וַיִּלֹּ֙נוּ֙ H3885 עַל H5921 against Moses מֹשֶׁ֣ה H4872 וְעַֽל H5921 and against Aaron אַהֲרֹ֔ן H175 כֹּ֖ל H3605 And all the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 said וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ disinherit וְאֽוֹרִשֶׁ֑נּוּ H3423 them and will make וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ H6213 אֹֽתְךָ֔ H853 nation לְגוֹי H1471 of thee a greater גָּד֥וֹל H1419 and mightier וְעָצ֖וּם H6099 מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ H4480 13 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 shall hear וְשָֽׁמְע֣וּ H8085 Then the Egyptians מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 כִּֽי H3588 it (for thou broughtest up הֶעֱלִ֧יתָ H5927 in thy might בְכֹֽחֲךָ֛ H3581 אֶת H853 this people הָעָ֥ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 from among מִקִּרְבּֽוֹ׃ H7130 14 And they will tell וְאָֽמְר֗וּ H559 אֶל H413 it to the inhabitants יוֹשֵׁב֮ H3427 of this land הָאָ֣רֶץ H776 הַזֹּאת֒ H2063 for they have heard שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ H8085 כִּֽי H3588 אַתָּ֣ה H859 that thou LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 art among בְּקֶ֖רֶב H7130 this people הָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 אֲשֶׁר H834 face בְּעַ֜יִן H5869 face בְּעַ֜יִן H5869 art seen נִרְאָ֣ה׀ H7200 אַתָּ֣ה H859 that thou LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 and that thy cloud עָנָ֗ן H6051 standeth עֹמֵ֣ד H5975 עֲלֵהֶ֔ם H5921 and in a pillar וּבְעַמּ֥וּד H5982 and that thy cloud עָנָ֗ן H6051 אַתָּ֨ה H859 over them and that thou goest הֹלֵ֤ךְ H1980 before לִפְנֵיהֶם֙ H6440 them by day time יוֹמָ֔ם H3119 and in a pillar וּבְעַמּ֥וּד H5982 of fire אֵ֖שׁ H784 by night לָֽיְלָה׃ H3915 15 Now if thou shalt kill וְהֵֽמַתָּ֛ה H4191 אֶת H853 all this people הָעָ֥ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 man כְּאִ֣ישׁ H376 as one אֶחָ֑ד H259 of thee will speak לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 then the nations הַגּוֹיִ֔ם H1471 אֲשֶׁר H834 which have heard שָֽׁמְע֥וּ H8085 אֶֽת H853 the fame שִׁמְעֲךָ֖ H8088 of thee will speak לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 16 was not מִבִּלְתִּ֞י H1115 able יְכֹ֣לֶת H3201 Because the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 to bring לְהָבִיא֙ H935 אֶת H853 this people הָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 אֶל H413 into the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁר H834 which he sware נִשְׁבַּ֣ע H7650 לָהֶ֑ם H0 unto them therefore he hath slain וַיִּשְׁחָטֵ֖ם H7819 them in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 17 וְעַתָּ֕ה H6258 be great יִגְדַּל H1431 נָ֖א H4994 And now I beseech thee let the power כֹּ֣חַ H3581 of my Lord אֲדֹנָ֑י H136 according כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 as thou hast spoken דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ H1696 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 18 The LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 is longsuffering אֶ֤רֶךְ H750 אַפַּ֙יִם֙ H639 and of great וְרַב H7227 mercy חֶ֔סֶד H2617 forgiving נֹשֵׂ֥א H5375 iniquity עֲוֹ֤ן H5771 and transgression וָפָ֑שַׁע H6588 and by no means יְנַקֶּ֔ה H5352 לֹ֣א H3808 and by no means יְנַקֶּ֔ה H5352 the guilty visiting פֹּקֵ֞ד H6485 iniquity עֲוֹ֤ן H5771 of the fathers אָבוֹת֙ H1 עַל H5921 upon the children בָּנִ֔ים H1121 עַל H5921 unto the third שִׁלֵּשִׁ֖ים H8029 וְעַל H5921 and fourth רִבֵּעִֽים׃ H7256 19 Pardon סְלַֽח H5545 נָ֗א H4994 I beseech thee the iniquity לַֽעֲוֹ֛ן H5771 of this people לָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 according unto the greatness כְּגֹ֣דֶל H1433 of thy mercy חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ H2617 וְכַֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 and as thou hast forgiven נָשָׂ֙אתָה֙ H5375 of this people לָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 from Egypt מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם H4714 וְעַד H5704 even until now הֵֽנָּה׃ H2008 20 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 I have pardoned סָלַ֖חְתִּי H5545 according to thy word כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃ H1697 21 But as truly וְאוּלָ֖ם H199 as I live חַי H2416 אָ֑נִי H589 shall be filled וְיִמָּלֵ֥א H4390 with the glory כְבוֹד H3519 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the earth הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 22 כִּ֣י H3588 כָל H3605 Because all those men הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H582 which have seen הָֽרֹאִ֤ים H7200 אֶת H853 my glory כְּבֹדִי֙ H3519 וְאֶת H853 and my miracles אֹ֣תֹתַ֔י H226 אֲשֶׁר H834 which I did עָשִׂ֥יתִי H6213 in Egypt בְמִצְרַ֖יִם H4714 and in the wilderness וּבַמִּדְבָּ֑ר H4057 and have tempted וַיְנַסּ֣וּ H5254 אֹתִ֗י H853 זֶ֚ה H2088 me now these ten עֶ֣שֶׂר H6235 times פְּעָמִ֔ים H6471 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and have not hearkened שָֽׁמְע֖וּ H8085 to my voice בְּקוֹלִֽי׃ H6963 23 Surely they shall not אִם H518 me see יִרְאֽוּהָ׃ H7200 אֶת H853 the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which I sware נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתִּי H7650 unto their fathers לַֽאֲבֹתָ֑ם H1 וְכָל H3605 neither shall any of them that provoked מְנַֽאֲצַ֖י H5006 לֹ֥א H3808 me see יִרְאֽוּהָ׃ H7200 24 But my servant וְעַבְדִּ֣י H5650 Caleb כָלֵ֗ב H3612 because עֵ֣קֶב H6118 הָֽיְתָ֞ה H1961 spirit ר֤וּחַ H7307 he had another אַחֶ֙רֶת֙ H312 עִמּ֔וֹ H5973 me fully וַיְמַלֵּ֖א H4390 with him and hath followed אַֽחֲרָ֑י H310 him will I bring בָּ֣א H935 אֶל H413 into the land הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ H776 אֲשֶׁר H834 him will I bring בָּ֣א H935 שָׁ֔מָּה H8033 and his seed וְזַרְע֖וֹ H2233 shall possess יֽוֹרִשֶֽׁנָּה׃ H3423 25 Now the Amalekites וְהָֽעֲמָלֵקִ֥י H6003 and the Canaanites וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י H3669 dwelt יוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 in the valley בָּעֵ֑מֶק H6010 To morrow מָחָ֗ר H4279 turn פְּנ֨וּ H6437 you and get וּסְע֥וּ H5265 לָכֶ֛ם H0 you into the wilderness הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר H4057 by the way דֶּ֥רֶךְ H1870 sea יַם H3220 of the Red סֽוּף׃ H5488 26 spake וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר H1696 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֥ה H4872 וְאֶֽל H413 and unto Aaron אַהֲרֹ֖ן H175 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 27 עַד H5704 מָתַ֗י H4970 congregation לָֽעֵדָ֤ה H5712 How long shall I bear with this evil הָֽרָעָה֙ H7451 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 הֵ֥מָּה H1992 which murmur מַלִּינִ֛ים H3885 עָלָ֑י H5921 אֶת H853 the murmurings תְּלֻנּ֞וֹת H8519 of the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 הֵ֧מָּה H1992 which murmur מַלִּינִ֛ים H3885 עָלַ֖י H5921 against me I have heard שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ H8085 28 Say אֱמֹ֣ר H559 אֲלֵהֶ֗ם H413 I live חַי H2416 אָ֙נִי֙ H589 saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אִם H518 unto them As truly as לֹ֕א H3808 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 as ye have spoken דִּבַּרְתֶּ֖ם H1696 in mine ears בְּאָזְנָ֑י H241 כֵּ֖ן H3651 so will I do אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה H6213 לָכֶֽם׃ H0 29 in this wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֣ר H4057 הַ֠זֶּה H2088 shall fall יִפְּל֨וּ H5307 Your carcases פִגְרֵיכֶ֜ם H6297 וְכָל H3605 and all that were numbered פְּקֻֽדֵיכֶם֙ H6485 לְכָל H3605 of you according to your whole number מִסְפַּרְכֶ֔ם H4557 old מִבֶּ֛ן H1121 from twenty עֶשְׂרִ֥ים H6242 years שָׁנָ֖ה H8141 and upward וָמָ֑עְלָה H4605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which have murmured הֲלִֽינֹתֶ֖ם H3885 עָלָֽי׃ H5921 30 Doubtless ye shall not אִם H518 אַתֶּם֙ H859 come תָּבֹ֣אוּ H935 אֶל H413 into the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 נָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ H5375 אֶת H853 concerning which I sware יָדִ֔י H3027 to make you dwell לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן H7931 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 בָּ֑הּ H0 כִּ֚י H3588 Doubtless ye shall not אִם H518 therein save Caleb כָּלֵ֣ב H3612 the son בִּן H1121 of Jephunneh יְפֻנֶּ֔ה H3312 