Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: *there is* none that doeth good.* 2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were *any* that did understand, that did seek God. 3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; *there is* none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people *as* they eat bread: they have not called upon God. 5 There were they in great fear, *where* no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth *against* thee: thou hast put *them* to shame, because God hath despised them.* 6 Oh that the salvation of Israel *were come* out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, *and* Israel shall be glad.* [Psalms 52](/study/psalms/52) [Psalms 54](/study/psalms/54) ## Commentary To verse 1 **fool:** [Psalms 14:1-7](/kjv/psalms/14/1-7), [Psalms 92:6](/kjv/psalms/92/6), [Matthew 5:22](/kjv/matthew/5/22), [Luke 12:20](/kjv/luke/12/20) **said:** [Psalms 10:4](/kjv/psalms/10/4), [Psalms 10:6](/kjv/psalms/10/6), [Psalms 10:11](/kjv/psalms/10/11), [Psalms 10:13](/kjv/psalms/10/13), [1 Kings 12:26](/kjv/1-kings/12/26), [Romans 1:21](/kjv/romans/1/21), [Romans 1:28](/kjv/romans/1/28) **Corrupt:** [Genesis 6:5](/kjv/genesis/6/5), [Genesis 6:6](/kjv/genesis/6/6), [Genesis 6:11-13](/kjv/genesis/6/11-13), [Job 14:4](/kjv/job/14/4), [Job 15:16](/kjv/job/15/16) **have done:** [Leviticus 18:24-30](/kjv/leviticus/18/24-30), [Deuteronomy 12:31](/kjv/deuteronomy/12/31), [1 Kings 14:24](/kjv/1-kings/14/24), [Ezekiel 16:47](/kjv/ezekiel/16/47), [Ezekiel 16:51](/kjv/ezekiel/16/51), [Ephesians 5:12](/kjv/ephesians/5/12), [1 Peter 4:3](/kjv/1-peter/4/3) **there is:** [Romans 3:10-31](/kjv/romans/3/10-31) **Reciprocal:** [Psalms 73:8](/kjv/psalms/73/8) - corrupt [Jeremiah 17:9](/kjv/jeremiah/17/9) - *General* [Jeremiah 51:17](/kjv/jeremiah/51/17) - Every [Matthew 12:34](/kjv/matthew/12/34) - how [Mark 7:21](/kjv/mark/7/21) - out [Romans 3:12](/kjv/romans/3/12) - there is none [Romans 8:7](/kjv/romans/8/7) - the carnal mind ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com","name":"Real Bible Believers","description":"RBB","publisher":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"potentialAction":[{"@type":"SearchAction","target":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/search?q={search_term_string}","query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}],"inLanguage":"en-US"},{"@type":"ImageObject","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/53#primaryimage","inLanguage":"en-US","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","contentUrl":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/_app/immutable/assets/missing.C7wGMEZ6.jpg","width":672,"height":448,"caption":"Real Bible Believers"},{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/53#webpage","url":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/53","name":"Psalms 53 - Study King James Bible with treasury of scripture knowledge","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#website"},"primaryImageOfPage":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/study/treasury-of-scripture-knowledge/psalms/53#primaryimage"},"author":{"@id":"https://realbiblebelievers.com/#/schema/person/e966585dde703268e7f6ae890ea98509"},"description":"Read Psalms 53 with treasury of scripture knowledge commentary. 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
