I wot יָדַ֔עְתִּי H3045 אָ֥נָה H575 went הָֽלְכ֖וּ H1980 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֑ים H376 not pursue רִדְפ֥וּ H7291 them quickly מַהֵ֛ר H4118 after אַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֖ם H310 כִּ֥י H3588 for ye shall overtake תַשִּׂיגֽוּם׃ H5381 6 וְהִ֖יא H1931 But she had brought them up הֶֽעֱלָ֣תַם H5927 to the roof הַגָּֽג׃ H1406 of the house and hid וַֽתִּטְמְנֵם֙ H2934 of flax בְּפִשְׁתֵּ֣י H6593 them with the stalks הָעֵ֔ץ H6086 which she had laid in order הָֽעֲרֻכ֥וֹת H6186 לָ֖הּ H0 עַל H5921 to the roof הַגָּֽג׃ H1406 7 וְהָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 and as soon as they which pursued הָרֹֽדְפִ֖ים H7291 after אַֽחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 them the way דֶּ֣רֶךְ H1870 to Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן H3383 עַ֖ל H5921 unto the fords הַֽמַּעְבְּר֑וֹת H4569 the gate וְהַשַּׁ֣עַר H8179 they shut סָגָ֔רוּ H5462 after אַֽחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 them were gone out יָֽצְא֥וּ H3318 and as soon as they which pursued הָרֹֽדְפִ֖ים H7291 after אַֽחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 8 וְהֵ֖מָּה H1992 טֶ֣רֶם H2962 And before they were laid down יִשְׁכָּב֑וּן H7901 וְהִ֛יא H1931 she came up עָֽלְתָ֥ה H5927 עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 עַל H5921 unto them upon the roof הַגָּֽג׃ H1406 9 And she said וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 הָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים H376 I know יָדַ֕עְתִּי H3045 כִּֽי H3588 hath given נָתַ֧ן H5414 that the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 לָכֶ֖ם H0 אֶת H853 of the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 וְכִֽי H3588 is fallen נָפְלָ֤ה H5307 and that your terror אֵֽימַתְכֶם֙ H367 עָלֵ֔ינוּ H5921 וְכִ֥י H3588 faint נָמֹ֛גוּ H4127 כָּל H3605 upon us and that all the inhabitants יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י H3427 of the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 because מִפְּנֵיכֶֽם׃ H6440 10 כִּ֣י H3588 For we have heard שָׁמַ֗עְנוּ H8085 אֵ֠ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 dried up הוֹבִ֨ישׁ H3001 how the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אֶת H853 the water מֵ֤י H4325 sea יַם H3220 of the Red סוּף֙ H5488 for you מִפְּנֵיכֶ֔ם H6440 when ye came out בְּצֵֽאתְכֶ֖ם H3318 of Egypt מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם H4714 וַֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and what ye did עֲשִׂיתֶ֡ם H6213 unto the two לִשְׁנֵי֩ H8147 kings מַלְכֵ֨י H4428 of the Amorites הָֽאֱמֹרִ֜י H567 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 that were on the other side בְּעֵ֤בֶר H5676 Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ H3383 Sihon לְסִיחֹ֣ן H5511 and Og וּלְע֔וֹג H5747 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whom ye utterly destroyed הֶֽחֱרַמְתֶּ֖ם H2763 אוֹתָֽם׃ H853 11 And as soon as we had heard וַנִּשְׁמַע֙ H8085 did melt וַיִּמַּ֣ס H4549 these things our hearts לְבָבֵ֔נוּ H3824 וְלֹא H3808 neither did there remain קָ֨מָה H6965 ע֥וֹד H5750 any more courage ר֛וּחַ H7307 in any man בְּאִ֖ישׁ H376 because מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם H6440 כִּ֚י H3588 of you for the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 he is God אֱלֹהִים֙ H430 ה֤וּא H1931 he is God אֱלֹהִים֙ H430 in heaven בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם H8064 above מִמַּ֔עַל H4605 וְעַל shewed וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶ֨ם H6213 עִמָּכֶ֖ם H5973 kindness חֶ֔סֶד H2617 I have shewed וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶ֨ם H6213 גַּם H1571 אַתֶּ֜ם H859 עִם H5973 house בֵּ֤ית H1004 unto my father's אָבִי֙ H1 kindness חֶ֔סֶד H2617 and give וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם H5414 לִ֖י H0 token א֥וֹת H226 me a true אֱמֶֽת׃ H571 13 And that ye will save alive וְהַֽחֲיִתֶ֞ם H2421 אֶת H853 my father אָבִ֣י H1 וְאֶת H853 and my mother אִמִּ֗י H517 וְאֶת H853 and my brethren אַחַי֙ H251 וְאֶת H853 and my sisters אַחְוֹתַי H269 וְאֵ֖ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 לָהֶ֑ם H0 and all that they have and deliver וְהִצַּלְתֶּ֥ם H5337 אֶת H853 our lives נַפְשֹׁתֵ֖ינוּ H5315 from death מִמָּֽוֶת׃ H4194 14 answered וַיֹּ֧אמְרוּ H559 לָ֣הּ H0 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 her Our life נַפְשֵׁ֤נוּ H5315 תַחְתֵּיכֶם֙ H8478 for yours לָמ֔וּת H4191 אִ֚ם H518 לֹ֣א H3808 if ye utter תַגִּ֔ידוּ H5046 אֶת H853 not this our business דְּבָרֵ֖נוּ H1697 זֶ֑ה H2088 וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 hath given בְּתֵת H5414 And it shall be when the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 לָ֙נוּ֙ H0 אֶת H853 us the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 that we will deal וְעָשִׂ֥ינוּ H6213 עִמָּ֖ךְ H5973 kindly חֶ֥סֶד H2617 and truly וֶֽאֱמֶֽת׃ H571 15 Then she let them down וַתּֽוֹרִדֵ֥ם H3381 by a cord בַּחֶ֖בֶל H2256 through בְּעַ֣ד H1157 the window הַֽחַלּ֑וֹן H2474 כִּ֤י H3588 for her house בֵיתָהּ֙ H1004 was upon the town בְּקִ֣יר H7023 upon the wall וּבַֽחוֹמָ֖ה H2346 upon the wall וּבַֽחוֹמָ֖ה H2346 הִ֥יא H1931 and she dwelt יוֹשָֽׁבֶת׃ H3427 16 And she said וַתֹּ֤אמֶר H559 לָהֶם֙ H0 you to the mountain הָהָ֣רָה H2022 לֵּ֔כוּ H1980 פֶּֽן H6435 meet יִפְגְּע֥וּ H6293 בָכֶ֖ם H0 lest the pursuers הָרֹֽדְפִ֔ים H7291 you and hide וְנַחְבֵּתֶ֨ם H2247 שָׁ֜מָּה H8033 yourselves there three שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת H7969 days יָמִ֗ים H3117 עַ֚ד H5704 be returned שׁ֣וֹב H7725 lest the pursuers הָרֹֽדְפִ֔ים H7291 and afterward וְאַחַ֖ר H310 תֵּֽלְכ֥וּ H1980 your way לְדַרְכְּכֶֽם׃ H1870 17 said וַיֹּֽאמְר֥וּ H559 אֵלֶ֖יהָ H413 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֑ים H376 unto her We will be blameless נְקִיִּ֣ם H5355 אֲנַ֔חְנוּ H587 of this thine oath מִשְּׁבֻֽעָתֵ֥ךְ H7621 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast made us swear הִשְׁבַּעְתָּֽנוּ׃ H7650 18 הִנֵּ֛ה H2009 אֲנַ֥חְנוּ H587 Behold when we come בָאִ֖ים H935 into the land בָּאָ֑רֶץ H776 אֶת H853 this line תִּקְוַ֡ת H8615 thread חוּט֩ H2339 of scarlet הַשָּׁנִ֨י H8144 הַזֶּ֜ה H2088 thou shalt bind תִּקְשְׁרִ֗י H7194 in the window בַּֽחַלּוֹן֙ H2474 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which