ye shall give תִּתְּנ֖וּ H5414 unto the Levites לַלְוִיִּ֑ם H3881 shall reach from the wall מִקִּ֤יר H7023 of the cities הָעִיר֙ H5892 and outward וָח֔וּצָה H2351 a thousand אֶ֥לֶף H505 cubits אַמָּ֖ה H520 round about סָבִֽיב׃ H5439 5 And ye shall measure וּמַדֹּתֶ֞ם H4058 from without מִח֣וּץ H2351 and the city הֶֽעָרִֽים׃ H5892 אֶת H853 side פְּאַ֥ת H6285 on the east קֵ֣דְמָה H6924 two thousand הֶֽעָרִֽים׃ H5892 shall be in the midst בַּתָּ֑וֶךְ H8432 זֶ֚ה H2088 יִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 לָהֶ֔ם H0 this shall be to them the suburbs מִגְרְשֵׁ֖י H4054 and the city הֶֽעָרִֽים׃ H5892 6 וְאֵ֣ת H853 And among the cities עִֽיר׃ H5892 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 thither and to them ye shall add תִּתְּנ֔וּ H5414 unto the Levites לַלְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 אֵ֚ת H853 there shall be six שֵׁשׁ H8337 And among the cities עִֽיר׃ H5892 for refuge הַמִּקְלָ֔ט H4733 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 thither and to them ye shall add תִּתְּנ֔וּ H5414 that he may flee לָנֻ֥ס H5127 שָׁ֖מָּה H8033 for the manslayer הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ H7523 וַֽעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם H5921 shall be unto you cities הֶֽעָרִ֛ים H5892 for refuge לְמִקְלָ֖ט H4733 from the avenger מִגֹּאֵ֑ל H1350 וְלֹ֤א H3808 die יָמוּת֙ H4191 that the manslayer הָֽרֹצֵ֔חַ H7523 עַד H5704 not until he stand עָמְד֛וֹ H5975 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֖ה H5712 in judgment לַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ H4941 13 And of these cities עָרֵ֥י H5892 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which ye shall give תִּתֵּ֑נוּ H5414 six שֵׁשׁ H8337 And of these cities עָרֵ֥י H5892 shall ye have for refuge מִקְלָ֖ט H4733 תִּֽהְיֶ֥ינָה H1961 לָכֶֽם׃ H0 14 אֵ֣ת׀ H853 and three שְׁלֹ֣שׁ H7969 cities עָרֵ֥י H5892 Ye shall give תִּתְּנ֖וּ H5414 on this side מֵעֵ֣בֶר H5676 Jordan לַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן H3383 וְאֵת֙ H853 and three שְׁלֹ֣שׁ H7969 cities עָרֵ֥י H5892 Ye shall give תִּתְּנ֖וּ H5414 in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Canaan כְּנָ֑עַן H3667 cities עָרֵ֥י H5892 of refuge מִקְלָ֖ט H4733 תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃ H1961 15 both for the children לִבְנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 and for the stranger וְלַגֵּ֤ר H1616 and for the sojourner וְלַתּוֹשָׁב֙ H8453 among בְּתוֹכָ֔ם H8432 תִּֽהְיֶ֛ינָה H1961 These six שֵׁשׁ H8337 cities הֶֽעָרִ֥ים H5892 הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 shall be a refuge לְמִקְלָ֑ט H4733 may flee לָנ֣וּס H5127 שָׁ֔מָּה H8033 כָּל H3605 them that every one that killeth מַכֵּה H5221 any person נֶ֖פֶשׁ H5315 unawares בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃ H7684 16 וְאִם H518 him with an instrument בִּכְלִ֨י H3627 of iron בַרְזֶ֧ל׀ H1270 And if he smite הִכָּ֛הוּ H5221 be put to death יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 ה֑וּא H1931 be put to death יוּמַ֖ת H4191 be put to death יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 17 וְאִ֡ם H518 a stone בְּאֶ֣בֶן H68 him with throwing יָד֩ H3027 אֲשֶׁר H834 