Anti Evolution Genesis

Genesis 1:9 “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.”

On the third day, God says “let the waters under the heaven…” This is about the waters under the firmament. The water is gathered in one place, so the dry land appears. That means that dry land was below the waters.

That is connected with the Genesis gap. The dry land is where Lucifer and his fallen angels were living, but the Lord drowned them out. We already saw from 2 Peter 3 that this is a universal flood. The verse finishes with, “and it was so,” as if saying, “it happened.”

Two earths

Genesis 1:10 “And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.”

In verses 9 and 10, God calls the dry land earth. When we pick up the soil from the ground, we would call it earth. But God already created the earth when we go back to Genesis 1:1.

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

So, notice here, we see earth already created in verse 1. But in verse 10 we see it is made. What is going on here? God is talking about two earths: dry land in verse 10 and the current planet that we live on earth in verse 1.

Throughout the Bible, earth is referring to the current ground that we walk on. There are also other verses such as in the book of Job where earth refers to the planet. Bible believers believe every word of what the Bible says, such as: “He hangs the earth upon nothing.”

In other verses, it shows the dry land earth where pillars are hung, etc. God shows the dry land to be earth, and he shows how we get our current planet earth that it is hanging upon nothing.

The waters, he gathered together and called that seas. God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:11 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”

Now, notice we have vegetation. Notice that every herb we get on our earth, that the Bible says, “yielding seed.” So, each fruit tree has a seed, will yield and bring forth fruit.

Evolution

When scientists cave into evolution, they believe that man evolved from monkeys, which evolved from something else back to our earth. But the Bible says we are not all of common ancestry since each is “after his kind.” What they fail to realize is that it is not a common ancestry, but a common designer. It should prove that there is a God rather than evolution. There is no such thing as macro-evolution, the idea that we can evolve from outside our species. We believe dogs can produce different types of dogs, cats with cats, but dogs will not produce cats. There are big gaps between evolutions. There is no way they can find the ancestors.

Genesis 1:11 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”

The Bible says “yielding fruit after his kind.” Notice it says, “whose seed is in itself.” This is how gardeners and people working with vegetation start to reproduce and yield fruit, by planting seeds.

We see the same in verse 12 below.

Genesis 1:12 “And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

God saw that everything he made was good.

Genesis 1:13 “And the evening and the morning were the third day.”

All the growth of vegetation happened on the third day.

Lights

Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”

God says for there to be lights in heaven, which is the firmament according to verse 8. So, these lights which God will describe in the next verse are for dividing day and night. They are for signs and seasons. Today we have the sun, moon, and stars doing that for us. The light in verse 3 is different from the light in verse 14. The light from verse 14 is how we perceive light.

The Genesis gap answers many questions. It was God himself that divided the darkness from the light in verses 3-5.

Genesis 1:15-16 “And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

In verse 16, we see where we get the sun, moon, and stars. How many stars are there in the universe? Well, God knows how many and all their names, “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names” (Psalms 147:4).

Genesis 1:18-19 “And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

God saw that it was good, and that was the fourth day. God created plants before the sun. God can create everything out of nothing and His power can keep the plants going.

Waters bring forth creatures that hath life

Genesis 1:20 “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”

Remember the waters that were gathered and called Seas. God says for it to bring forth life. So, life is being born from water.

Scientists or evolutionists like to say that life was formed from something liquid. But then other scientists or creationists put out a good point. The ocean or water does not contain the proteins, DNA, and other origin elements to form life. Water creatures also cannot live outside of water. To do this, we need multiple conditions in place at the exact moment. If this happens over a long period of time, there is no way life can be born out of the water. If a scientist can make life in a lab with perfect conditions and everything planned out, he just proved intelligent design. So, every time they have an experiment proving evolution, just thank them for proving intelligent design.

Now, look at John chapter 3, we start with verse 3 to understand the context:

John 3:3-4 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? “

Nicodemus does not know about the second spiritual rebirth. All he knows is the physical birth, a fleshly birth. There is not just the first physical birth, there also is a second birth, a spiritual birth. So, Jesus has these two births in mind when he’s explaining.

John 3:5 “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Tons of churches think this is baptism. But baptism is never mentioned here. This is about a physical birth and a spiritual birth. When a woman gives birth, her water breaks. Why? We are all born of water. Now looking back at Genesis 1:20, we see that life comes from water.

The deep doctrine

From the Old Testament from Adam and Eve, you go back 4000 years, and the new testament will be 2000 years.

2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

How God perceives time is different from how man perceives time. The question is why did God create the six days, and on the seventh, He did nothing?

Everything God does is for a reason. Look at the four days of creation, there is no living entity until the fifth day. On the fifth day, life is born of water.

Now let’s put that in parallel with the first 4000 years of man’s history where there’s no life. Starting on the fifth day, Jesus dies on the cross giving life through His precious holy blood. That is why Jesus said to Nicodemus that you are born of water and of the spirit. Why? Because you are dead in sins and need a rebirth.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Now, back to Genesis 1:20. “God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly.” It takes a large amount of water to create creatures that move, and would have life. Yes, that matches with us, saved believers. We can see that in John chapter 7. The Bible says that when we receive the Holy Spirit of God, it can have large amounts of water. The Lord has all these in mind when He was creating us.

John 7:38-39 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

You sense the Holy Spirit moving during a Holy Spirit-filled revival meeting; the lost people see that, and it agitates them.

After his kind

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

God created great whales, and waters brought forth abundantly. This is again proof against the evolutionist. Evolutionists will say, “Bible says great fish swallowed Jonah and Jesus said it was a whale.” The scientist will tell you a whale is a mammal, not a fish.

They are technical, which scientists would not do under casual conversations. God can throw the term however He wants; He created them after all. “Species” is a manmade term. If God calls a whale a fish, it is a fish!

Genesis 1:22 “And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”

Now, notice how he blessed them by saying, “Be fruitful.” It is the same as the vegetation-producing fruit. If you look up the word fruit in your Bible, it is a life that you’re bringing forth from your womb. We see that they are to multiply, reproduce and fill the waters in the sea.

Notice the Bible never says, “reproduce.” It says, “Be fruitful, and multiply.” It is because it is the first time they are doing that. It is good to know that because look what God does the next day.

Genesis 1:23 “And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.”

So, then the fifth day is over.

Genesis 1:24 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.”

Now God is producing animals from the earth and humans from dry land. So, these are creatures in the land, and they are also each “after his kind.” There is no common ancestry here.

Notice in verse 25, that God does not care what he puts these classifications of animals.

Genesis 1:25 “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Notice how many times God repeats “after his kind.” It looks like he is making something very clear. Notice that insects were created on the same day as the dogs.