and Joshua וִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ H3091 the son בִּן H1121 of Nun נֽוּן׃ H5126 31 But your little ones וְטַ֨פְּכֶ֔ם H2945 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which ye said אֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם H559 should be a prey לָבַ֣ז H957 יִֽהְיֶ֑ה H1961 them will I bring in וְהֵֽבֵיאתִ֣י H935 אֹתָ֔ם H853 and they shall know וְיָֽדְעוּ֙ H3045 אֶת H853 the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which ye have despised מְאַסְתֶּ֖ם H3988 בָּֽהּ׃ H0 32 But as for you your carcases וּפִגְרֵיכֶ֖ם H6297 אַתֶּ֑ם H859 they shall fall יִפְּל֖וּ H5307 in this wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֥ר H4057 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 33 And your children וּ֠בְנֵיכֶם H1121 יִֽהְי֨וּ H1961 shall wander רֹעִ֤ים H7462 in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 forty אַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 years שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 and bear וְנָֽשְׂא֖וּ H5375 אֶת H853 your whoredoms זְנֽוּתֵיכֶ֑ם H2184 עַד H5704 be wasted תֹּ֥ם H8552 until your carcases פִּגְרֵיכֶ֖ם H6297 in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 34 After the number בְּמִסְפַּ֨ר H4557 days י֣וֹם H3117 אֲשֶׁר H834 in which ye searched תַּרְתֶּ֣ם H8446 אֶת H853 the land הָאָרֶץ֮ H776 even forty אַרְבָּעִ֖ים H705 days י֣וֹם H3117 days י֣וֹם H3117 for a year שָׁנָ֑ה H8141 days י֣וֹם H3117 for a year שָׁנָ֑ה H8141 shall ye bear תִּשְׂאוּ֙ H5375 אֶת H853 your iniquities עֲוֹנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם H5771 even forty אַרְבָּעִ֖ים H705 for a year שָׁנָ֑ה H8141 and ye shall know וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם H3045 אֶת H853 my breach of promise תְּנֽוּאָתִֽי׃ H8569 35 אֲנִ֣י H589 I the LORD יְהוָה֮ H3068 have said דִּבַּרְתִּי֒ H1696 I will surely אִם H518 לֹ֣א׀ H3808 it הַזֹּ֔את H2063 do אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֗ה H6213 לְכָל H3605 congregation הָֽעֵדָ֤ה H5712 unto all this evil הָֽרָעָה֙ H7451 it הַזֹּ֔את H2063 that are gathered together הַנּֽוֹעָדִ֖ים H3259 עָלָ֑י H5921 against me in this wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֥ר H4057 הַזֶּ֛ה H2088 they shall be consumed יִתַּ֖מּוּ H8552 וְשָׁ֥ם H8033 and there they shall die יָמֻֽתוּ׃ H4191 36 וְהָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 sent שָׁלַ֥ח H7971 which Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 to search לָת֣וּר H8446 אֶת H853 the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 who returned וַיָּשֻׁ֗בוּ H7725 to murmur וַיַּלִּ֤וֹנוּ H3885 עָלָיו֙ H5921 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 and made all the congregation הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה H5712 against him by bringing up לְהוֹצִ֥יא H3318 a slander דִבָּ֖ה H1681 עַל H5921 the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 37 died וַיָּמֻ֙תוּ֙ H4191 Even those הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים H582 that did bring up מֽוֹצִאֵ֥י H3318 report דִבַּת H1681 upon the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 the evil רָעָ֑ה H7451 by the plague בַּמַּגֵּפָ֖ה H4046 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 38 But Joshua וִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ H3091 the son בֶּן H1121 of Nun נ֔וּן H5126 and Caleb וְכָלֵ֖ב H3612 the son בֶּן H1121 of Jephunneh יְפֻנֶּ֑ה H3312 lived חָיוּ֙ H2421 מִן H4480 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֣ים H376 which were of the men הָהֵ֔ם H1992 that went הַֽהֹלְכִ֖ים H1980 to search לָת֥וּר H8446 אֶת H853 the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 39 told וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר H1696 And Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 אֶת H853 these sayings הַדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 אֶֽל H413 כָּל H3605 unto all the children בְּנֵ֖י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 mourned וַיִּֽתְאַבְּל֥וּ H56 and the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 greatly מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 40 And they rose up early
