Amos 1:1 - The words of Amos who was among the herdmen of Tekoa which he saw concerning Israel and in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king concerning Israel two years before the earthquake

Amos 7:8 - Then said And the LORD what seest unto me Amos Then said A plumbline Then said the Lord Behold I will set A plumbline in the midst of my people Israel I will not again pass by

Amos 7:10 - sent Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel to Jeroboam king of Israel saying hath conspired Amos against thee in the midst of the house of Israel is not able the land to bear all his words

Amos 7:11 - saith For thus Amos by the sword shall die Jeroboam and Israel be led away captive be led away captive out of their own land

Amos 7:12 - said Also Amaziah unto Amos O thou seer flee thee away into the land of Judah and there eat bread and prophesy

Amos 7:14 - Then answered Amos and said to Amaziah I was no prophet son I was no prophet but I was an herdman and a gatherer of sycomore fruit

Amos 8:2 - And he said what seest Amos And he said A basket of summer fruit And he said the LORD is come unto me The end upon my people of Israel I will not again pass
