[22 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/22) By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. [23 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/23) By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw *he was* a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. [24 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/24) By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; [25 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/25) Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; [26 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/26) Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. [27 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/27) By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. [28 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/28) Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. [29 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/29) By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry *land*: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. [30 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/30) By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. [31 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/31) By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. [32 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/32) And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and *of* Barak, and *of* Samson, and *of* Jephthae; *of* David also, and Samuel, and *of* the prophets: [33 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/33) Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, [34 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/34) Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. [35 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/35) Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: [36 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/36) And others had trial of *cruel* mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: [37 ](/kjv/hebrews/11/37) They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; [Hebrews 10](/kjv/hebrews/10) [Hebrews 12](/kjv/hebrews/12) ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34","name":"Hebrews 11:24-34 KJV - \"By faith Moses, when he was come to ye...\" | Real Bible Believers","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"\"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer afflictio\" — Read Hebrews 11:24-34 in the King James Version (KJV) with commentary, cross references, and Greek/Hebrew lexicon.","breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34#breadcrumb"},"inLanguage":"en-US","potentialAction":[{"@type":"ReadAction","target":["https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34"]}]},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34#breadcrumb","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","name":"Home"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","name":"KJV Bible"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":3,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews","name":"Hebrews"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":4,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11","name":"11"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":5,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/hebrews/11/24-34","name":"Verse 24-34"}}]},{"@type":["Person","Organization"],"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","width":512,"height":512},"logo":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo"},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/RBiblebeliever","https://www.facebook.com/RBibleBelievers"]}]} ```
