[15 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/15) According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David. [16 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/16) ¶ And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who *am* I, O LORD God, and what *is* mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? [17 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17) And *yet* this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast *also* spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God. [18 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/18) What can David *speak* more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant. [19 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/19) O LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all *these* great things.* [20 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/20) O LORD, *there is* none like thee, neither *is there any* God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. [21 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/21) And what one nation in the earth *is* like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem *to be* his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt? [22 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/22) For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God. [23 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/23) Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. [24 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/24) Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts *is* the God of Israel, *even* a God to Israel: and *let* the house of David thy servant *be* established before thee. [25 ](/kjv/1-chronicles/17/25) For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found *in his heart* to pray before thee.* [1 Chronicles 16](/kjv/1-chronicles/16) [1 Chronicles 18](/kjv/1-chronicles/18) ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22","name":"1 Chronicles 17:17-22 KJV - \"And yet this was a small thing in thin...\" | Real Bible Believers","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"\"And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, a\" — Read 1 Chronicles 17:17-22 in the King James Version (KJV) with commentary, cross references, and Greek/Hebrew lexicon.","breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22#breadcrumb"},"inLanguage":"en-US","potentialAction":[{"@type":"ReadAction","target":["https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22"]}]},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22#breadcrumb","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","name":"Home"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","name":"KJV Bible"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":3,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles","name":"1 Chronicles"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":4,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17","name":"17"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":5,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/1-chronicles/17/17-22","name":"Verse 17-22"}}]},{"@type":["Person","Organization"],"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","width":512,"height":512},"logo":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo"},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/RBiblebeliever","https://www.facebook.com/RBibleBelievers"]}]} ```
