Is the Rapture Before or After the Tribulation?

The Bible says the Rapture is before the tribulation.

Matthew 24 is a classic passage that talks about the tribulation.

In verse 21, “For then, shall be Great Tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world.”

So Matthew 24 is about the tribulation, but the Bible calls this a time period of wrath.

It mentions in verse 16, “then let them which be in Judae flee into the mountains.”

That matches with Luke 21:21, “then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains.”

But it says in verse 22, “for these be the days of Vengeance.”

It says, in verse 23, “great wrath upon this people.”

In 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “for God hath not appointed us to wrath.”

We (Christians) are not appointed to wrath.
In the previous verse from 1 Thessalonians 5, we are raptured to heaven.

The tribulation is a time of wrath.
Hence Christians cannot go through the tribulation.
