ἀπώλεσα G622 10 Likewise οὕτως G3779 I say λέγω G3004 unto you ὑμῖν G5213 joy χαρὰ G5479 there is γίνεται G1096 in the presence ἐνώπιον G1799 τῶν G3588 of the angels ἀγγέλων G32 τοῦ G3588 of God θεοῦ G2316 over ἐπὶ G1909 one ἑνὶ G1520 sinner ἁμαρτωλῷ G268 that repenteth μετανοοῦντι G3340 11 he said Εἶπεν G2036 And δέ G1161 man Ἄνθρωπός G444 A certain τις G5100 had εἶχεν G2192 two δύο G1417 sons υἱούς G5207 12 And καὶ G2532 said εἶπεν G2036 ὁ G3588 the younger νεώτερος G3501 of them αὐτοῖς G846 τῷ G3588 Father Πάτερ G3962 Father Πάτερ G3962 give δός G1325 me μοι G3427 τὸ G3588 that falleth ἐπιβάλλον G1911 the portion μέρος G3313 τῆς G3588 of goods οὐσίας G3776 And καὶ G2532 he divided διεῖλεν G1244 of them αὐτοῖς G846 τὸν G3588 his living βίον G979 13 And καὶ G2532 after μετ' G3326 not οὐ G3756 many πολλὰς G4183 days ἡμέρας G2250 gathered συναγαγὼν G4863 all ἅπαντα G537 ὁ G3588 the younger νεώτερος G3501 son υἱὸς G5207 and took his journey ἀπεδήμησεν G589 into εἰς G1519 country χώραν G5561 a far μακράν G3117 And καὶ G2532 there ἐκεῖ G1563 wasted διεσκόρπισεν G1287 τὴν G3588 substance οὐσίαν G3776 αὐτοῦ G846 living ζῶν G2198 with riotous ἀσώτως G811 14 had spent δαπανήσαντος G1159 And δὲ G1161 when he αὐτὸς G846 all πάντα G3956 there arose ἐγένετο G1096 famine λιμὸς G3042 a mighty ἰσχυρὸς G2478 in κατὰ G2596 τὴν G3588 land χώραν G5561 that ἐκείνην G1565 and καὶ G2532 when he αὐτὸς G846 he began ἤρξατο G756 to be in want ὑστερεῖσθαι G5302 15 And καὶ G2532 he went πορευθεὶς G4198 and joined himself ἐκολλήθη G2853 to ἑνὶ G1520 τῶν G3588 a citizen πολιτῶν G4177 τῆς G3588 country χώρας G5561 of that ἐκείνης G1565 And καὶ G2532 he sent ἔπεμψεν G3992 him αὐτοῦ G846 into εἰς G1519 τοὺς G3588 fields ἀγροὺς G68 him αὐτοῦ G846 to feed βόσκειν G1006 swine χοίρους G5519 16 And καὶ G2532 he would fain ἐπεθύμει G1937 have filled γεμίσαι G1072 τὴν G3588 belly κοιλίαν G2836 unto him αὐτῷ G846 with ἀπὸ G575 τῶν G3588 the husks κερατίων G2769 that ὧν G3739 did eat ἤσθιον G2068 οἱ G3588 the swine χοῖροι G5519 And καὶ G2532 no man οὐδεὶς G3762 gave ἐδίδου G1325 unto him αὐτῷ G846 17 to εἰς G1519 himself ἑαυτὸν G1438 And δὲ G1161 when he came ἐλθὼν G2064 he said εἶπεν G2036 How many Πόσοι G4214 hired servants μίσθιοι G3407 τοῦ G3588 father's πατρός G3962 of my μου G3450 enough and to spare περισσεύουσιν G4052 have bread ἄρτων G740 I ἐγὼ G1473 And δὲ G1161 with hunger λιμῷ G3042 perish ἀπόλλυμαι G622 18 I will arise ἀναστὰς G450 and go πορεύσομαι G4198 to πρὸς G4314 τὸν G3588 Father Πάτερ G3962 my μου G3450 and καὶ G2532 will say ἐρῶ G2046 unto him αὐτῷ G846 Father Πάτερ G3962 I have sinned ἥμαρτον G264 against εἰς G1519 τὸν G3588 heaven οὐρανὸν G3772 and καὶ G2532 before ἐνώπιόν G1799 thee σου G4675 19 And καὶ G2532 no more οὐκέτι G3765 am εἰμὶ G1510 worthy ἄξιος G514 to be called κληθῆναι G2564 son υἱός G5207 of thy σου G4675 make ποίησόν G4160 me με G3165 as ὡς G5613 one ἕνα G1520 τῶν G3588 hired servants μισθίων G3407 of thy σου G4675 20 And καὶ G2532 he arose ἀναστὰς G450 and came ἦλθεν G2064 to πρὸς G4314 τὸν G3588 father πατὴρ G3962 his ἑαυτοῦ G1438 was yet ἔτι G2089 But δὲ G1161 him αὐτόν G846 a great way μακρὰν G3112 off ἀπέχοντος G568 saw εἶδεν G1492 him αὐτόν G846 ὁ G3588 father πατὴρ G3962 him αὐτόν G846 And καὶ G2532 had compassion ἐσπλαγχνίσθη G4697 And καὶ G2532 ran δραμὼν G5143 and fell ἐπέπεσεν G1968 on ἐπὶ G1909 τὸν G3588 neck τράχηλον G5137 him αὐτόν G846 And καὶ G2532 kissed κατεφίλησεν G2705 him αὐτόν G846 21 said εἶπεν G2036 And δὲ G1161 unto him αὐτῷ G846 ὁ G3588 son υἱός G5207 Father Πάτερ G3962 I have sinned ἥμαρτον G264 against εἰς G1519 τὸν G3588 heaven οὐρανὸν G3772 and καὶ G2532 in ἐνώπιόν G1799 thy σου G4675 and καὶ G2532 no more οὐκέτι G3765 am εἰμὶ G1510 worthy ἄξιος G514 to be called κληθῆναι G2564 son υἱός G5207 thy σου G4675 22 said εἶπεν G2036 But δὲ G1161 ὁ G3588 the father πατὴρ G3962 to πρὸς G4314 τοὺς G3588 servants δούλους G1401 him αὐτοῦ G846 Bring forth ἐξενέγκατε G1627 τὴν G3588 robe στολὴν G4749 τὴν G3588 the best πρώτην G4413 and καὶ G2532 put it on ἐνδύσατε G1746 him αὐτοῦ G846 and καὶ G2532 put δότε G1325 a ring δακτύλιον G1146 on εἰς G1519 τὴν G3588 hand χεῖρα G5495 him αὐτοῦ G846 and καὶ G2532 shoes ὑποδήματα G5266 on εἰς G1519 τοὺς G3588 his feet πόδας G4228 23 And καὶ G2532 bring hither ἐνέγκαντες G5342 τὸν G3588 calf μόσχον G3448 τὸν G3588 the fatted σιτευτόν G4618 and kill θύσατε G2380 And καὶ G2532 let us eat φαγόντες G5315 and be merry εὐφρανθῶμεν G2165 24 For ὅτι G3754 this οὗτος G3778 ὁ G3588 son υἱός G5207 my μου G3450 dead νεκρὸς G3498 he was ἦν G2258 And καὶ G2532 is alive again ἀνέζησεν G326 And καὶ G2532 lost ἀπολωλὼς G622 he was ἦν G2258 And καὶ G2532 is found εὑρέθη G2147 And καὶ G2532 they began ἤρξαντο G756 to be merry εὐφραίνεσθαι G2165 25 was Ἦν G2258 Now δὲ G1161 ὁ G3588 son υἱὸς G5207 his αὐτοῦ G846 ὁ G3588 elder πρεσβύτερος G4245 in ἐν G1722 the field ἀγρῷ· G68 and καὶ G2532 as ὡς G5613 he came ἐρχόμενος G2064 and drew nigh ἤγγισεν G1448 τῇ G3588 to the house οἰκίᾳ G3614 he heard ἤκουσεν G191 musick συμφωνίας G4858 and καὶ G2532 dancing χορῶν G5525 26 And καὶ G2532 he called προσκαλεσάμενος G4341 one ἕνα G1520 τῶν G3588 of the servants παίδων G3816 αὐτοῦ G846 and asked ἐπυνθάνετο G4441 what τί G5101 meant εἴη G1498 these things ταῦτα G5023 27 ὁ G3588 And δὲ G1161 he said εἶπεν G2036 him αὐτὸν G846 because ὅτι G3754 Ὁ G3588 because ὅτι G3754 safe and sound ὑγιαίνοντα G5198 him αὐτὸν G846 he hath received ἀπέλαβεν G618 28 he was angry ὠργίσθη G3710 And δὲ G1161 and καὶ G2532 not οὐκ G3756 would ἤθελεν G2309 go in εἰσελθεῖν G1525 ὁ G3588 therefore οὖν G3767 father πατὴρ G3962 him αὐτόν G846 came ἐξελθὼν G1831 and intreated παρεκάλει G3870 him αὐτόν G846 29 ὁ G3588 And δὲ G1161 he answering ἀποκριθεὶς G611 said εἶπεν G2036 τῷ G3588 to his father πατρὶ G3962 Lo Ἰδού, G2400 these many τοσαῦτα G5118 years ἔτη G2094 do I serve δουλεύω G1398 thee σοι G4671 and καὶ G2532 at any time οὐδέποτε G3763 commandment
