be not silent to me: lest, *if* thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.* 2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.* 3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief *is* in their hearts. 4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. 5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. 6 Blessed *be* the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. 7 The LORD *is* my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. 8 The LORD *is* their strength, and he *is* the saving strength of his anointed.** 9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.* [Psalms 27](/study/psalms/27) [Psalms 29](/study/psalms/29) ## Commentary To verse 1 **Unto:** [Psalms 3:4](/kjv/psalms/3/4), [Psalms 5:2](/kjv/psalms/5/2), [Psalms 22:2](/kjv/psalms/22/2), [Psalms 77:1](/kjv/psalms/77/1), [Psalms 142:1](/kjv/psalms/142/1) **O:** [Psalms 18:2](/kjv/psalms/18/2), [Psalms 42:9](/kjv/psalms/42/9), [Isaiah 26:4](/kjv/isaiah/26/4), *marg. **be:** [Psalms 35:22](/kjv/psalms/35/22), [Psalms 83:1](/kjv/psalms/83/1) **to:** Heb. from **I become:** [Psalms 30:9](/kjv/psalms/30/9), [Psalms 69:15](/kjv/psalms/69/15), [Psalms 88:4-6](/kjv/psalms/88/4-6), [Psalms 143:7](/kjv/psalms/143/7), [Job 33:28](/kjv/job/33/28), [Proverbs 1:12](/kjv/proverbs/1/12), [Isaiah 38:18](/kjv/isaiah/38/18), [Revelation 20:3](/kjv/revelation/20/3) **Reciprocal:** [Job 33:26](/kjv/job/33/26) - pray [Psalms 18:3](/kjv/psalms/18/3) - I will [Psalms 26:9](/kjv/psalms/26/9) - Gather not [Psalms 30:3](/kjv/psalms/30/3) - down [Psalms 55:1](/kjv/psalms/55/1) - hide [Psalms 109:1](/kjv/psalms/109/1) - Hold [Psalms 140:6](/kjv/psalms/140/6) - hear [Song of Solomon 1:7](/kjv/song-of-solomon/1/7) - for [Song of Solomon 5:6](/kjv/song-of-solomon/5/6) - I sought [Ezekiel 26:20](/kjv/ezekiel/26/20) - I shall bring [Ezekiel 28:8](/kjv/ezekiel/28/8) - shall bring [Matthew 15:23](/kjv/matthew/15/23) - *General* ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/28#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/28#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/28","name":"Psalms 28 - Study King James Bible with treasury of scripture knowledge","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/28#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"Read Psalms 28 with treasury of scripture knowledge commentary. 1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock;
