evil מֵרָ֑ע H7451 וְעֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙ H5750 and still he holdeth fast מַֽחֲזִ֣יק H2388 his integrity בְּתֻמָּת֔וֹ H8538 although thou movedst וַתְּסִיתֵ֥נִי H5496 ב֖וֹ H0 me against him to destroy לְבַלְּע֥וֹ H1104 him without cause חִנָּֽם׃ H2600 4 וַיֵּצֵא֙ H3318 Satan הַשָּׂטָ֔ן H7854 מֵאֵ֖ת H853 from the presence פְּנֵ֣י H6440 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 and smote וַיַּ֤ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 Job אִיּוֹב֙ H347 boils בִּשְׁחִ֣ין H7822 with sore רָ֔ע H7451 from the sole מִכַּ֥ף H3709 of his foot רַגְל֖וֹ H7272 עַ֥ד H5704 unto his crown קָדְקֳדֽוֹ׃ H6936 8 And he took וַיִּֽקַּֽח H3947 ל֣וֹ H0 him a potsherd חֶ֔רֶשׂ H2789 to scrape לְהִתְגָּרֵ֖ד H1623 בּ֑וֹ H0 וְה֖וּא H1931 himself withal and he sat down יֹשֵׁ֥ב H3427 among בְּתוֹךְ H8432 the ashes הָאֵֽפֶר׃ H665 9 Then said וַתֹּ֤אמֶר H559 לוֹ֙ H0 his wife אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ H802 עֹֽדְךָ֖ H5750 unto him Dost thou still retain מַֽחֲזִ֣יק H2388 thine integrity בְּתֻמָּתֶ֑ךָ H8538 curse בָּרֵ֥ךְ H1288 God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 and die וָמֻֽת׃ H4191 10 But he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלֶ֗יהָ H413 speaketh תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי H1696 as one אַחַ֤ת H259 of the foolish women הַנְּבָלוֹת֙ H5036 speaketh תְּדַבֵּ֔רִי H1696 What גַּ֣ם H1571 אֶת H853 good הַטּ֗וֹב H2896 and shall we not receive נְקַבֵּ֑ל H6901 מֵאֵ֣ת הָֽרָעָ֣ה H7451 הַזֹּאת֮ H2063 that was come לָב֥וֹא H935 עָלָיו֒ H5921 that was come לָב֥וֹא H935 every one אִ֣ישׁ H376 from his own place מִמְּקֹמ֔וֹ H4725 Eliphaz אֱלִיפַ֤ז H464 the Temanite הַתֵּֽימָנִי֙ H8489 and Bildad וּבִלְדַּ֣ד H1085 the Shuhite הַשּׁוּחִ֔י H7747 and Zophar וְצוֹפַ֖ר H6691 the Naamathite הַנַּֽעֲמָתִ֑י H5284 for they had made an appointment וַיִּוָּֽעֲד֣וּ H3259 together יַחְדָּ֔ו H3162 that was come לָב֥וֹא H935 to mourn לָנֽוּד H5110 ל֖וֹ H0 with him and to comfort וּֽלְנַחֲמֽוֹ׃ H5162 12 And when they lifted up וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ H5375 אֶת H853 their eyes עֵֽינֵיהֶ֤ם H5869 afar off מֵֽרָחוֹק֙ H7350 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and knew הִכִּירֻ֔הוּ H5234 And when they lifted up וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ H5375 their voice קוֹלָ֖ם H6963 and wept וַיִּבְכּ֑וּ H1058 and they rent וַֽיִּקְרְעוּ֙ H7167 every one אִ֣ישׁ H376 his mantle מְעִל֔וֹ H4598 and sprinkled וַיִּזְרְק֥וּ H2236 dust עָפָ֛ר H6083 עַל H5921 upon their heads רָֽאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם H7218 toward heaven הַשָּׁמָֽיְמָה׃ H8064 13 So they sat down וַיֵּֽשְׁב֤וּ H3427 אִתּוֹ֙ H854 with him upon the ground לָאָ֔רֶץ H776 and seven וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת H7651 days יָמִ֖ים H3117 and seven וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת H7651 nights לֵיל֑וֹת H3915
