and let others אֲחֵרִֽין׃ H312 11 כִּי H3588 הִ֥וא H1931 For this is an heinous crime זִמָּ֑ה H2154 וְ֝ה֗יּא H1931 yea it is an iniquity עָוֹ֥ן H5771 to be punished by the judges פְּלִילִֽים׃ H6414 12 כִּ֤י H3588 For it is a fire אֵ֣שׁ H784 הִ֭יא H1931 עַד H5704 to destruction אֲבַדּ֣וֹן H11 that consumeth תֹּאכֵ֑ל H398 וּֽבְכָל H3605 all mine increase תְּב֖וּאָתִ֣י H8393 and would root out תְשָׁרֵֽשׁ׃ H8327 13 אִם H518 If I did despise אֶמְאַ֗ס H3988 the cause מִשְׁפַּ֣ט H4941 of my manservant עַ֭בְדִּי H5650 or of my maidservant וַאֲמָתִ֑י H519 בְּ֝רִבָ֗ם H7378 עִמָּדִֽי׃ H5978 14 וּמָ֣ה H4100 What then shall I do אֶֽ֭עֱשֶׂה H6213 כִּֽי H3588 riseth up יָק֣וּם H6965 when God אֵ֑ל H410 וְכִֽי H3588 and when he visiteth יִ֝פְקֹ֗ד H6485 מָ֣ה H4100 what shall I answer אֲשִׁיבֶֽנּוּ׃ H7725 15 הֲֽלֹא H3808 me in the womb בַ֭בֶּטֶן H990 Did not he that made עָשָׂ֑הוּ H6213 Did not he that made עָשָׂ֑הוּ H6213 fashion וַ֝יְכֻנֶ֗נּוּ H3559 us in the womb בָּרֶ֥חֶם H7358 him and did not one אֶחָֽד׃ H259 16 אִם H518 If I have withheld אֶ֭מְנַע H4513 from their desire מֵחֵ֣פֶץ H2656 the poor דַּלִּ֑ים H1800 or have caused the eyes וְעֵינֵ֖י H5869 of the widow אַלְמָנָ֣ה H490 to fail אֲכַלֶּֽה׃ H3615 17 Or have eaten אָכַ֖ל H398 my morsel פִּתִּ֣י H6595 לְבַדִּ֑י H905 וְלֹא H3808 Or have eaten אָכַ֖ל H398 myself alone and the fatherless יָת֣וֹם H3490 מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ H4480 18 כִּ֣י H3588 For from my youth מִ֭נְּעוּרַי H5271 he was brought up גְּדֵלַ֣נִי H1431 with me as with a father כְאָ֑ב H1 womb וּמִבֶּ֖טֶן H990 her from my mother's אִמִּ֣י H517 and I have guided אַנְחֶֽנָּה׃ H5148 19 אִם H518 If I have seen אֶרְאֶ֣ה H7200 any perish א֭וֹבֵד H6 מִבְּלִ֣י H1097 for want of clothing לְב֑וּשׁ H3830 וְאֵ֥ין H369 without covering כְּ֝ס֗וּת H3682 or any poor לָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ H34 20 אִם H518 לֹ֣א H3808 have not blessed בֵרֲכ֣וּנִי H1288 If his loins חֲלָצָ֑ו H2504 with the fleece וּמִגֵּ֥ז H1488 of my sheep כְּ֝בָשַׂי H3532 me and if he were not warmed יִתְחַמָּֽם׃ H2552 21 אִם H518 If I have lifted up הֲנִיפ֣וֹתִי H5130 עַל H5921 against the fatherless יָת֣וֹם H3490 my hand יָדִ֑י H3027 כִּֽי H3588 when I saw אֶרְאֶ֥ה H7200 in the gate בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר H8179 my help עֶזְרָתִֽי׃ H5833 22 Then let mine arm כְּ֭תֵפִי H3802 from my shoulder blade מִשִּׁכְמָ֣ה H7929 fall תִפּ֑וֹל H5307 and mine arm וְ֝אֶזְרֹעִ֗י H248 from the bone מִקָּנָ֥ה H7070 be broken תִשָּׁבֵֽר׃ H7665 23 כִּ֤י H3588 was a terror פַ֣חַד H6343 אֵ֭לַי H413 For destruction אֵ֣יד H343 from God אֵ֑ל H410 to me and by reason of his highness וּ֝מִשְּׂאֵת֗וֹ H7613 לֹ֣א H3808 I could נִשְׂבָּֽע׃ H7646 32 in the street בַּ֭חוּץ H2351 לֹא H3808 did not lodge יָלִ֣ין H3885 The stranger גֵּ֑ר H1616 my doors דְּ֝לָתַ֗י H1817 to the traveller לָאֹ֥רַח H734 but I opened אֶפְתָּֽח׃ H6605 33 אִם H518 If I covered כִּסִּ֣יתִי H3680 as Adam כְאָדָ֣ם H121 my transgressions פְּשָׁעָ֑י H6588 by hiding לִטְמ֖וֹן H2934 in my bosom בְּחֻבִּ֣י H2243 mine iniquity עֲוֹנִֽי׃ H5771 34 כִּ֤י H3588 Did I fear אֶֽעֱר֨וֹץ׀ H6206 multitude הָ֘מ֤וֹן H1995 a great רַבָּ֗ה H7227 or did the contempt וּבוּז H937 of families מִשְׁפָּח֥וֹת H4940 terrify יְחִתֵּ֑נִי H2865 me that I kept silence וָ֝אֶדֹּ֗ם H1826 לֹא H3808 and went not out אֵ֥צֵא H3318 of the door פָֽתַח׃ H6607 35 מִ֤י H4310 Oh that יִתֶּן H5414 לִ֨י׀ H0 one would hear שֹׁ֘מֵ֤עַֽ H8085 לִ֗י H0 הֶן H2005 me! behold my desire תָּ֭וִי H8420
