they said אָ֭מְרוּ H559 Can הֲי֣וּכַל H3201 God אֵ֑ל H410 furnish לַעֲרֹ֥ךְ H6186 a table שֻׁ֝לְחָ֗ן H7979 in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 20 הֵ֤ן H2005 Behold he smote הִכָּה H5221 the rock צ֨וּר׀ H6697 gushed out וַיָּז֣וּבוּ H2100 that the waters מַיִם֮ H4325 and the streams וּנְחָלִ֪ים H5158 overflowed יִ֫שְׁטֹ֥פוּ H7857 הֲגַם H1571 bread לֶ֭חֶם H3899 also can י֣וּכַל H3201 he give commanded וַיְצַ֣ו H6680 the clouds שְׁחָקִ֣ים H7834 from above מִמָּ֑עַל H4605 the doors וְדַלְתֵ֖י H1817 of heaven שָׁמַ֣יִם H8064 and opened פָּתָֽח׃ H6605 24 And had rained down וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר H4305 עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם H5921 manna מָ֣ן H4478 upon them to eat לֶאֱכֹ֑ל H398 them of the corn וּדְגַן H1715 of heaven שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם H8064 and had given נָ֣תַן H5414 לָֽמוֹ׃ H0 25 food לֶ֣חֶם H3899 angels אַ֭בִּירִים H47 did eat אָ֣כַל H398 Man אִ֑ישׁ H376 them meat צֵידָ֬ה H6720 he sent שָׁלַ֖ח H7971 לָהֶ֣ם H1992 to the full לָשֹֽׂבַע׃ H7648 26 to blow יַסַּ֣ע H5265 He caused an east wind קָ֭דִים H6921 in the heaven בַּשָּׁמָ֑יִם H8064 he brought in וַיְנַהֵ֖ג H5090 and by his power בְּעֻזּ֣וֹ H5797 the south wind תֵימָֽן׃ H8486 27 He rained וַיַּמְטֵ֬ר H4305 עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם H5921 also upon them as dust כֶּעָפָ֣ר H6083 flesh שְׁאֵ֑ר H7607 like as the sand וּֽכְח֥וֹל H2344 of the sea יַ֝מִּ֗ים H3220 fowls ע֣וֹף H5775 and feathered כָּנָֽף׃ H3671 28 And he let it fall וַ֭יַּפֵּל H5307 in the midst בְּקֶ֣רֶב H7130 of their camp מַחֲנֵ֑הוּ H4264 round about סָ֝בִ֗יב H5439 their habitations לְמִשְׁכְּנֹתָֽיו׃ H4908 29 So they did eat וַיֹּאכְל֣וּ H398 filled וַיִּשְׂבְּע֣וּ H7646 and were well בְּמִשְׁמַנֵּיהֶ֑ם H4924 the chosen וּבַחוּרֵ֖י H970 men of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל H3478 of them and smote down הִכְרִֽיעַ׃ H3766 32 בְּכָל H3605 זֹ֭את H2063 For all this they sinned חָֽטְאוּ H2398 ע֑וֹד H5750 וְלֹֽא H3808 still and believed הֶ֝אֱמִ֗ינוּ H539 not for his wondrous works בְּנִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו׃ H6381 33 did he consume וַיְכַל H3615 in vanity בַּהֶ֥בֶל H1892 Therefore their days יְמֵיהֶ֑ם H3117 and their years וּ֝שְׁנוֹתָ֗ם H8141 in trouble בַּבֶּהָלָֽה׃ H928 34 אִם H518 When he slew הֲרָגָ֥ם H2026 them then they sought וּדְרָשׁ֑וּהוּ H1875 him and they returned וְ֝שָׁ֗בוּ H7725 and enquired early וְשִֽׁחֲרוּ H7836 after God אֵֽל׃ H410 35 And they remembered וַֽ֭יִּזְכְּרוּ H2142 כִּֽי H3588 that God אֱלֹהִ֣ים H430 was their rock צוּרָ֑ם H6697 God וְאֵ֥ל H410 and the high בִּבְרִיתֽוֹ׃ H1285 38 וְה֤וּא H1931 But he being full of compassion רַח֨וּם׀ H7349 forgave יְכַפֵּ֥ר H3722 their iniquity עָוֹן֮ H5771 וְֽלֹא H3808 and destroyed