Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 וְהֵ֣מָּה H1992 who were weeping בֹכִ֔ים H1058 before the door פֶּ֖תַח H6607 of the tabernacle אֹ֥הֶל H168 of the congregation מוֹעֵֽד׃ H4150 7 saw וַיַּ֗רְא H7200 And when Phinehas פִּֽינְחָס֙ H6372 the son בֶּֽן H1121 of Eleazar אֶלְעָזָ֔ר H499 the son בֶּֽן H1121 of Aaron אַהֲרֹ֖ן H175 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֑ן H3548 it he rose up וַיָּ֙קָם֙ H6965 from among מִתּ֣וֹךְ H8432 the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֔ה H5712 and took וַיִּקַּ֥ח H3947 a javelin רֹ֖מַח H7420 in his hand בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ H3027 8 And he went וַ֠יָּבֹא H935 after אַחַ֨ר H310 of them through the man אִ֣ישׁ H376 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 through אֶל H413 into the tent הַקֻּבָּ֗ה H6898 and thrust וַיִּדְקֹר֙ H1856 אֶת H853 both שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם H8147 אֵ֚ת H853 of them through the man אִ֣ישׁ H376 of Israel בְּנֵ֥י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 9 וַיִּֽהְי֕וּ H1961 And those that died הַמֵּתִ֖ים H4191 in the plague בַּמַּגֵּפָ֑ה H4046 and four אַרְבָּעָ֥ה H702 were twenty וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים H6242 thousand בְּרִיתִ֖י H1285 of peace שָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 13 וְהָ֤יְתָה H1961 לּוֹ֙ H0 And he shall have it and his seed וּלְזַרְע֣וֹ H2233 after אַֽחֲרָ֔יו H310 him even the covenant בְּרִ֖ית H1285 priesthood כְּהֻנַּ֣ת H3550 of an everlasting עוֹלָ֑ם H5769 תַּ֗חַת H8478 because אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 he was zealous קִנֵּא֙ H7065 for his God לֵֽאלֹהָ֔יו H430 and made an atonement וַיְכַפֵּ֖ר H3722 עַל H5921 for the הֻכָּה֙ H5221 אֶת H854 with the Midianitish woman הַמִּדְיָנִ֔ית H4084 was Zimri זִמְרִ֖י H2174 the son בֶּן H1121 of Salu סָל֑וּא H5543 a prince נְשִׂ֥יא H5387 house בֵֽית H1004 of a chief אָ֖ב H1 among the Simeonites לַשִּׁמְעֹנִֽי׃ H8099 15 And the name וְשֵׁ֨ם H8034 woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֧ה H802 that was slain הַמֻּכָּ֛ה H5221 of the Midianitish הַמִּדְיָנִ֖ית H4084 was Cozbi כָּזְבִּ֣י H3579 the daughter בַת H1323 of Zur צ֑וּר H6698 he was head רֹ֣אשׁ H7218 over a people אֻמּ֥וֹת H523 house בֵּֽית H1004 and of a chief אָ֛ב H1 in Midian בְּמִדְיָ֖ן H4080 הֽוּא׃ H1931 16 spake וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 And the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֥ה H4872 saying לֵּאמֹֽר׃ H559 17 Vex צָר֖וֹר H6887 אֶת H853 the Midianites הַמִּדְיָנִ֑ים H4084 and smite וְהִכִּיתֶ֖ם H5221 אוֹתָֽם׃ H853 18 כִּ֣י H3588 For they vex צֹֽרְרִ֥ים H6887 הֵם֙ H1992 לָכֶ֔ם H0 you with their wiles בְּנִכְלֵיהֶ֛ם H5231 אֲשֶׁר H834 wherewith they have beguiled נִכְּל֥וּ H5230 לָכֶ֖ם H0 עַל H5921 and in the matter דְּבַר
