What are some Christian arguments supporting marijuana?

First argument: God said, I can eat any herb because Genesis 1:29 says briefly, “Behold I have given you every herb to you, it shall be for meat.”

But what about toxic plants or poison mushrooms?

Eating any herb in Genesis 1 was before the fall.

After the fall, sin corrupted the plants and creation.

Second argument: Marijuana is better than pharmaceuticals.

So what? In any health decision you make, are there alternatives besides sketchy meds and marijuana to protect your testimony?  When a lost soul sees you smoke, does it appear to be sober?

Titus 2:6 warns, “Young men, be sober-minded.” 

1 Thessalonian 5:22 warns,  “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

Is your testimony more important than help?

Revelation 12:11 says briefly, “And they overcame him by their testimony and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