יַ֫שְׁחִ֥ית H7843 them not yea many a time וְ֭הִרְבָּה H7235 away לְהָשִׁ֣יב H7725 he his anger אַפּ֑וֹ H639 וְלֹֽא H3808 and did not stir up יָ֝עִיר H5782 כָּל H3605 all his wrath חֲמָתֽוֹ׃ H2534 39 For he remembered וַ֭יִּזְכֹּר H2142 כִּי H3588 that they were but flesh בָשָׂ֣ר H1320 הֵ֑מָּה H1992 a wind ר֥וּחַ H7307 that passeth away ה֝וֹלֵ֗ךְ H1980 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and cometh not again יָשֽׁוּב׃ H7725 40 How כַּ֭מָּה H4100 oft did they provoke יַמְר֣וּהוּ H4784 him in the wilderness בַמִּדְבָּ֑ר H4057 and grieve יַ֝עֲצִיב֗וּהוּ H6087 him in the desert בִּֽישִׁימֽוֹן׃ H3452 41 Yea they turned back וַיָּשׁ֣וּבוּ H7725 and tempted וַיְנַסּ֣וּ H5254 God אֵ֑ל H410 the Holy One וּקְד֖וֹשׁ H6918 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל H3478 and limited הִתְווּ׃ H8428 42 לֹא H3808 They remembered זָכְר֥וּ H2142 אֶת H853 not his hand יָד֑וֹ H3027 nor the day י֝֗וֹם H3117 אֲֽשֶׁר H834 when he delivered פָּדָ֥ם H6299 מִנִּי H4480 them from the enemy צָֽר׃ H6862 43 אֲשֶׁר H834 How he had wrought שָׂ֣ם H7760 in Egypt בְּ֭מִצְרַיִם H4714 his signs אֹֽתוֹתָ֑יו H226 and his wonders וּ֝מוֹפְתָ֗יו H4159 in the field בִּשְׂדֵה H7704 of Zoan צֹֽעַן׃ H6814 44 And had turned וַיַּהֲפֹ֣ךְ H2015 into blood לְ֭דָם H1818 their rivers יְאֹרֵיהֶ֑ם H2975 and their floods וְ֝נֹזְלֵיהֶ֗ם H5140 בַּל H1077 that they could not drink יִשְׁתָּיֽוּן׃ H8354 45 He sent יְשַׁלַּ֬ח H7971 בָּהֶ֣ם H0 divers sorts of flies עָ֭רֹב H6157 among them which devoured וַיֹּאכְלֵ֑ם H398 them and frogs וּ֝צְפַרְדֵּ֗עַ H6854 which destroyed וַתַּשְׁחִיתֵֽם׃ H7843 46 He gave וַיִּתֵּ֣ן H5414 unto the caterpiller לֶחָסִ֣יל H2625 also their increase יְבוּלָ֑ם H2981 and their labour וִֽ֝יגִיעָ֗ם H3018 unto the locust לָאַרְבֶּֽה׃ H697 47 He destroyed יַהֲרֹ֣ג H2026 with hail בַּבָּרָ֣ד H1259 their vines גַּפְנָ֑ם H1612 and their sycomore trees וְ֝שִׁקְמוֹתָ֗ם H8256 with frost בַּֽחֲנָמַֽל׃ H2602 48 He gave up וַיַּסְגֵּ֣ר H5462 also to the hail לַבָּרָ֣ד H1259 their cattle בְּעִירָ֑ם H1165 and their flocks וּ֝מִקְנֵיהֶ֗ם H4735 to hot thunderbolts לָרְשָׁפִֽים׃ H7565 49 He cast יְשַׁלַּח H7971 בָּ֨ם׀ H0 upon them the fierceness חֲר֬וֹן H2740 of his anger אַפּ֗וֹ H639 wrath עֶבְרָ֣ה H5678 and indignation וָזַ֣עַם H2195 and trouble וְצָרָ֑ה H6869 by sending מִ֝שְׁלַ֗חַת H4917 angels מַלְאֲכֵ֥י H4397 evil רָעִֽים׃ H7451 50 He made יְפַלֵּ֥ס H6424 a way נָתִ֗יב H5410 to his anger לְאַ֫פּ֥וֹ H639 לֹא H3808 he spared חָשַׂ֣ךְ H2820 from death מִמָּ֣וֶת H4194 not their soul נַפְשָׁ֑ם H5315 their life וְ֝חַיָּתָ֗ם H2416 to the pestilence לַדֶּ֥בֶר H1698 but gave הִסְגִּֽיר׃ H5462 51 And smote וַיַּ֣ךְ H5221 כָּל H3605 all the firstborn בְּכ֣וֹר H1060 in Egypt בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 the chief רֵאשִׁ֥ית H7225 of their strength א֝וֹנִ֗ים