H1121 A wise חָ֭כָם H2450 maketh a glad יְשַׂמַּח H8055 father אָ֑ב H1 son וּבֵ֥ן H1121 but a foolish כְּ֝סִ֗יל H3684 is the heaviness תּוּגַ֥ת H8424 of his mother אִמּֽוֹ׃ H517 2 לֹא H3808 profit י֭וֹעִילוּ H3276 Treasures אוֹצְר֣וֹת H214 of wickedness רֶ֑שַׁע H7562 nothing but righteousness וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה H6666 delivereth תַּצִּ֥יל H5337 from death מִמָּֽוֶת׃ H4194 3 לֹֽא H3808 to famish יַרְעִ֣יב H7456 The LORD יְ֭הוָה H3068 the soul נֶ֣פֶשׁ H5315 of the righteous צַדִּ֑יק H6662 the substance וְהַוַּ֖ת H1942 of the wicked רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 but he casteth away יֶהְדֹּֽף׃ H1920 4 He of the LORD יְ֭הוָה H3068 הִ֣יא H1931 it maketh rich תַעֲשִׁ֑יר H6238 וְלֹֽא H3808 and he addeth יוֹסִ֖ף H3254 no sorrow עֶ֣צֶב H6089 עִמָּֽהּ׃ H5973 23 It is as sport כִּשְׂח֣וֹק H7814 to a fool לִ֭כְסִיל H3684 to do עֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 mischief זִמָּ֑ה H2154 hath wisdom וְ֝חָכְמָ֗ה H2451 but a man לְאִ֣ישׁ H376 of understanding תְּבוּנָֽה׃ H8394 24 The fear מְגוֹרַ֣ת H4034 of the wicked רָ֭שָׁע H7563 הִ֣יא H1931 it shall come תְבוֹאֶ֑נּוּ H935 upon him but the desire וְתַאֲוַ֖ת H8378 of the righteous צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 shall be granted יִתֵּֽן׃ H5414 25 passeth כַּעֲב֣וֹר H5674 As the whirlwind ס֭וּפָה H5492 וְאֵ֣ין H369 so is the wicked רָשָׁ֑ע H7563 no more but the righteous וְ֝צַדִּ֗יק H6662 foundation יְס֣וֹד H3247 is an everlasting עוֹלָֽם׃ H5769 26 As vinegar כַּחֹ֤מֶץ׀ H2558 to the teeth לַשִּׁנַּ֗יִם H8127 and as smoke וְכֶעָשָׁ֥ן H6227 to the eyes לָעֵינָ֑יִם H5869 כֵּ֥ן H3651 so is the sluggard הֶ֝עָצֵ֗ל H6102 to them that send לְשֹׁלְחָֽיו׃ H7971 27 The fear יִרְאַ֣ת H3374 of the LORD יְ֭הוָה H3068 prolongeth תּוֹסִ֣יף H3254 days יָמִ֑ים H3117 but the years וּשְׁנ֖וֹת H8141 of the wicked רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 shall be shortened תִּקְצֹֽרְנָה׃ H7114 28 The hope תּוֹחֶ֣לֶת H8431 of the righteous צַדִּיקִ֣ים H6662 shall be gladness שִׂמְחָ֑ה H8057 but the expectation וְתִקְוַ֖ת H8615 of the wicked רְשָׁעִ֣ים H7563 shall perish תֹּאבֵֽד׃ H6 29 is strength מָע֣וֹז H4581 to the upright לַ֭תֹּם H8537 The way דֶּ֣רֶךְ H1870 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 but destruction וּ֝מְחִתָּ֗ה H4288 shall be to the workers לְפֹ֣עֲלֵי H6466 of iniquity אָֽוֶן׃ H205 30 The righteous צַדִּ֣יק H6662 shall never לְעוֹלָ֣ם H5769 בַּל H1077 be removed יִמּ֑וֹט H4131 but the wicked וּ֝רְשָׁעִ֗ים H7563 לֹ֣א H3808 shall not inhabit יִשְׁכְּנוּ H7931 the earth אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 31 The mouth פִּֽי H6310 of the just צַ֭דִּיק H6662 bringeth forth יָנ֣וּב H5107 wisdom חָכְמָ֑ה H2451 tongue וּלְשׁ֥וֹן H3956 but the froward תַּ֝הְפֻּכ֗וֹת H8419 shall be cut out תִּכָּרֵֽת׃ H3772 32