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 בָּ֥הּ H0 And if he smite הִכָּ֛הוּ H5221 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 ה֑וּא H1931 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 18 א֡וֹ H176 weapon בִּכְלִ֣י H3627 of wood עֵֽץ H6086 him with an hand יָד֩ H3027 אֲשֶׁר H834 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 בּ֥וֹ H0 Or if he smite הִכָּ֛הוּ H5221 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 ה֑וּא H1931 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 and he die יוּמַ֖ת H4191 he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵֽחַ׃ H7523 19 The revenger גֹּאֵ֣ל H1350 of blood הַדָּ֔ם H1818 him he ה֥וּא H1931 himself shall slay יְמִתֶֽנּוּ׃ H4191 אֶת H853 the murderer הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ H7523 when he meeteth בְּפִגְעוֹ H6293 ב֖וֹ H0 him he ה֥וּא H1931 himself shall slay יְמִתֶֽנּוּ׃ H4191 20 וְאִם H518 him of hatred בְּשִׂנְאָ֖ה H8135 But if he thrust יֶהְדָּפֶ֑נּוּ H1920 אֽוֹ H176 or hurl הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ H7993 עָלָ֛יו H5921 at him by laying of wait בִּצְדִיָּ֖ה H6660 that he die וַיָּמֹֽת׃ H4191 21 א֣וֹ H176 Or in enmity בְאֵיבָ֞ה H342 he that smote הַמַּכֶּ֖ה H5221 him with his hand בְיָדוֹ֙ H3027 be blood הַדָּ֗ם H1818 be put to death יָמִ֛ית H4191 אֶת H853 for he is a murderer הָֽרֹצֵ֖חַ H7523 when he meeteth בְּפִגְעוֹ H6293 בֽוֹ׃ H0 22 וְאִם H518 him suddenly בְּפֶ֥תַע H6621 without בְּלֹ֥א H3808 enmity אֵיבָ֖ה H342 But if he thrust הֲדָפ֑וֹ H1920 אוֹ H176 or have cast הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ H7993 עָלָ֛יו H5921 כָּל H3605 upon him any thing כְּלִ֖י H3627 without בְּלֹ֥א H3808 without laying of wait צְדִיָּֽה׃ H6660 23 א֣וֹ H176 בְכָל H3605 Or with any stone אֶ֜בֶן H68 אֲשֶׁר H834 it upon him that he die וַיָּמֹ֑ת H4191 בָּהּ֙ H0 him not וְלֹ֥א H3808 seeing רְא֔וֹת H7200 and cast וַיַּפֵּ֥ל H5307 עָלָ֖יו H5921 it upon him that he die וַיָּמֹ֑ת H4191 וְהוּא֙ H1931 him not וְלֹ֥א H3808 and was not his enemy אוֹיֵ֣ב H341 ל֔וֹ H0 him not וְלֹ֥א H3808 neither sought מְבַקֵּ֖שׁ H1245 his harm רָֽעָתֽוֹ׃ H7451 24 shall judge וְשָֽׁפְטוּ֙ H8199 Then the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֔ה H5712 בֵּ֚ין H996 between the slayer הַמַּכֶּ֔ה H5221 וּבֵ֖ין H996 and the revenger גֹּאֵ֣ל H1350 of blood הַדָּ֑ם H1818 עַ֥ל H5921 according to these judgments הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים H4941 הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 25 shall deliver וְהִצִּ֨ילוּ H5337 And the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֔ה H5712 אֶת H853 the slayer הָֽרֹצֵ֗חַ H7523 out of the hand מִיַּד֮ H3027 of the revenger גֹּאֵ֣ל H1350 of blood הַדָּם֒ H1818 shall restore וְהֵשִׁ֤יבוּ H7725 אֹתוֹ֙ H853 And the congregation הָֽעֵדָ֔ה H5712 אֶל H413 him to the city עִ֥יר H5892 of his refuge מִקְלָט֖וֹ H4733 אֲשֶׁר H834 whither he was fled נָ֣ס H5127 שָׁ֑מָּה H8033 and he shall abide וְיָ֣שַׁב H3427 בָּ֗הּ H0 עַד H5704 in it unto the death מוֹת֙ H4194 priest הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 of the high הַגָּדֹ֔ל H1419 אֲשֶׁר H834 which was anointed מָשַׁ֥ח H4886 אֹת֖וֹ H853 oil בְּשֶׁ֥מֶן H8081 with the holy הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ H6944 26 וְאִם H518 come יֵצֵ֖א H3318 come יֵצֵ֖א H3318 But if the slayer הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ H7523 אֶת H853 without the border גְּבוּל֙ H1366 of the city עִ֣יר H5892 of his refuge מִקְלָט֔וֹ H4733 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whither he was fled יָנ֖וּס H5127 שָֽׁמָּה׃ H8033 27 find וּמָצָ֤א H4672 אֹתוֹ֙ H853 And the revenger גֹּאֵ֤ל H1350 he shall not be guilty of blood דָּֽם׃ H1818 him without מִח֕וּץ H2351 the borders לִגְב֖וּל H1366 of the city עִ֣יר H5892 of his refuge מִקְלָט֑וֹ H4733 kill הָ֣רֹצֵ֔חַ H7523 And the revenger גֹּאֵ֤ל H1350 he shall not be guilty of blood דָּֽם׃ H1818 אֶת H853 kill הָ֣רֹצֵ֔חַ H7523 אֵ֥ין H369 ל֖וֹ H0 he shall not be guilty of blood דָּֽם׃ H1818 28 כִּ֣י H3588 in the city בְעִ֤יר H5892 of his refuge מִקְלָטוֹ֙ H4733 Because he should have remained יֵשֵׁ֔ב H3427 עַד H5704 the death מוֹת֙ H4194 priest הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 of the high הַגָּדֹ֔ל H1419 but after וְאַֽחֲרֵ֥י H310 the death מוֹת֙ H4194 priest הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 of the high הַגָּדֹ֔ל H1419 shall return יָשׁוּב֙ H7725 the slayer הָֽרֹצֵ֔חַ H7523 אֶל H413 into the land אֶ֖רֶץ H776 of his possession אֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃ H272 29 וְהָי֨וּ H1961 אֵ֧לֶּה H428 לָכֶ֛ם H0 So these things shall be for a statute לְחֻקַּ֥ת H2708 of judgment מִשְׁפָּ֖ט H4941 unto you throughout your generations לְדֹרֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם H1755 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 in all your dwellings מוֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ H4186 30 כָּל H3605 Whoso killeth מַ֨כֵּה H5221 against any person בְנֶ֖פֶשׁ H5315 by the mouth לְפִ֣י H6310 of witnesses וְעֵ֣ד H5707 shall be put to death הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ H7523 אֶת H853 shall be put to death הָֽרֹצֵ֑חַ H7523 of witnesses וְעֵ֣ד H5707 but one אֶחָ֔ד H259 לֹֽא H3808 shall not testify יַעֲנֶ֥ה H6030 against any person בְנֶ֖פֶשׁ H5315 to cause him to die לָמֽוּת׃ H4191 31 וְלֹֽא H3808 Moreover ye shall take תִקְח֥וּ H3947 no satisfaction כֹ֙פֶר֙ H3724 for the life לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ H5315 of a murderer רֹצֵ֔חַ H7523 אֲשֶׁר H834 ה֥וּא H1931 which is guilty רָשָׁ֖ע H7563 but he shall be surely יוּמָֽת׃ H4191 כִּי H3588 but he shall be surely יוּמָֽת׃ H4191 but he shall be surely יוּמָֽת׃ H4191 32 וְלֹֽא H3808 And ye shall take תִקְח֣וּ H3947 no satisfaction כֹ֔פֶר H3724 for him that is fled לָנ֖וּס H5127 אֶל H413 to the city עִ֣יר H5892 of his refuge מִקְלָט֑וֹ H4733 that he should come again לָשׁוּב֙ H7725 to dwell לָשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 in the land בָּאָ֔רֶץ H776 עַד H5704 until the death מ֖וֹת H4194 of the priest הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ H3548 33 וְלֹֽא H3808 So ye shall not pollute יַֽחֲנִ֖יף H2610 אֶת H853 and the land וְלָאָ֣רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 אַתֶּם֙ H859 בָּ֔הּ H0 כִּ֣י H3588 of the blood בְּדַ֥ם H1818 ה֥וּא H1931 So ye shall not pollute יַֽחֲנִ֖יף H2610 אֶת H853 and the land וְלָאָ֣רֶץ H776
