Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew *is as* the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. 20 ¶ Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.* [Isaiah 25](/study/isaiah/25) [Isaiah 27](/study/isaiah/27) ## Commentary To verse 1 **that day:** [Isaiah 2:11](/kjv/isaiah/2/11), [Isaiah 2:20](/kjv/isaiah/2/20), [Isaiah 12:1](/kjv/isaiah/12/1), [Isaiah 24:21-23](/kjv/isaiah/24/21-23), [Isaiah 25:9](/kjv/isaiah/25/9) **this song:** [Isaiah 5:1](/kjv/isaiah/5/1), [Isaiah 27:1](/kjv/isaiah/27/1), [Isaiah 27:2](/kjv/isaiah/27/2), [Exodus 15:2-21](/kjv/exodus/15/2-21), [Numbers 21:17](/kjv/numbers/21/17), [Judges 5:1-31](/kjv/judges/5/1-31), [2 Samuel 22:1-51](/kjv/2-samuel/22/1-51), [Jeremiah 33:11](/kjv/jeremiah/33/11), [Ephesians 5:19](/kjv/ephesians/5/19), [Ephesians 5:20](/kjv/ephesians/5/20), [Revelation 19:1-7](/kjv/revelation/19/1-7) **in the land:** [Ezra 3:11](/kjv/ezra/3/11), [Psalms 137:3](/kjv/psalms/137/3), [Psalms 137:4](/kjv/psalms/137/4) **salvation:** [Isaiah 60:18](/kjv/isaiah/60/18), [Isaiah 62:11](/kjv/isaiah/62/11), [Psalms 31:21](/kjv/psalms/31/21), [Psalms 48:12](/kjv/psalms/48/12), [Zechariah 2:5](/kjv/zechariah/2/5), [Matthew 16:18](/kjv/matthew/16/18), [Revelation 21:12-22](/kjv/revelation/21/12-22) **Reciprocal:** [Isaiah 24:14](/kjv/isaiah/24/14) - *General* [Isaiah 30:29](/kjv/isaiah/30/29) - Ye shall [Isaiah 33:16](/kjv/isaiah/33/16) - his place [Isaiah 48:20](/kjv/isaiah/48/20) - with a voice [Isaiah 49:16](/kjv/isaiah/49/16) - thy walls [Isaiah 52:8](/kjv/isaiah/52/8) - with [Ezekiel 40:5](/kjv/ezekiel/40/5) - a wall [Ezekiel 42:20](/kjv/ezekiel/42/20) - it had [Ezekiel 48:31](/kjv/ezekiel/48/31) - *General* [Hosea 2:18](/kjv/hosea/2/18) - in that day [Nahum 1:7](/kjv/nahum/1/7) - strong hold [Zechariah 9:8](/kjv/zechariah/9/8) - I will [Zechariah 14:11](/kjv/zechariah/14/11) - shall be safely inhabited [Philippians 3:20](/kjv/philippians/3/20) - conversation [Colossians 3:16](/kjv/colossians/3/16) - and spiritual ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/isaiah/26#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/isaiah/26#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/isaiah/26","name":"Isaiah 26 - Study King James Bible with treasury of scripture knowledge","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/isaiah/26#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"Read Isaiah 26 with treasury of scripture knowledge commentary. 1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah;