H202 in the tabernacles בְּאָהֳלֵי H168 of Ham חָֽם׃ H2526 52 to go forth וַיַּסַּ֣ע H5265 like sheep כַּצֹּ֣אן H6629 But made his own people עַמּ֑וֹ H5971 and guided וַֽיְנַהֲגֵ֥ם H5090 like a flock כַּ֝עֵ֗דֶר H5739 them in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ H4057 53 And he led וַיַּנְחֵ֣ם H5148 them on safely לָ֭בֶטַח H983 וְלֹ֣א H3808 so that they feared פָחָ֑דוּ H6342 וְאֶת H853 their enemies א֝וֹיְבֵיהֶ֗ם H341 overwhelmed כִּסָּ֥ה H3680 not but the sea הַיָּֽם׃ H3220 54 And he brought וַ֭יְבִיאֵם H935 אֶל H413 them to the border גְּב֣וּל H1366 of his sanctuary קָדְשׁ֑וֹ H6944 even to this mountain הַר H2022 זֶ֝֗ה H2088 had purchased קָנְתָ֥ה H7069 which his right hand יְמִינֽוֹ׃ H3225 55 He cast out וַיְגָ֤רֶשׁ H1644 also before מִפְּנֵיהֶ֨ם׀ H6440 the heathen גּוֹיִ֗ם H1471 them and divided וַֽ֭יַּפִּילֵם H5307 by line בְּחֶ֣בֶל H2256 them an inheritance נַחֲלָ֑ה H5159 to dwell וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֥ן H7931 in their tents בְּ֝אָהֳלֵיהֶ֗ם H168 and made the tribes שִׁבְטֵ֥י H7626 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 56 Yet they tempted וַיְנַסּ֣וּ H5254 and provoked וַ֭יַּמְרוּ H4784 אֶת H853 God אֱלֹהִ֣ים H430 the most high עֶלְי֑וֹן H5945 not his testimonies וְ֝עֵדוֹתָ֗יו H5713 לֹ֣א H3808 and kept שָׁמָֽרוּ׃ H8104 57 But turned back וַיִּסֹּ֣גוּ H5472 and dealt unfaithfully וַֽ֭יִּבְגְּדוּ H898 like their fathers כַּאֲבוֹתָ֑ם H1 they were turned aside נֶ֝הְפְּכ֗וּ H2015 bow כְּקֶ֣שֶׁת H7198 like a deceitful רְמִיָּֽה׃ H7423 58 For they provoked him to anger וַיַּכְעִיס֥וּהוּ H3707 with their high places בְּבָמוֹתָ֑ם H1116 with their graven images וּ֝בִפְסִילֵיהֶ֗ם H6456 and moved him to jealousy יַקְנִיאֽוּהוּ׃ H7065 59 heard שָׁמַ֣ע H8085 When God אֱ֭לֹהִים H430 this he was wroth the tent אֹ֝֗הֶל H168 which he placed שִׁכֵּ֥ן H7931 among men בָּאָדָֽם׃ H120 61 And delivered וַיִּתֵּ֣ן H5414 into captivity לַשְּׁבִ֣י H7628 his strength עֻזּ֑וֹ H5797 and his glory וְֽתִפְאַרְתּ֥וֹ H8597 hand בְיַד H3027 into the enemy's צָֽר׃ H6862 62 He gave וַיַּסְגֵּ֣ר H5462 also unto the sword לַחֶ֣רֶב H2719 his people עַמּ֑וֹ H5971 with his inheritance וּ֝בְנַחֲלָת֗וֹ H5159 and was wroth הִתְעַבָּֽר׃ H5674 63 their young men בַּחוּרָ֥יו H970 consumed אָֽכְלָה H398 The fire אֵ֑שׁ H784 and their maidens וּ֝בְתוּלֹתָ֗יו H1330 לֹ֣א H3808 were not given to marriage הוּלָּֽלוּ׃ H1984 64 Their priests כֹּ֭הֲנָיו H3548 by the sword בַּחֶ֣רֶב H2719 fell נָפָ֑לוּ H5307 and their widows וְ֝אַלְמְנֹתָ֗יו H490 לֹ֣א H3808 made no lamentation תִבְכֶּֽינָה׃ H1058 65 awaked וַיִּקַ֖ץ H3364 as one out of sleep כְּיָשֵׁ֥ן׀ H3463 Then the Lord אֲדֹנָ֑י H136 and like a mighty man כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר H1368 that shouteth מִתְרוֹנֵ֥ן H7442 by reason of wine מִיָּֽיִן׃ H3196 66 And he
