Praise ye the LORD. [Psalms 149](/study/psalms/149) [Proverbs 1](/study/proverbs/1) ## Commentary To verse 1 **In his sanctuary;**in his *temple*, where this work was to be performed constantly and solemnly. Or, who dwelleth *in his sanctuary*. So it describeth and limiteth the object of their praises. Or, *for* (as this particle is used in the next verse) *his sanctuary*, for this great favour of placing his sanctuary and dwelling-place amongst men. **In the firmament of his power;**in his heavenly mansion, there let the blessed angels praise him. Or, who dwelleth *in the firmament*, or *spreading forth of his power*, to wit, in the heavens, which were stretched out by his great power, and in which are the most glorious testimonies of his infinite power. Or, *for the firmament*, &c.; for that glorious and astonishing piece of his workmanship. ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/pooles-english-annotations-on-the-holy-bible/psalms/150#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/pooles-english-annotations-on-the-holy-bible/psalms/150#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/pooles-english-annotations-on-the-holy-bible/psalms/150","name":"Psalms 150 - Study King James Bible with pooles english annotations on the holy bible","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/pooles-english-annotations-on-the-holy-bible/psalms/150#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"Read Psalms 150 with pooles english annotations on the holy bible commentary. 1 Praise ye the LORD.
