their inheritance נַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם H5159 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 commanded צִוָּ֤ה H6680 as the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 by the hand בְּיַד H3027 of Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 for the nine לְתִשְׁעַ֥ת H8672 tribe הַמַּטֶּֽה׃ H4294 and for the half וַֽחֲצִ֥י H2677 tribe הַמַּטֶּֽה׃ H4294 3 כִּֽי H3588 had given נָתַ֥ן H5414 For Moses מֹשֶׁ֜ה H4872 none inheritance נַֽחֲלָ֖ה H5159 of two שְׁנֵ֤י H8147 tribe הַמַּטֶּ֔ה H4294 and an half וַֽחֲצִ֣י H2677 tribe הַמַּטֶּ֔ה H4294 on the other side מֵעֵ֖בֶר H5676 Jordan לַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן H3383 but unto the Levites וְלַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 לֹֽא H3808 had given נָתַ֥ן H5414 none inheritance נַֽחֲלָ֖ה H5159 among בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ H8432 4 כִּֽי H3588 הָי֧וּ H1961 For the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Joseph יוֹסֵ֛ף H3130 were two שְׁנֵ֥י H8147 tribes מַטּ֖וֹת H4294 Manasseh מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה H4519 and Ephraim וְאֶפְרָ֑יִם H669 וְלֹֽא H3808 therefore they gave נָתְנוּ֩ H5414 no part חֵ֨לֶק H2506 unto the Levites לַלְוִיִּ֜ם H3881 in the land בָּאָ֗רֶץ H776 כִּ֤י H3588 אִם H518 save cities עָרִים֙ H5892 to dwell לָשֶׁ֔בֶת H3427 in with their suburbs וּמִ֨גְרְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם H4054 for their cattle לְמִקְנֵיהֶ֖ם H4735 and for their substance וּלְקִנְיָנָֽם׃ H7075 5 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 commanded צִוָּ֤ה H6680 As the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶת H853 Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 כֵּ֥ן H3651 did עָשׂ֖וּ H6213 so the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and they divided וַֽיַּחְלְק֖וּ H2505 אֶת אֵלָ֔יו H413 and Caleb כָּלֵ֥ב H3612 Then the children בֶּן H1121 of Jephunneh יְפֻנֶּ֖ה H3312 the Kenezite הַקְּנִזִּ֑י H7074 אַתָּ֣ה H859 unto him Thou knowest יָדַ֡עְתָּ H3045 אֶֽת H853 the thing מֹשֶׁ֨ה H4872 the servant עֶֽבֶד H5650 of the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 אֹתִ֛י H853 מִקָּדֵ֥שׁ H0 me from Kadeshbarnea בַּרְנֵ֖עַ H6947 to espy out לְרַגֵּ֣ל H7270 אֶת H853 the land הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 again וָֽאָשֵׁ֤ב H7725 אֹתוֹ֙ H853 him word דָּבָ֔ר H1697 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 עִם H5973 as it was in mine heart לְבָבִֽי׃ H3824 8 Nevertheless my brethren וְאַחַי֙ H251 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that went up עָל֣וּ H5927 have trodden דָּֽרְכָ֤ה H1869 whereon thy feet רַגְלְךָ֙ H7272 בָּ֔הּ H0 לְךָ֙ H0 תִֽהְיֶ֧ה H1961 shall be thine inheritance לְנַֽחֲלָ֛ה H5159 and thy children's וּלְבָנֶ֖יךָ H1121 for עַד H5704 ever עוֹלָ֑ם H5769 כִּ֣י H3588 because thou hast wholly מִלֵּ֔אתָ H4390 followed אַֽחֲרֵ֖י H310 the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 my God אֱלֹהָֽי׃ H430 10 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 הִנֵּה֩ H2009 hath kept me alive הֶֽחֱיָ֨ה H2421 And now behold the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אוֹתִי֮ H853 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 as he said דִּבֶּ֨ר H1696 זֶה֩ H2088 these forty אַרְבָּעִ֨ים H705 and five חָמֵ֥שׁ H2568 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 even since מֵ֠אָז H227 as he said דִּבֶּ֨ר H1696 And now behold the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אֶת H853 this word הַדָּבָ֤ר H1697 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 אֲשֶׁר H834 wandered הָלַ֥ךְ H1980 while the children of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר H4057 וְעַתָּה֙ H6258 הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 אָֽנֹכִ֣י H595 and now lo I am this day הַיּ֔וֹם H3117 old בֶּן H1121 and five חָמֵ֥שׁ H2568 fourscore וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים H8084 years שָׁנָֽה׃ H8141 11 עוֹדֶ֨נִּי H5750 as I was in the day בְּי֨וֹם H3117 As yet I am as strong חָזָ֗ק H2389 כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 as I was in the day בְּי֨וֹם H3117 וְלָצֵ֥את H3318 and to come in וְלָבֽוֹא׃ H935 12 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 Now therefore give תְּנָה H5414 לִּי֙ H0 אֶת H853 me this mountain הָהָ֣ר H2022 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 אֲשֶׁר H834 said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 as the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 in that day בַיּ֨וֹם H3117 הַה֑וּא H1931 כִּ֣י H3588 אַתָּֽה H859 for thou heardest שָׁמַעְתָּ֩ H8085 in that day בַיּ֨וֹם H3117 הַה֜וּא H1931 כִּֽי H3588 how the Anakims עֲנָקִ֣ים H6062 שָׁ֗ם H8033 were there and that the cities וְעָרִים֙ H5892 were great גְּדֹל֣וֹת H1419 and fenced בְּצֻר֔וֹת H1219 if so be אוּלַ֨י H194 as the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 will be with אוֹתִי֙ H854 me then I shall be able to drive them out וְה֣וֹרַשְׁתִּ֔ים H3423 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 as the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 13 blessed וַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּ H1288 And Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַ H3091 him and gave וַיִּתֵּ֧ן H5414 אֶת H853 Hebron חֶבְר֛וֹן H2275 unto Caleb לְכָלֵ֥ב H3612 the son בֶּן H1121 of Jephunneh יְפֻנֶּ֖ה H3312 for an inheritance לְנַֽחֲלָֽה׃ H5159 14 עַל H5921 כֵּ֣ן H3651 הָיְתָֽה H1961 Hebron חֶ֠בְרוֹן H2275 of Caleb לְכָלֵ֨ב H3612 the son בֶּן H1121 of Jephunneh יְפֻנֶּ֤ה H3312 the Kenezite הַקְּנִזִּי֙ H7074 therefore became the inheritance לְֽנַחֲלָ֔ה H5159 עַ֖ד H5704 unto And the name וְשֵׁ֨ם H8034 of Hebron חֶבְר֤וֹן H2275 before לְפָנִים֙ H6440 קִרְיַ֣ת H0 was Kirjatharba אַרְבַּ֔ע H7153 man הָֽאָדָ֧ם H120 which Arba was a great הַגָּד֛וֹל H1419 among the Anakims
