at other times בְּפַ֖עַם H6471 to seek לִקְרַ֣את H7125 for enchantments נְחָשִׁ֑ים H5173 but he set וַיָּ֥שֶׁת H7896 אֶל H413 toward the wilderness הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר H4057 his face פָּנָֽיו׃ H6440 2 lifted as the trees of lign aloes כַּֽאֲהָלִים֙ H174 hath planted נָטַ֣ע H5193 which the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 and as cedar trees כַּֽאֲרָזִ֖ים H730 עֲלֵי H5921 beside the waters מָֽיִם׃ H4325 7 He shall pour יִֽזַּל H5140 the water בְּמַ֣יִם H4325 of his buckets מִדָּ֣לְיָ֔ו H1805 and his seed וְזַרְע֖וֹ H2233 the water בְּמַ֣יִם H4325 shall be in many רַבִּ֑ים H7227 shall be higher וְיָרֹ֤ם H7311 than Agag מֵֽאֲגַג֙ H90 and his king מַלְכּ֔וֹ H4428 shall be exalted וְתִנַּשֵּׂ֖א H5375 and his kingdom מַלְכֻתֽוֹ׃ H4438 8 God אֵ֚ל H410 brought him forth מֽוֹצִיא֣וֹ H3318 out of Egypt מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם H4714 he hath as it were the strength כְּתֽוֹעֲפֹ֥ת H8443 of an unicorn רְאֵ֖ם H7214 ל֑וֹ H0 he shall eat up יֹאכַ֞ל H398 the nations גּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 his enemies צָרָ֗יו H6862 their bones וְעַצְמֹֽתֵיהֶ֛ם H6106 and shall break יְגָרֵ֖ם H1633 them through with his arrows וְחִצָּ֥יו H2671 and pierce יִמְחָֽץ׃ H4272 9 He couched כָּרַ֨ע H3766 he lay down שָׁכַ֧ב H7901 as a lion כַּֽאֲרִ֛י H738 and as a great lion וּכְלָבִ֖יא H3833 מִ֣י H4310 who shall stir him up יְקִימֶ֑נּוּ H6965 Blessed בָר֔וּךְ H1288 Blessed בָר֔וּךְ H1288 is he that curseth אָרֽוּר׃ H779 is he that curseth H3068 from honour מִכָּבֽוֹד׃ H3519 12 said לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 And Balaam בִּלְעָ֖ם H1109 אֶל H413 unto Balak בָּלָ֑ק H1111 הֲלֹ֗א H3808 גַּ֧ם H1571 אֶל H413 I not also to thy messengers מַלְאָכֶ֛יךָ H4397 אֲשֶׁר H834 which thou sentest שָׁלַ֥חְתָּ H7971 אֵלַ֖י H413 Spake דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי H1696 said לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 13 אִם H518 would give יִתֶּן H5414 לִ֨י H0 If Balak בָלָ֜ק H1111 full מְלֹ֣א H4393 me his house בֵיתוֹ֮ H1004 of silver כֶּ֣סֶף H3701 and gold וְזָהָב֒ H2091 לֹ֣א H3808 I cannot אוּכַ֗ל H3201 go beyond לַֽעֲבֹר֙ H5674 אֶת H853 the commandment פִּ֣י H6310 but what the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 to the knowledge דַּ֣עַת H1847 of the most High עֶלְי֑וֹן H5945 the vision מַֽחֲזֵ֤ה H4236 of the Almighty שַׁדַּי֙ H7706 which saw יֶֽחֱזֶ֔ה H2372 falling נֹפֵ֖ל H5307 open וּגְל֥וּי H1540 into a trance but having his eyes עֵינָֽיִם׃ H5869 17 I shall see אֶרְאֶ֙נּוּ֙ H7200 וְלֹ֣א H3808 עַתָּ֔ה H6258 him but not now I shall behold אֲשׁוּרֶ֖נּוּ H7789 וְלֹ֣א H3808 him but not nigh קָר֑וֹב H7138 there shall come דָּרַ֨ךְ H1869 a Star כּוֹכָ֜ב H3556 out of Jacob מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֗ב H3290 shall rise וְקָ֥ם H6965 and a Sceptre שֵׁ֙בֶט֙ H7626 out of Israel מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 and shall smite וּמָחַץ֙ H4272 the corners פַּֽאֲתֵ֣י H6285 of Moab מוֹאָ֔ב H4124 and destroy וְקַרְקַ֖ר H6979 כָּל H3605 all the children בְּנֵי H1121 שֵֽׁת׃ H8351 18 וְהָיָ֨ה H1961 And Edom אֱד֜וֹם H123 also shall be a possession יְרֵשָׁ֛ה H3424 וְהָיָ֧ה H1961 also shall be a possession יְרֵשָׁ֛ה H3424 Seir שֵׂעִ֖יר H8165 for his enemies אֹֽיְבָ֑יו H341 and Israel וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 shall do עֹ֥שֶׂה H6213 valiantly חָֽיִל׃ H2428 19 shall come he that shall have dominion וְיֵ֖רְדְּ H7287 Out of Jacob מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 and shall destroy וְהֶֽאֱבִ֥יד H6 him that remaineth שָׂרִ֖יד H8300 of the city מֵעִֽיר׃ H5892 20 And when he looked וַיַּרְא֙ H7200 אֶת H853 Amalek עֲמָלֵ֔ק H6002 he took up וַיִּשָּׂ֥א H5375 his parable מְשָׁל֖וֹ H4912 and said וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 was the first רֵאשִׁ֤ית H7225 of the nations גּוֹיִם֙ H1471 Amalek עֲמָלֵ֔ק H6002 but his latter וְאַֽחֲרִית֖וֹ H319 for ever עֲדֵ֥י H5703 end shall be that he perish אֹבֵֽד׃ H8 21 And he looked וַיַּרְא֙ H7200 אֶת H853 on the Kenites הַקֵּינִ֔י H7017 and took up וַיִּשָּׂ֥א H5375 his parable מְשָׁל֖וֹ H4912 and said וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 Strong אֵיתָן֙ H386 is thy dwellingplace מֽוֹשָׁבֶ֔ךָ H4186 and thou puttest וְשִׂ֥ים H7760 in a rock בַּסֶּ֖לַע H5553 thy nest קִנֶּֽךָ׃ H7064 22 כִּ֥י H3588 shall אִם H518 יִֽהְיֶ֖ה H1961 be wasted לְבָ֣עֵֽר H1197 Nevertheless the Kenite קָ֑יִן H7014 עַד H5704 מָ֖ה H4100 until Asshur אַשּׁ֥וּר H804 shall carry thee away captive תִּשְׁבֶּֽךָּ׃ H7617 23 And he took up וַיִּשָּׂ֥א H5375 his parable מְשָׁל֖וֹ H4912 and said וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 Alas א֕וֹי H188 מִ֥י H4310 who shall live יִֽחְיֶ֖ה H2421 doeth מִשֻּׂמ֥וֹ H7760 when God אֵֽל׃ H410 24 And ships וְצִים֙ H6716 shall come from the coast מִיַּ֣ד H3027 of Chittim כִּתִּ֔ים H3794 and shall afflict וְעִנּוּ H6031 Asshur אַשּׁ֖וּר H804 and shall afflict וְעִנּוּ H6031 Eber עֵ֑בֶר H5677 וְגַם H1571 ה֖וּא H1931 for ever עֲדֵ֥י H5703 and he also shall perish אֹבֵֽד׃ H8 25 rose up וַיָּ֣קָם H6965 And Balaam בִּלְעָ֔ם H1109 also went הָלַ֥ךְ H1980
