Can a Christian divorce and remarry?

Answer: Yes, a Christian can divorce and remarry under certain exceptions. The Bible shows in Romans 7:2, that a person is bound to the spouse until the spouse dies.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 7:15, that a person is bound to the spouse until the spouse departs.

In Matthew 19:9, the person is to remain bound and married to the spouse until or except a person commits fornication.

So there are three exceptions to the divorce in this case, it is not a sin to remarry.

Because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 7: 27 -28, and if you are bound to a spouse, or a person leaves you, or you
are loosed from it and you remarry, you did not sin.

However, the Bible says, reconciliation attempts must be first made in 1 Corinthians 7:11.
