Revelation 3:9 “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie;”
God’s going to make this particular group, Satan’s synagogue who claim that they’re Jews but they’re not. They’re lying about themselves.
Whoever these fake Jews are, God says that they’re going to do something.
“behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
Jesus said that I’m going to make these fake Jews come before your feet, worship you. That way they can know that Jesus loved them. One day they’re going to kneel down and they’re going to beg in front of you. Guess who’s that applying to?
Revelation 2:9 is infamously used to be an anti-semitic verse against today’s nation of Israel, saying that these are not real Jews.
A lot of people who study conspiracy and elites, because they see Jews involved with the bank system, Hollywood, elites and Rothschilds, etc, think they cannot be legitimately Jews, God’s people. They must be fake Jews.
But previously in Revelation 2:9, we’ve already seen that it’s actually referring to those anti-semites who claim they’re Jews. Jehovah Witnesses claim that they’re the 144,000 Jews at Revelation 7. The Black Hebrew Israelites claim that they’re Jews. The Muslim nation claims that the real Abrahamic seed was not through Isaac where those Jews came from, it was from Ishmael. The Catholic church, Mormon church, and all the other so-called Christian churches who join that denomination, think they’re the replacement of God’s people, God’s nation. A huge number of churches today, especially if they believe in Calvinism, they believe in this heretical doctrine called replacement theology. Basically, they replace the Jews. Dispensationalists do not believe in that. We believe that God has a program with the nation of Israel and the church. He does not break any covenant with any of them. He doesn’t say ‘Okay, I’m going to replace one with the other’.
So Revelation 3:9 is referring to those guys as fake Jews.
Zechariah 8:19 “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.”
Verse 19 is speaking to the house of Judah. Remember Isaiah 22 that the key of David is with the house of Judah. There’s a connection here.
Zechariah 8:15 “So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.”
It says here Jerusalem and the house of Judah. Notice right here that it’s talking about Jerusalem. Jerusalem was mentioned a few times here in the chapter at verses 3, 8 etc. Remember Revelation 3:9, these fake Jews are going to ‘come before your feed and know that I have loved thee’.
Zechariah 8:23 “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.”
Remember that they’re going to bow on their knees and hold their feet. Why? They’re going to come to worship you because they know God is with them. And to seek proper worship from God, they have to go to that modern Jew.
This is not referring to the Jews today, this is referring to those anti-semites who claim that they’re Jews. No, they’re the fake Jews and these are the guys who are going to bow the knee to these Jews that they hate, saying ‘We’re going to go with you because God is with you’. That’s going to swallow their pride.
What did God say about Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon? ‘I’m going to use you to punish my people, they’re going to get their judgment. But you’re going to submit to them at the end, Babylon. I’m going to punish you for what you did to Israel’.
God has His way of doing things that you don’t like.
2 Samuel 7:5 “Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?”
He’s talking about the house.
2 Samuel 7:11 “And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.”
“over my people Israel,” it’s talking about the Jews of that time. “Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.” That’s the house of David right here, there’s something going on.
2 Samuel 7:12-14 “And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:”
“thy seed” this is referring to David’s seed.
“I will be his father, and he shall be my son.” He’s talking about Solomon’s line. Can’t God give up the house of David with these literal Jews who came from Solomon’s line? No, look at verse 15.
2 Samuel 7:15-16 “But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.”
He didn’t break His covenant with David’s physical lineage here, this Solomon’s line. These Jews are going to get their kingdom, they’re given that key that no man can shut. No matter how hard you try to shut the door, God’s going to keep it open.
But guess who else is included? You. Look at verse 14, “If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:” The second half of verse 14 is Solomon because when Solomon commits iniquity, God chastens him. But the first part of verse 14 is Jesus Christ. That’s why you better do double application.
If you don’t believe that, look at Hebrews 1.
Hebrews 1:5 “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?”
When has God ever said this? That’s what the verse is saying, God has said this before. This is referring to Jesus and God the Father.
Hebrews 1:6 “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
The first-begotten is God’s line.
Hebrews 1:8 “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”
God promised Solomon, David’s line that the throne forever but now He’s saying to Jesus that the throne is forever. Why? God is seeing double application here. He’s saying literal Jews from Solomon’s line and He’s looking at us Christians. Why? Because it’s from Jesus’s line right here.
Psalms 89:28 “My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.”
Remember that God gave that promise to David’s seed: My covenant is going to be with you forever, I’m not going to take my mercy away from you as I did with Saul.
Psalms 89:20 “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:”
It’s talking about David’s line here.
Psalms 89:27 “Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.”
Hebrews 1:5 “I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son” “first-begotten”. Do you want a Christian verse for that one? In 1 Corinthians 15, it says Jesus Christ is the first fruit, first-begotten right here.
So this is referring to Jesus’s line right here. When will he rule over all the kings of the earth? This is Jesus Christ right here.
Psalms 89:36 “His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.”
Psalms 89:29 “His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.”
Verse 29 is referring to Jesus Christ’s seed. This is your verse on eternal security. That’s why it makes sense about 1 Peter that you got an incorruptible seed in you.
Who’s this seed talking about? It’s talking about the Christian church. It’s not referring to Jews. This is referring to the first begotten seed.
Who is the first begotten’s seed? Who is Jesus’s seed? That’s us. That’s why Jesus said we are to be born again. That’s He’s the first-begotten because we are born again after that from His line in His lineage.
Let’s review Revelation 3 then. Revelation 3 is undoubtedly and clearly double application. It makes so much sense when you do double application.
If we’re going to read from verses 7 to 9, doctrinally, tribulation saints, the Jews, God gave them the key of the house of David if they continue to be faithful and to endure. By doing that then He will promise some entrance to rule at David’s kingdom at the Millennium. No antichrist and false preachers out there can shut that down and say that these are fake Jews. No, Revelation 3:9 calls them the fake Jews.
It also refers to the Christian church at Revelation 3:9. They’re not only going to bow down to a modern-day Jew, they’re going to bow to you. These people who poke fun at you at street preaching, said ‘Hail Satan’ and criticize you, these wicked people on CNN, CNBC and Fox News, all these schools out there, all these false churches and pastors who criticized you and attacked you, they’re going to come down on you on one knee and they’re going to do reverence before you and say “We know that God is with you and you guys are right.”
God’s going to get the victory at the end where Israel will stand triumphant and the church. All the world’s going to bow their knee before Jesus Christ, the King of kings.