thou didst let us down by הֽוֹרַדְתֵּ֣נוּ H3381 ב֔וֹ H0 וְאֶת H853 and all thy father's אָבִ֔יךְ H1 וְאֶת H853 and thy mother אִמֵּ֜ךְ H517 וְאֶת H853 and thy brethren אַחַ֗יִךְ H251 וְאֵת֙ H853 כָּל H3605 home הַבָּֽיְתָה׃ H1004 and all thy father's אָבִ֔יךְ H1 and thou shalt bring תַּֽאַסְפִ֥י H622 אֵלַ֖יִךְ H413 home הַבָּֽיְתָה׃ H1004 19 וְהָיָ֡ה H1961 כֹּ֣ל H3605 And it shall be that whosoever אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 shall go out יֵצֵא֩ H3318 of the doors מִדַּלְתֵ֨י H1817 and whosoever shall be with thee in the house בַּבַּ֔יִת H1004 into the street הַח֛וּצָה H2351 his blood דָּמ֣וֹ H1818 shall be on our head בְרֹאשֵׁ֔נוּ H7218 וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ H587 and we will be guiltless נְקִיִּ֑ם H5355 וְ֠כֹל H3605 And it shall be that whosoever אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 יִֽהְיֶ֤ה H1961 אִתָּךְ֙ H854 and whosoever shall be with thee in the house בַּבַּ֔יִת H1004 his blood דָּמ֣וֹ H1818 shall be on our head בְרֹאשֵׁ֔נוּ H7218 אִם H518 if any hand יָ֖ד H3027 תִּֽהְיֶה H1961 בּֽוֹ׃ H0 20 וְאִם H518 And if thou utter תַּגִּ֖ידִי H5046 אֶת H853 this our business דְּבָרֵ֣נוּ H1697 זֶ֑ה H2088 וְהָיִ֣ינוּ H1961 then we will be quit נְקִיִּ֔ם H5355 of thine oath מִשְּׁבֻֽעָתֵ֖ךְ H7621 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast made us to swear הִשְׁבַּעְתָּֽנוּ׃ H7650 21 And she said וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 According unto your words כְּדִבְרֵיכֶ֣ם H1697 כֶּן H3651 ה֔וּא H1931 so be it And she sent them away וַֽתְּשַׁלְּחֵ֖ם H7971 וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ H1980 and she bound וַתִּקְשֹׁ֛ר H7194 אֶת H853 line תִּקְוַ֥ת H8615 the scarlet הַשָּׁנִ֖י H8144 in the window בַּֽחַלּֽוֹן׃ H2474 22 וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ H1980 and came וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ H935 unto the mountain הָהָ֔רָה H2022 and abode וַיֵּ֤שְׁבוּ H3427 שָׁם֙ H8033 there three שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת H7969 days יָמִ֔ים H3117 עַד H5704 were returned שָׁ֖בוּ H7725 and the pursuers הָרֹֽדְפִ֛ים H7291 sought וַיְבַקְשׁ֧וּ H1245 and the pursuers הָרֹֽדְפִ֛ים H7291 בְּכָל H3605 them throughout all the way הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ H1870 וְלֹ֥א H3808 but found מָצָֽאוּ׃ H4672 23 returned וַיָּשֻׁ֜בוּ H7725 So the two שְׁנֵ֤י H8147 הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ H376 and descended וַיֵּֽרְד֣וּ H3381 from the mountain מֵֽהָהָ֔ר H2022 and passed over וַיַּֽעַבְרוּ֙ H5674 and came וַיָּבֹ֔אוּ H935 אֶל H413 to Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ H3091 the son בִּן H1121 of Nun נ֑וּן H5126 and told וַיְסַ֨פְּרוּ H5608 ל֔וֹ H0 אֵ֥ת H853 כָּל H3605 him all things that befell הַמֹּֽצְא֖וֹת H4672 אוֹתָֽם׃ H854 24 And they said וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 Truly כִּֽי H3588 hath delivered נָתַ֧ן H5414 the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 into our hands בְּיָדֵ֖נוּ H3027 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 וְגַם H1571 do faint נָמֹ֛גוּ H4127 כָּל
