And Othniel the son of Kenaz died. [12 ](/kjv/judges/3/12) ¶ And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD. [13 ](/kjv/judges/3/13) And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees. [14 ](/kjv/judges/3/14) So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years. [15 ](/kjv/judges/3/15) But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.** [16 ](/kjv/judges/3/16) But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh. [17 ](/kjv/judges/3/17) And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon *was* a very fat man. [18 ](/kjv/judges/3/18) And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present. [19 ](/kjv/judges/3/19) But he himself turned again from the quarries that *were* by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.* [20 ](/kjv/judges/3/20) And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of *his* seat.* [21 ](/kjv/judges/3/21) And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly: [22 ](/kjv/judges/3/22) And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.* [23 ](/kjv/judges/3/23) Then Ehud went forth through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlour upon him, and locked them. [24 ](/kjv/judges/3/24) When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour *were* locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.* [Judges 2](/kjv/judges/2) [Judges 4](/kjv/judges/4) ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21","name":"Judges 3:12-21 KJV - \"And the children of Israel did evil ag...\" | Real Bible Believers","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"\"And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israe\" — Read Judges 3:12-21 in the King James Version (KJV) with commentary, cross references, and Greek/Hebrew lexicon.","breadcrumb":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21#breadcrumb"},"inLanguage":"en-US","potentialAction":[{"@type":"ReadAction","target":["https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21"]}]},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21#breadcrumb","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/","name":"Home"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv","name":"KJV Bible"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":3,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges","name":"Judges"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":4,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3","name":"3"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":5,"item":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/kjv/judges/3/12-21","name":"Verse 12-21"}}]},{"@type":["Person","Organization"],"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509","image":{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/android-chrome-512x512.png","width":512,"height":512},"logo":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#personlogo"},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/RBiblebeliever","https://www.facebook.com/RBibleBelievers"]}]} ```
