H8269 of Balak בָלָ֔ק H1111 to go לַֽהֲלֹ֥ךְ H1980 אֶֽל H413 you into your land אַרְצְכֶ֑ם H776 כִּ֚י H3588 refuseth מֵאֵ֣ן H3985 for the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to give me leave לְתִתִּ֖י H5414 to go לַֽהֲלֹ֥ךְ H1980 עִמָּכֶֽם׃ H5973 14 rose up וַיָּק֙וּמוּ֙ H6965 And the princes שָׂרֵ֣י H8269 of Moab מוֹאָ֔ב H4124 and they went וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ H935 אֶל H413 unto Balak בָּלָ֑ק H1111 and said וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ H559 refuseth מֵאֵ֥ן H3985 Balaam בִּלְעָ֖ם H1109 to come הֲלֹ֥ךְ H1980 עִמָּֽנוּ׃ H5973 15 yet again וַיֹּ֥סֶף H3254 ע֖וֹד H5750 And Balak בָּלָ֑ק H1111 sent שְׁלֹ֣חַ H7971 princes שָׂרִ֔ים H8269 more רַבִּ֥ים H7227 and more honourable וְנִכְבָּדִ֖ים H3513 מֵאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 16 And they came וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ H935 אֶל H413 to Balaam בִּלְעָ֑ם H1109 and said אָמַר֙ H559 ל֗וֹ H0 כֹּ֤ה H3541 and said אָמַר֙ H559 Balak בָּלָ֣ק H1111 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zippor צִפּ֔וֹר H6834 אַל H408 נָ֥א H4994 Let nothing I pray thee hinder תִמָּנַ֖ע H4513 thee from coming מֵֽהֲלֹ֥ךְ H1980 אֵלָֽי׃ H413 17 כִּֽי H3588 For I will promote אֲכַבֶּדְךָ֙ H3513 For I will promote אֲכַבֶּדְךָ֙ H3513 thee unto very מְאֹ֔ד H3966 וְכֹ֛ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 whatsoever thou sayest תֹּאמַ֥ר H559 אֵלַ֖י H413 ק֖וּם H6965 לֵ֣ךְ H1980 אִתָּ֑ם H854 with them but yet וְאַ֗ךְ H389 אֶת H853 the word הַדָּבָ֛ר H1697 אֲשֶׁר H834 which I shall say אֲדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 אֵלֶ֖יךָ H413 אֹת֥וֹ H853 unto thee that shalt thou with the princes שָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of Moab מוֹאָֽב׃ H4124 22 was kindled וַיִּֽחַר H2734 anger אַ֣ף H639 And God's אֱלֹהִים֮ H430 כִּֽי H3588 because he went הוֹלֵ֣ךְ H1980 הוּא֒ H1931 stood וַיִּתְיַצֵּ֞ב H3320 and the angel מַלְאַ֧ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 in the way בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ H1870 for an adversary לְשָׂטָ֣ן H7854 ל֑וֹ H0 וְהוּא֙ H1931 against him Now he was riding רֹכֵ֣ב H7392 עַל H5921 upon his ass אֲתֹנ֔וֹ H860 and his two וּשְׁנֵ֥י H8147 servants נְעָרָ֖יו H5288 עִמּֽוֹ׃ H5973 23 saw וַתֵּ֣רֶא H7200 And the ass הָ֣אָת֔וֹן H860 אֶת H853 the angel מַלְאַ֨ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 standing נִצָּ֣ב H5324 her into the way הַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ H1870 and his sword וְחַרְבּ֤וֹ H2719 drawn שְׁלוּפָה֙ H8025 in his hand בְּיָד֔וֹ H3027 to turn לְהַטֹּתָ֖הּ H5186 And the ass הָ֣אָת֔וֹן H860 מִן H4480 her into the way הַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ H1870 וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ H1980 into the field בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה H7704 smote וַיַּ֤ךְ H5221 and Balaam בִּלְעָם֙ H1109 אֶת H853 And the ass הָ֣אָת֔וֹן H860 to turn לְהַטֹּתָ֖הּ H5186 her into the way הַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ H1870 24 stood וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ H5975 But the angel מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 in a path בְּמִשְׁע֖וֹל H4934 of the vineyards הַכְּרָמִ֑ים H3754 a wall וְגָדֵ֥ר H1447 מִזֶּ֖ה H2088 a wall וְגָדֵ֥ר H1447 מִזֶּֽה׃ H2088 25 saw וַתֵּ֨רֶא H7200 And when the ass הָֽאָת֜וֹן H860 אֶת H853 the angel מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 and crushed וַתִּלְחַ֛ץ H3905 אֶל H413 against the wall הַקִּ֑יר H7023 and crushed וַתִּלְחַ֛ץ H3905 אֶת H853 foot רֶ֥גֶל H7272 Balaam's בִּלְעָ֖ם H1109 אֶל H413 against the wall הַקִּ֑יר H7023 her again וַיֹּ֖סֶף H3254 and he smote לְהַכֹּתָֽהּ׃ H5221 26 further וַיּ֥וֹסֶף H3254 And the angel מַלְאַךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 