If you are to die today, are you 100% sure you’re going to heaven?

If God were to hold you by your foot, hell is right underneath you, and He asks you why shouldn’t He send you to hell, what would you say?

Please be serious about your salvation. Many people are upset when someone asks them about their salvation. The Bible says to examine ourselves whether or not we be in the faith. So do not be upset because people care enough for you to not want you to go to hell.

2 Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

So let’s go back to the basics of salvation.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

You may say “I love Jesus” or “I’ve been a Christian all my life” or “I pray to Jesus all my life” – it does not matter. You are not saved by these actions. How do you qualify for salvation?

Step 1

The first step is to recognize that you are a sinner. You have to recognize that you are lost, that you are a sinner. What happens to sinners?

They go to hell.

You may ask at this point, but why? Isn’t God terrible for sending sinners to hell? As an eternal God, He has to make sure that sin is punished within His timetable. He must judge your sin because He is perfect and sin is against Him. God is 100% holy and He cannot compromise, not even with 1%. God cannot be God unless He is 100% holy. God takes wrath, judgment, and holiness seriously.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Do you want to burn in hell forever? Don’t stay in your comfort zone. Your soul is going to be on fire, get out of there!

Step 2

The answer to escape hell is Jesus Christ who is God came to die for you on the cross.

No one can save you apart from Jesus Christ. He is God, therefore 100% perfect. He came down from heaven to die for you. At that moment when He died for you on Calvary, He cleansed your every sin, thus making you clean to go to heaven. He died for you because He loved you that much.

You cannot rely on your good works to eliminate your sin. God is 100% holy. He wants you to have zero sin. You cannot trust yourself to save yourself.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Repent

If you think that you need to repent of every evil thing that you are doing to be saved, you are wrong. Jesus Christ is the one who saves you. Repentance is a change of mind, that you want the Lord to save you and you don’t want to continue in your sinful ways.

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Believe

You need to truly know it in your heart that Jesus died for you on the cross to save you. Not just have a piece of head knowledge. A lot of people have head knowledge that Jesus died, buried, and resurrected but they don’t actually believe that Jesus’ death and resurrection were enough to save them. It is really simple, just believe that Jesus died for your sins.

According to the verses below, a salvation testimony needs to have a time, location, and situation.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There are a few types of testimonies that are not okay for salvation:

“Oh I saw Jesus in a vision or I heard Jesus talk to me.”

–> You relied on a vision, not on Jesus to save you.

“I felt Jesus in my heart.”

–> You relied on your feelings, not Jesus to save you.

Confess

This is not about confessing to a priest. When you trusted in Jesus to die for your sins, you would have said it out with your mouth that you believe. You need to tell God, “God, I need to be saved” and what you believe in to be saved. At that moment of time, you got saved.

You do not need to repeat every night that you want to be saved. Once you repent, believe, and confess that Jesus died, buried, and resurrected, that blood was enough to save you from your sins, you are saved.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is a difference between repeating the prayer than actually trusting what God did on the cross to save you.

Would you like to do that right now and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior?

Dear God, I repent as a sinner. I believe Jesus is God who died, buried, and resurrected to save me from hell. So I only rely on that precious blood, that very act you did on the cross to save me. I am not relying on my head belief or anything I do, or cleaning up my sins or any good thing I do to save me. I only believe in what you do to save me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Did you mean it with your heart?

Then, my friend, you are saved.

Satan has confused people with how to be saved with so many religions. There are too many lies.

The only way to find the truth is through the word of God. You are not going to find it through the 200+ modern Bible verses. You need the KJV Bible and become a Bible believer by studying more about dispensationalism. You also need to attend a Bible-believing church. If there isn’t one near you, you can also check out RBB Connect. Always test what the preachers and churches teach according to the word of God.
