H5674 Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן H3383 were cut off נִכְרְת֖וּ H3772 the waters מֵ֣י H4325 Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן H3383 וְ֠הָיוּ H1961 and these stones הָֽאֲבָנִ֨ים H68 הָאֵ֧לֶּה H428 shall be for a memorial יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 commanded צִוָּ֣ה H6680 so as Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 and took up וַיִּשְׂא֡וּ H5375 twelve שְׁתֵּֽי H8147 עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה H6240 stones אֲבָנִ֜ים H68 out of the midst מִתּ֣וֹךְ H8432 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן H3383 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 spake דִּבֶּ֤ר H1696 as the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶל H413 so as Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 according to the number לְמִסְפַּ֖ר H4557 of the tribes שִׁבְטֵ֣י H7626 And the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and carried them over וַיַּֽעֲבִר֤וּם H5674 עִמָּם֙ H5973 אֶל H413 with them unto the place where they lodged הַמָּל֔וֹן H4411 and laid them down וַיַּנִּח֖וּם H3240 שָֽׁם׃ H8033 9 twelve וּשְׁתֵּ֧ים H8147 עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה H6240 stones אֲבָנִ֗ים H68 set up הֵקִ֣ים H6965 And Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁעַ֮ H3091 in the midst בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּן֒ H3383 תַּ֗חַת H8478 stood מַצַּב֙ H4673 in the place where the feet רַגְלֵ֣י H7272 of the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים H3548 which bare נֹֽשְׂאֵ֖י H5375 the ark אֲר֣וֹן H727 of the covenant הַבְּרִ֑ית H1285 וַיִּ֣הְיוּ H1961 שָׁ֔ם H8033 עַ֖ד H5704 and they are there unto this day הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 10 For the priests וְהַכֹּֽהֲנִ֞ים H3548 which bare נֹֽשְׂאֵ֣י H5375 the ark הָֽאָר֗וֹן H727 stood עֹֽמְדִים֮ H5975 in the midst בְּת֣וֹךְ H8432 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּן֒ H3383 עַ֣ד H5704 was finished תֹּ֣ם H8552 כָּֽל H3605 until every thing הַ֠דָּבָר H1697 אֲשֶׁר H834 commanded צִוָּ֥ה H6680 that the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 אֶת H853 Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַ H3091 to speak לְדַבֵּ֣ר H1696 אֶל H413 and the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 כְּכֹ֛ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 commanded צִוָּ֥ה H6680 according to all that Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 אֶת H853 Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֑עַ H3091 hasted וַיְמַֽהֲר֥וּ H4116 and the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 and passed over וַֽיַּעֲבֹֽרוּ׃ H5674 11 וַיְהִ֛י H1961 כַּֽאֲשֶׁר H834 were clean תַּ֥ם H8552 כָּל H3605 And it came to pass when all the people הָעָֽם׃ H5971 passed over וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֧ר H5674 passed over וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֧ר H5674 that the ark אֲרוֹן H727 of the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 and the priests וְהַכֹּֽהֲנִ֖ים H3548 in the presence לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 And it came to pass when all the people הָעָֽם׃ H5971 12 passed over וַ֠יַּֽעַבְרוּ H5674 And the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Reuben רְאוּבֵ֨ן H7205 And the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Gad גָ֜ד H1410 and half וַֽחֲצִ֨י H2677 the tribe שֵׁ֤בֶט H7626 of Manasseh הַֽמְנַשֶּׁה֙ H4519 armed חֲמֻשִׁ֔ים H2571 before לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 And the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 spake דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H413 as Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 13 About forty כְּאַרְבָּעִ֥ים H705 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 prepared חֲלוּצֵ֣י H2502 for war הַצָּבָ֑א H6635 passed over עָֽבְר֞וּ H5674 before לִפְנֵ֤י H6440 the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 unto battle לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 אֶ֖ל H413 to the plains עַֽרְב֥וֹת H6160 of Jericho יְרִיחֽוֹ׃ H3405 14 On that day יְמֵ֥י H3117 הַה֗וּא H1931 magnified גִּדַּ֤ל H1431 the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶת H853 Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 in the sight בְּעֵינֵ֖י H5869 כָּל H3605 of all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and they feared יָֽרְא֥וּ H3372 אֹת֔וֹ H853 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 and they feared יָֽרְא֥וּ H3372 אֶת H853 Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 כָּל H3605 On that day יְמֵ֥י H3117 of his life חַיָּֽיו׃ H2416 15 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶל H413 unto Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ H3091 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 16 Command צַוֵּה֙ H6680 אֶת H853 the priests הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים H3548 that bear נֹֽשְׂאֵ֖י H5375 the ark אֲר֣וֹן H727 of the testimony הָֽעֵד֑וּת H5715 that they come up וְיַֽעֲל֖וּ H5927 מִן H4480 out of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ H3383 17 therefore commanded וַיְצַ֣ו H6680 Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ H3091 אֶת H853 the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֖ים H3548 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 Come ye up עֲל֖וּ H5927 מִן H4480 out of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ H3383 18 וַ֠יְהִי H1961 were come up כַּֽעֲל֨וֹת H5927 And it came to pass when the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים H3548 that bare נֹֽשְׂאֵ֨י H5375 the ark אֲר֤וֹן H727 of the covenant בְּרִית H1285 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 out of the midst מִתּ֣וֹךְ H8432 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ H3383 were lifted up נִתְּק֗וּ H5423 and the soles כַּפּוֹת֙ H3709 feet רַגְלֵ֣י H7272 And it came to pass when the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים H3548 אֶ֖ל H413 unto the dry land הֶחָֽרָבָ֑ה H2724 returned וַיָּשֻׁ֤בוּ H7725 that the waters מֵֽי H4325 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ H3383 unto their place לִמְקוֹמָ֔ם H4725 וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ H1980 as כִתְמוֹל H8543 they did before שִׁלְשׁ֖וֹם H8032 עַל H5921 כָּל H3605 over all his banks גְּדוֹתָֽיו׃ H1415 19 And the people וְהָעָ֗ם H5971 came up עָלוּ֙ H5927 מִן H4480 out of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן H3383 on the tenth בֶּֽעָשׂ֖וֹר H6218 month לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ H2320 day of the first הָֽרִאשׁ֑וֹן H7223 and encamped וַֽיַּחֲנוּ֙ H2583 in Gilgal בַּגִּלְגָּ֔ל H1537 border בִּקְצֵ֖ה H7097 in the east מִזְרַ֥ח H4217 of Jericho יְרִיחֽוֹ׃ H3405 20 וְאֵת֩ H853 And those twelve שְׁתֵּ֨ים H8147 עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה H6240 stones הָֽאֲבָנִים֙ H68 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which they took out לָֽקְח֖וּ H3947 מִן H4480 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן H3383 pitch הֵקִ֥ים H6965 did Joshua יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ H3091 in Gilgal בַּגִּלְגָּֽל׃ H1537 21 And he spake לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 אֶל H413 When your children בְּנֵיכֶ֤ם H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 And he spake לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 shall ask יִשְׁאָל֨וּן H7592 When your children בְּנֵיכֶ֤ם H1121 in time to come מָחָר֙ H4279 אֶת H853 their fathers אֲבוֹתָ֣ם H1 And he spake לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 מָ֖ה H4100 What mean these stones הָֽאֲבָנִ֥ים H68 הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 22 know וְהֽוֹדַעְתֶּ֖ם H3045 אֶת H853 Then ye shall let your children בְּנֵיכֶ֣ם H1121 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 on dry land בַּיַּבָּשָׁה֙ H3004 came over עָבַ֣ר H5674 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 אֶת H853 this Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן H3383 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 23 אֲשֶׁר H834 dried up הוֹבִ֥ישׁ H3001 For the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 your God אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֧ם H430 אֶת H853 the waters מֵ֧י H4325 of Jordan הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן H3383 from before מִפָּנֵ֖ינוּ H6440 עַֽד H5704 us until we were gone over עָבְרֵֽנוּ׃ H5674 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 did עָשָׂה֩ H6213 For the LORD