went עֲב֑וֹר H5674 and stood וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ H5975 place בְּמָק֣וֹם H4725 in a narrow צָ֔ר H6862 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 אֵֽין H369 where was no way דֶּ֥רֶךְ H1870 to turn לִנְט֖וֹת H5186 either to the right hand יָמִ֥ין H3225 or to the left וּשְׂמֹֽאול׃ H8040 27 saw וַתֵּ֤רֶא H7200 And when the ass הָֽאָת֖וֹן H860 אֶת H853 the angel מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 she fell down וַתִּרְבַּ֖ץ H7257 תַּ֣חַת H8478 and Balaam's בִּלְעָ֔ם H1109 was kindled וַיִּֽחַר H2734 anger אַ֣ף H639 and Balaam's בִּלְעָ֔ם H1109 and he smote וַיַּ֥ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 And when the ass הָֽאָת֖וֹן H860 with a staff בַּמַּקֵּֽל׃ H4731 28 opened וַיִּפְתַּ֥ח H6605 And the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֶת H853 the mouth פִּ֣י H6310 of the ass הָֽאָת֑וֹן H860 and she said וַתֹּ֤אמֶר H559 unto Balaam לְבִלְעָם֙ H1109 מֶה H4100 What have I done עָשִׂ֣יתִֽי H6213 לְךָ֔ H0 כִּ֣י H3588 unto thee that thou hast smitten הִכִּיתַ֔נִי H5221 זֶ֖ה H2088 me these three שָׁלֹ֥שׁ H7969 times רְגָלִֽים׃ H7272 29 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Balaam בִּלְעָם֙ H1109 unto the ass לָֽאָת֔וֹן H860 כִּ֥י H3588 Because thou hast mocked הִתְעַלַּ֖לְתְּ H5953 בִּ֑י H0 me I would ל֤וּ H3863 there were יֶשׁ H3426 a sword חֶ֙רֶב֙ H2719 in mine hand בְּיָדִ֔י H3027 כִּ֥י H3588 עַתָּ֖ה H6258 for now would I kill הֲרַגְתִּֽיךְ׃ H2026 30 said וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 Am not I thine ass אֲתֹֽנְךָ֜ H860 אֶל H413 unto Balaam בִּלְעָ֗ם H1109 הֲלוֹא֩ H3808 אָֽנֹכִ֨י H595 Am not I thine ass eyes עֵינֵ֣י H5869 of Balaam בִלְעָם֒ H1109 and he saw וַיַּ֞רְא H7200 אֶת H853 the angel מַלְאַ֤ךְ H4397 Then the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 standing נִצָּ֣ב H5324 in the way בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ H1870 and his sword וְחַרְבּ֥וֹ H2719 drawn שְׁלֻפָ֖ה H8025 in his hand בְּיָד֑וֹ H3027 and he bowed down וַיִּקֹּ֥ד H6915 his head and fell flat וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ H7812 on his face לְאַפָּֽיו׃ H639 32 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 אֵלָיו֙ H413 And the angel מַלְאַ֣ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 עַל H5921 מָ֗ה H4100 unto him Wherefore hast thou smitten הִכִּ֙יתָ֙ H5221 אֶת H853 thine ass אֲתֹ֣נְךָ֔ H860 זֶ֖ה H2088 these three שָׁל֣וֹשׁ H7969 times רְגָלִ֑ים H7272 הִנֵּ֤ה H2009 אָֽנֹכִי֙ H595 behold I went out יָצָ֣אתִי H3318 to withstand לְשָׂטָ֔ן H7854 כִּֽי H3588 is perverse יָרַ֥ט H3399 thee because thy way הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ H1870 לְנֶגְדִּֽי׃ H5048 33 saw וַתִּרְאַ֙נִי֙ H7200 And the ass הָֽאָת֔וֹן H860 me and turned נָֽטְתָ֣ה H5186 from me מִפָּנַ֔י H6440 זֶ֖ה H2088 these three שָׁלֹ֣שׁ H7969 times רְגָלִ֑ים H7272 unless אוּלַי֙ H194 me and turned נָֽטְתָ֣ה H5186 from me מִפָּנַ֔י H6440 כִּ֥י H3588 עַתָּ֛ה H6258 גַּם H1571 אֹֽתְכָ֥ה H853 surely now also I had slain הָרַ֖גְתִּי H2026 וְאוֹתָ֥הּ H853 thee and saved her alive הֶֽחֱיֵֽיתִי׃ H2421 34 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And Balaam בִּלְעָ֜ם H1109 אֶל H413 unto the angel מַלְאַ֤ךְ H4397 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 I have sinned חָטָ֔אתִי H2398 כִּ֚י H3588 לֹ֣א H3808 for I knew יָדַ֔עְתִּי H3045 כִּ֥י H3588 אַתָּ֛ה H859 not that thou stoodest נִצָּ֥ב H5324 against לִקְרָאתִ֖י H7125 in the way בַּדָּ֑רֶךְ H1870 וְעַתָּ֛ה H6258 אִם H518 רַ֥ע H7451 וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ H1980 So Balaam בִּלְעָ֖ם H1109 עִם H5973 with the princes שָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of Balak בָלָֽק׃ H1111 36 heard וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע H8085 And when Balak בָּלָ֖ק H1111 כִּ֣י H3588 was come בָ֣א H935 that
